Cohen seems to be the sleaziest person connected to Trump. But then, if you're going to have a "fixer", I guess you need one willing to play by the rules of that game.
Trump notes that Shakespeare said, "Let's kill all the lawyers". Trump notes that "Shakespeare has got a great reputation, no one has ever seen anything like it, if you can't listen to Shakespeare you can't listen to anybody".
For a lawyer that taped his confidential client phone calls, Cohen sure spends time inventing dialog from elsewhere. If Trump said this crap all the time, it would be on tape. No transcript, Trump didn’t say it.
The U.S. economy is slowing but remains healthy, Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome H. Powell told senators Tuesday at his semiannual testimony before Congress. But he repeatedly urged lawmakers to address “unsustainable” debt and find ways to get more Americans working again.
"I had completely forgotten about Kashmir.
Talk about the proverbial "powder keg". Sort of odd that it has been off the world affairs radar and now pops up again."
It's long been said that if Israel ever fell, Muslims would turn their eyes to Kashmir. The list goes on, too. Al Andalus (Spain) will be a flash point once others resolve. Appeasement is not an option.
Sigh, not big on bringing posts fwd from the prev thread but I'll do it just this one time.
AFA notes that WalMart is choosing sides in the culture wars.
"In a move that most Christians probably never expected to see, retail giant Walmart has posted an online video that normalizes homosexual relationships.
For most Christians and other traditionalists, the idea that marriage is between a man and a woman is sacred. We've seen many large corporations reject that in their marketing, but I honestly never thought Walmart would join the cultural revolution and reject the beliefs of its customer base.
The ad is part of a campaign called "Love is in the aisle: A dating show at Walmart." Episode 2 features Pat and Andy, two homosexual men on a "blind date" as they meet at the store and shop together. Through this process they discover whether or not they are compatible.
Sign our petition to Walmart now, urging them to remove the pro-homosexual video and remain neutral on controversial issues."
So,the hateful Dems are letting Cohen spew a personal vendetta against Trump at taxpayer's expense. If India and/or Pakistan drop a nuke, the idiots in Washington won't notice.
While many probably know that Lanny Davis is a close confidant to the Clinton family, not many know that he is also an active registered foreign agent for a Putin-tied Ukrainian oligarch.

It's just about a foregone conclusion - the House can certainly say Cohen's word is good enough for them and impeach Trump on the high crime of meeting a stripper's extortion demands, then the Senate will fall about 20 votes short of removing Trump from office, then Trump can go on to get easily reelected with "surprising" strength from Hispanics and blacks. "You said you lied but you aren't a liar" "that makes you a liar" the @HouseGOP is doing an amazing job so far this hearing. They are destroying Michael Cohen.
Consumer confidence in the U.S. has rebounded to its highest level in 18 years, following an end to the longest-ever government shutdown. Yet the Conference Board index — which represents Americans’ views on present market conditions — also showed that buying plans for appliances, cars and homes declined, with home prices in 20 cities appreciating at the slowest pace in four years in December.
There are Russian players but they only show the face card, because the rest of the deck is mark, that has characterized the entire two year travismickasham

NYC actually had an election yesterday, for just one position: The entirely useless Public Advocate. To show how useless it is, DeBlasio was Public Advocate before getting elected Mayor.
There were 17 candidates: 16 Ds, one R. The NYT chose to endorse Jumaane Williams. Turns out Williams was arrested 10 years ago for "harassment and criminal mischief" after an argument with his girlfriend. From the NY story:
In an interview on Monday, Mr. Williams said the events leading up to the 2009 arrest began as an argument, but he did not recall what it was about. During the argument, Mr. Williams said that he threw his girlfriend’s purse on the floor and left the apartment to get food for both.
“I went to turn to leave and I tripped over a chair, the chair hit the wall and a snow globe fell from a half shelf,” he added. Mr. Williams said he did not intentionally damage the chair or the snow globe. He denied throwing anything at the woman.
I guess the geniuses at the NYT found this believable. Anyway, Jumaane won with 33%. The lone R got 19%.
So far this hearing is a big nothingburger.
It is interrupting the Young and the Restless soap opera on Channel 3 NBC.
They hardly ever interrupt this show.

Debbie Wasserman Schultz, who rigged the Democratic Party primary so only Hillary Clinton could win,
DWS should be spending the remainder of her life in prison, along with her corrupt jackass of a brother, for about a hundred different crimes.

y interest in Presidential offspring for high offices is nil, including DJT's.
Well, my interest in Presidental (or Congressional or Senatorial) offspring (or spouses or siblings) for high office is negative ten million so I’ve got you beat on this topic. CH.

Not watching, so have to ask: Did Jordan actually allow Cohen to speak? He's kind of the Sean Hannity of Congress. He's got a future on Fox News.
New career could be as a New York City cab driver.
Good point, does he still own the medallions? (Not that they're worth much any more.)

James,
One must be kind and generous lest they be carted off to prison.

I guess the geniuses at the NYT found this believable. Anyway, Jumaane won with 33%. The lone R got 19%.

I think Cohen’s father in law might have an interest in the medallions.
Either way, his life is over.
At least for the next 3 years.

There are a lot of thuggish violent people in public office.
Also many who practice verbal and physical abuse.

His father In law is a big time Ukrainian developer in Russia, I don't think it's a major concern, besides you see how they drive over there.

So far this hearing is a big nothingburger.
It is interrupting the Young and the Restless soap opera on Channel 3 NBC.
They hardly ever interrupt this show.
Just NBC trying to get the President.

I will be very happy when Cohen meets the new love of his life, Tyrone. He can even get Tyrone's name tattooed on his ass.
I am still completely shocked that Cohen has so blatantly broken the vow of attorney-client privilege.
To have a guy who is going to be doing time for lying to the same bunch of Congresscritters he lied to last time is really beyond belief.
This is really just a rehash of rehash of a rerun to throw red meat to the true believers.
