Still on the story that Cohen was in Prague in the summer of 2016: Lots of alternatives here, including spoofing and missing cell phones.
BONUS PARANOIA: Suppose Russian Intelligence decided to exploit Hillary's paranoia and opportunism by spoofing a meeting with Cohen, hoping to spark a Obama-approved investigation of his political opposition with resulting finger-pointing, division, and de-legitimization. Mission Accomplished!
If someone has a heart attack on a plane a podiatrist is quite a ways down in the emergency hierarchy.

They may be too stupid or dishonest to know socialism would make that impossible but we're not.

His comment was "The games they play during the season do make a difference."
Auburn won by 63 points!
The Purdue people left in the third quarter. The Auburn people left in the 4th quarter because it was so boring! LOL!

I like Catron’s writing as well, Ig. I guess I was a Cruz guy early on but as has been discussed here ad infinitum, he and every other R besides the Drumpf would have lost big to the utterly corrupt, fat-assed Hilligula. Thus, I’m forever in his debt.

So I’m prepping for dinner and turn back to the TV to see Bama give up a fumble on the goal line. Go back to my prep for a bit just to return to the game to see Bama on the goal line to score. I don’t think having Big Game Bob Stoops on the OU sideline is gonna help much tonight.

I have never understood why underdogs like OU would defer the kickoff to the 2nd half. They did and now they are living the effects. When I was playing, if our Captain did something like that Chuck Studley would not only kick him off the team but suspend his scholarship. It is a stupid move, and seems to be de rigiuer in both college and pro football. But why? Because you look harder, tougher, and winning on TV? BS.

Looks like an early night. Bama in charge. OU facing defense they have never seen in their lifetime as players. So, how many Bama-Tigers national championship games will this make? If I am a big time HS football player who wants to prepare for the NFL, why would I play for a team not in the South?
Yes, I know, the pros are from all the conferences and teams but most are from teams in the south. Better weather, and it measns more down in Florida, Georgia and Texas.

My vote for most effective POTUS would be University of North Carolina Chapel Hill Tarheel grad James Knox Polk. He accomplished all of his four goals (successful Oregon territory negotiations with Great Britain, lower tariffs, restructuring Treasury system that lasted until the Federal Reserve Act of 1913, and successfully end of the kerfuffle with Mexico over New Mexico and California. Then he didn't run for reelection and died. Talk about efficient use of time!

If someone has a heart attack on a plane a podiatrist is quite a ways down in the emergency hierarchy.
Just for info, the company has started installing emergency defibrillators on our planes but we haven't gone through training yet on how to use them. One of our boys a few years back who did have a huge pain in his chest during a flight, later diagnosed as a heart attack, reached in his bag and took aspirin which he said helped, so the word passed to us is to carry a bottle of aspirin that is immediately accessible. I'll let Anonamom tell us if that is legitimate "Old Wives Tale" pseudo-wisdom, or a placebo.
Posted by: daddy | December 29, 2018 at 09:38 PM

A gas station owner in Arkansas was trying to increase his sales, so he put up a sign that read:
*** "FREE SEX w/fill-up ... just guess the right number between 1 & 10.” ***
Soon a local redneck pulled in, filled his tank, and asked for his FREE SEX.
The owner told him to pick a number from 1 to 10. If he guessed correctly, he would get his FREE SEX.
The redneck guessed ‘8’. The proprietor said, "You were close. The number was ‘7’. Sorry, but no FREE SEX this time."
A week later, the same redneck, along w/his brother, Bubba, pulled in for another fill-up. Again he asked for his FREE SEX.
The proprietor again gave him the same story, and asked him to guess the correct number.
The redneck guessed ‘2’ this time.
The proprietor said, "Sorry, it was ‘3’. You were close, but no FREE SEX this time."
As they were driving away, the redneck said to his brother, "I think that game is rigged, and he doesn't really give away FREE SEX."
Bubba replied, "No. it ain't, Billy Ray. It ain't rigged. My wife won twice last week."
