More Resistance Porn? Benjamin Wittes says its too late to slow the Mueller Express.
His Point Six may induce a dmagaing level of eye roll from any righty familiar with the "investigation" into Hillary's emails. Take care
Sixth, corrupting the Justice Department is harder than you think.
To be fair, after watching Loretta Lynch and Barack Obama cover for Hillary's misdeeds (and the President used her email too, so the cover-up had plenty of motivation) or the FISA waltz with Carter Page I don't think corrupting the Justice Department is that hard.
My goodness, it's almost midnight!
(I wouldn't have been up this late if I hadn't dozed off in the recliner, earlier. LOL!)

I personally know a woman that i've known for over a decade online and consistently had some personal communication with, met in real life at some get-togethers, etc, who works in California for the election office/s in a district in LA.
She has openly and repeatedly bragged about her department/office committing vote fraud/destroying vans/trucks full of trump votes during 2016, during other elections ensuring D votes are stacked and claims plenty of other offices in LA/California do the same. Utterly shameless admission and braggadocio about these acts. For years and years.

sbw, a year ago, maybe even a week ago, I would have agreed with you; not this morning. I've lost a good sized part of my store of optimism.
The Jim Acosta incident at the presser is the perfect illustration. Having watched it live, I would have thought no one could have come to any other conclusion besides the one Scott Adams articulated: Acosta was in the wrong. CNN would have him on probation that afternoon.
Acosta was "in POTUS's house," participating in a press conference that has long had the format that was being used, as long as I've watched them---the person conducting the conference was calling on reporters, who were able to ask one question after they were called on. (Everyone who did ask more than one asked permission to do so of POTUS and received it.) After asking multiple questions, being told he was done and another reporter having been called on, Acosta continued to ask (shout) questions.
The mic situation with the intern and his karate chop of her arm came in to play at this point.
I saw that.
A very rude quy, being belligerent, not following the format and refusing to comply. Who then whacked the young woman whose job it is to move the mic along when she attempted to do so.
I suspect if you watched, likely anyone reading this, would see exactly what I saw.
But that is not what others saw. Others saw DJT denying/refusing a reporter his right to question POTUS. They see POTUS as the one out of line.
They do not value authority, if I am recalling my Haidt correctly. (We hold three values in common w liberals, according to his work; conservatives hold three others strongly as well--loyalty, authority, something else too. Why there were "good people" in Charlottesville opposing the removal of statues, besides just the the KKK members.)
So, the "facts" of the presser---the same.
What we saw---very different.
I'll argue 'reality' is what I saw---out of line Jim Acosta.
Not only will they deny that, saying he was doing his job for the Fourth estate, they will argue that what they witnessed--exact same facts--showed dictator DJT in action. And a very principled, brave even, Jim Acosta.
Two 'realities.'
sbw, go back and read Scott Adams' old blog posts, from fall of 2015 on.
People not only voted for "the full commie" young gal Ortiz whatever who clearly has no concept of economics and capitalism to go to Congress in the face of a bad opposition candidate, they voted for the same in AZ and FL and GA in races for Senator and Governors! In nearly equal amounts to those who voted for the candidates who want to support our Constitution and our economic system, in the face of the best economic picture in decades.
Deeply divided.
Different values, which lead to different realities, even when the same facts can be agreed on.
Adams explains it by having both groups watch the identical images being shown on the same screen together, and seeing two different movies. That is exactly what happened on Wednesday at that presser.

Sbw, there’s your division:
People who read the above and think $280k a year is a fair reward for such a tireless and dedicated public servant, and probably she should be paid even more and maybe have a statue dedicated to her or at least a local street named for her
vs
people who read it and think she ought to be in prison for the rest of her life for election fraud, and that all her assets should be seized to repay the taxpayers for every dime she was ever paid, and if that doesn’t cover it, her children and grandchildren should have their assets seized and their wages garnished too until it’s all paid back.

Hoyden,
Cody was a Czech born GSD. He was a dual purpose (patrol/narcotics) k9. I was his 2nd handler. His first decided to go to a larger department. I had worked with Cody and his first handler as a decoy for his first year on the road. We then worked together for 7 years until he was forced to retire after being diagnosed with DM (degenerative myelopathy). He only lasted about 3 months after retirement.
The picture was taken the fourth day of searching for 3 inmates that escaped from ISP, July 2009 just prior to use searching a wooded area. That week temps were in the mid to upper 90’s with high humidity. The first day of searching I think I went through 6 gallons of water. Cody also went through several gallons.
Cody was a fantastic dog. He was social enough to allow children to pet him at demos. He was just great at knowing what attitude to have at the proper time. He was crazy intense at work, but acted just like a family pet when off duty at home. He’s been gone for six years and I still miss him. He was such an amazing animal.
