If Washington is really committed to becoming a full time Snooki & Company DC Shore reality show, let's dial it up!
Obviously progressive It-girl Alexandra Ocasio-Cortez is too young to be Constitutionally eligible for the Presidency in 2020. So what?!? And some hidebound traditionalist states may have ballot rules for the Democratic primaries that require a primary candidate to be eligible for the office they seek - change the rules!
Democratic strategists should make a real push to get her on the primary ballots and give her a chance to accumulate delegates prior to the Democratic convention. That will let her be a formal power-player and ought to energize Democratic efforts to register and rally the youth vote, the way Barack and Bernie did and Hillary did not.
If the DC governing class doesn't want or expect to be taken seriously, then embrace the new reality. If they're just going to give us a show, give us a good one. Run AOC!
Felosi is making a tactical error with this tit for tat approach to the Donald. all she's going to get is pushback and embarassment.
her job is to get POTUS off his square. and the only way to do that is to negotiate.
someone should send Nancy the fable about the man in a trenchcoat on a cold day in Chicago. the wind and the sun make a bet as to which could force the man to take off his coat.
wind blows and blows. man just grips his coat and hunkers down. the sun takes over. comes out. beating down the man with heat. the coat comes off.
POTUS has self-interests relative to his position, Felosi. give to get. didn't your peawit daddy or whomever mentored you teach you anything?
flouncing about with a big gavel makes for a poor rendition of penis envy.

I just had a good chuckle.
About 7 years ago my oldest daughter went to the March for Life. Before she left I admonished her 'You'll be on the National Mall all day so you better dress warm. Double socks would be a good idea.'
She scoffed at me.
Froze her azz off.
A couple of days ago my 17 year old daughter was leaving for the March for Life. Before she left I admonished her 'You'll be on the National Mall all day so you better dress warm. Double socks would be a good idea.'
She scoffed at me.
She phoned her lil bro this afternoon and said she was dying, hadn't felt her feet since about 11 AM.
It's always nice to be right but it's awesome to be 'Dad Right'.
I'm really looking forward to picking her up in the morning and asking how things went.

JiB, I like salads too. As long as there is some protein in it.
Last year I mentioned to my Significant Other that I really liked Russian dressing and we hadn't had any forever.
Since she worries about my bowel movements a lot more than I do and is convinced that veggies are a key to doing that in an efficient manner she picked up a bottle of Russian dressing for me.
It's about 3/4 gone but there is nothing to worry about. There are more bottles of Russian dressing in the pantry.
I actually pulled her aside a couple of weeks ago, placed the upopened bottles on the kitchen counter and said 'Stop it.'
I like Russian but not that much. I'm stuck with Russian dressing until mid 2020 at this point.

More so than his opinions, which I often find implausible, I think it stems mostly from his tendency to punch in the teeth whoever just punched him, rather than ignoring it or being deferential.

"Come on Biff, are you gonna let that white trash humiliate you in front of all our friends?"

The right (here) hates the left as much as the left hates the right.--
I absolutely confess to this.
I do hate the left as much as they hate me just as I also hate Nazis just as much as they hate me.
The difference is they both are trying to destroy not only our constitutional republic but Western Civilization itself, both of which are good things. Very good things.
I am hated for trying to preserve those things and standing in their way of that destruction.
Some hate makes sense and is justified. Some is not.
Now, I don't hate them individually or personally. But I hate what they believe, what they do, what they are trying to do and their way of going about it.
Now you may say they say the same thing about me. Here's the problem; they are wrong and their aims are evil.
I am right and my aims are good.
Case. Closed.

The Cohen thing to me was BS from the get-go. If Cohen had this on Trump, why didn't he use it when he was agreeing to mouth whatever the Feds wanted him to say when he was squirming for his plea deal? When he was telling Steffi how sorry he was for being such a lying slime (all because of that big meanie Trump!) and he was never going to lie anymore. Why wasn't Lanny Davis telling us about it?
And now Mueller publicly refutes it. I would say "Hah!" but the Dems and the MSM will use it to "raise questions" nonetheless.

>>>And if that is true, it tells us things about other big campaign promises like repealing O'Care, draining the Swamp, Transforming our tax code permanently, and building a 2,000 mile wall.

I don't hate liberals. I hate the left, and the left aint liberal.
Whatever you want to call them, as I said, I don't think that hate translates into harassing their children, getting them fired from their jobs, kicking them out of restaurants, etc. So I have to disagree with Jane's assertion of symmetry or equivalence. There's no comparison.
