The judge has granted CNN's Jim Acosta a temporary restraining order restoring his hard pass to White House press conferences. Hard passes for the hard asses!
Apparently the judge was concerned that the unwritten rules of appropriate press conference behavior were, well, unwritten. Team Trump will now write up some rules and the whole exercise may be a Phyrric victory for the media:
“This could backfire,” said William L. Youmans, a professor of media law at George Washington University. Mr. Acosta “gets his credential now, but it empowers the Trump administration to come up with conduct-based criteria.”
“A ‘rudeness’ or ‘aggressive behavior’ policy would have a huge chilling effect, and would be much more damaging to the whole system,” Dr. Youmans added. “If it lowers the bar for pulling credentials, it’s a recipe for a more tepid press.”
Twitter has already lit up with leaked video of Sarah Huckabee Sanders and Jim Acosta discussing the rules for a press conference.
If every potential violation of decency must first be written down, we need a shitload more paper and toner, plus we are doomed

Team Trump will now write up some rules and the whole exercise may be a Phyrric victory for the media:
Here's the top 10 from "All I Really Need to Know I Learned in Kindergarten"
1. Share everything.
2. Play fair.
3. Don't hit people.
4. Put things back where you found them.
5. CLEAN UP YOUR OWN MESS.
6. Don't take things that aren't yours.
7. Say you're SORRY when you HURT somebody.
8. Wash your hands before you eat.
9. Flush.
10. Warm cookies and cold milk are good for you.
I think that's a pretty good start, tho' in my book it can all be boiled down to the old Golden Rule---“Do unto others as you would have them do unto you."
If you can't do that, take a hike, Buster.

Funny that you posted J&TS's. Somewhere I have Thunder and Fire on cassette. Great band.
As I brought up your link I was driving by World Famous Wayne's house. Former coworker and high maintenance acquaintance. The last time I was in his house he gave me some J&TS's merch that I have somewhere.
He got mad at me for not staying in touch after I jumped in the pool with my phone in my pocket and lost his number.

Jason and the Scorchers, were almost a novelty act when they first "made it" Jason Ringenberg played the hayseed to the MAX. Warner Hodges fit perfectly as the foil to Jason. Kind of like Cheap Trick on their IN COLOR album. Nielsen and Bun E. are goofy and have mopeds, Robin and Tom have cool bikes and pretty boy hair.
Hodges can EFFFFING BRING IT, and Ringenberg can really sing and write.
I opened for them in the early 80's. It was awesome.

Alright daddy, I don't have a minion available till Monday morning. So I'm asking... how'd you post the pic?
Bubarooni,
If you were asking about the slightly enlarged icons, I simply get on Safari and click on the name of the poster at the bottom of the post, for example I will click on "Captain Hate" at the Captain's 09:20 post above. Then when that page opens I put my cursor on his puppy dog icon and with my left finger I hit and hold down "Control" on the lower left of the keyboard. When that new menu opens up I click on "Open Image in New Tab" with my right finger. Then I open that tab, click on the URL box until it turns blue, and then paste that into the standard few jibberish symbols we use to post regular pics:
Voila!
As for the Hockney I just opened Bing or Google pics of "Hockney's 90 Million swimmer", and chose a pic that had pixel number's of no more than 400 x 300, copied it's URL, and used the regular method to post it.

From an earlier Miss M UK Spectator link about Brexit: Stopping Brexit means stopping democracy:
...some are dishonest about it. Like Theresa May and those sections of the Cabinet that capitulated to her deal that will strangle British sovereignty and reduce us to a craven vassal state that not only has to abide by EU rules but will also lack any mechanism for unilaterally withdrawing from them. A ‘Brexit deal’, they call it. Do not insult our intelligence. Voters are not as dim as you think. We know this deal represents the thwarting of Brexit, not the realisation of it. We voted to take back control from Brussels and you have ceded greater control to Brussels. We voted to wriggle free of unaccountable EU decision-making and you have tied us even tighter into unaccountable EU decision-making. Anyone who calls this a ‘Brexit deal’ is a liar or a fool.
It brings to mind that cynical but funny line from Tom Hanks in "The Simpson's Movie:"

"This is Tom Hanks saying, if you're going to pick a government to trust, why not this one?"
Yeah. As long as Britain is gonna surrender for 70 years to a bunch of foreign bureaucrats who hate their guts, why not just surrender to us instead? At least we sort'a speak the same language.

An orange bouffant and a wise crack causes them to quiver with anti-Hitlerian rage but a poised, bloody scimitar elicits their bonhomie and a welcome mat.

Or even more so, not using his influence and power/ability to affect change......FOR US.
Johnny Boner's ACT has always been transparent to me. For obvious reasons. Not a completely horrid criminal person, BONER, has enriched himself IMMENSELY, while also retiring from PUBLIC SERVICE as a MULTI-MILLIONAIRE and will have a HUGE PAYCHECK ......FROM US......for life.

Yes, gus and dr. Savage can be a jackass ocassionally other times he obsesses too much about cute forest creatures but Theresa May takes the take some years after she did this we found she not only let loose Gitmo prisoner could gave them cash and brand spanking new appartments.
Posted by: Narciso79 | November 17, 2018 at 12:12 AM
Pin, the level of thought and decision making that Mrs May implored, in banning Michael Savage from the UK is scary. It indicates a willingness to use power to silence people who merely have political or ideological differences from the person weilding the ban hammer. And in the years hence, The UK, has shrunken from it's duty to allow FREE EXPRESSION that does not agree with the STATES acquiesence to it's own CULTURAL SUICIDE. In the end, those whom THERESA MAY et al seek to CODDLE, will usher in a NATION that will ban THERESA MAY.
Posted by: GUS | November 17, 2018 at 12:17 AM

It happens HERE........BIG TIME. The MFM, is licking OCCASIONALLY COHERANTS ass, they slobber over any WYMYN especially a "Black" woman, who runs for office, without any regard to the qualifications, track record, criminal record, i.q. or accomplishments.
