Miss Marple's 6:15 is part of the reason I stopped watching Rupert's Sunday Infotainment Hour, after seeing Rove pronounce multiple times that the Reagan Democrats were extinct and never coming back, with dummy Chris Wallace nodding along like a bobble head. The reason Rove said that was they weren't part of his client group to fleece. I knew GD well from driving through Mahoning County and just paying a moderate amount of attention to the paltry amount of reporting that wends it way here that what worked for Reagan would work for any other candidate willing to address their concerns with a conservative solution.

I want to again thank the Ohio GOP and their sad sack candidate, Jim Renacci, for doing next to nothing to remove that vermin from office at a particularly vulnerable time for him. I guess the ruling class Repukes figure Brown is someone they can live with.

Monopoly for Millenials (it is a real thing):
"Forget real estate. You can't afford it anyway," reads the tagline to the board game that strikes a nerve every bit as much as it strikes the jugular, a game too real to be funny, which is exactly why it's so funny. "Adulting is hard. You deserve a break from the rat race," reads the box's back alongside a graphic of Uncle Pennybags taking a selfie.

Captain Hate,
On the last thread you were talking about how you were aware of the changing vote patterns, even though Karl Rove was clueless.
I am a Republican due to Ronald Reagan. I had voted democrat for Jimmy Carter (WHAT a mistake) and by the time Reagan ran I was fed up.
However, I have always been uncomfortable with Republicans like Eric Cantor and Mitt Romney, because I have watched jobs leave and knew things like NAFTA were not goof for the economy. Trump actually understands, so why this came as a big surprise to people that he won I have no idea.
I have always said that Karl Rove got lucky with being the consultant for W, who was a much more appealing candidate than Gore. If he had been a competent campaign manager, W shouldn't have had to go through that Florida mess.
We are very fortunate that Trump has natural political skills (albeit of a different sort from most politicians, which is to our advantage). I noriced that all of his campaign people are not from the usual groups of losers.
Another little thing I noticed was Trump saying Pelosi deserves to be Speaker. People forget that the Speaker is voted on by the whole House, not just the majority party. I will bet you cash money that he gets Jordan and the Freedom caucus to vote for Pelosi, keeping a more appealing and competent dem out of the Speaker position and causing all sorts of dissension in the dems. Plus Trump can say she is bipartisan and owes the GOP. Great needling position!

speaking of things which can be hacked via networks, the F35:
But whether we're talking about a home computer, phone, tablet, or a hugely expensive fighter jet, vulnerabilities add up the more you're connected with the outside world. Much of the's F-35's strength lies in its ability to connect to the wider military and harness big data about the mission.
The worldwide F-35 fleet is connected to at least two secure networks designed to maximize efficiency. The first is the Autonomic Logistics Information System, or ALIS, which keeps track of individual aircraft issues and the location of spare parts and equipment worldwide.

Acting AG Whitaker should ask Mueller for an interim public report.
Mueller has nothing and wants Trump to fire him so it will lead to impeachment hearings.
The Senate should then call Mueller up to testify and ask ... Dude, where is that collusion?”
When the public sees there is nothing, this will end quickly.
