Jussie Smollett gets waved out and resumes proclaiming his innocence and outraging the mayor and chief of police. WTF is going on in Chi-town?
Some of the police reports were put out in response to a FOIA request, or leaked despite a judge's order, or something. (The FOIA request went in after the judge's order so I wonder if the respondent followed the letter of the FOIA protocol strictly or used it as a cover for a document dump. Given the police outrage the latter would not surprise me.)
The Captain has more, including a reminder that there is still a Federal mail fraud case linger over Smollett.
Go Feds go!

BREAKING: DOJ insiders have reportedly revealed that Robert Mueller and his Special Counsel team concluded in August 2018, months before the midterm elections, that there was no proof linking Donald Trump or his campaign to colluding with Russians during the presidential election
That is collusion with the Dems. Nothing is fair and equitable when a career government employee is in the mix.

The Chicago LEO caller to Rush yesterday was certain that the whole thing was done as a favor to Jussie and Rush kept asking what Jussie possess that would give him the leverage to ask for such a favor. They both were stumped.

We also don't know what the verbal instruction from Rosenstein was... Mueller could have spent the next 9 months chasing whatever ghosts those were, the lack of indictments suggest they weren't found.

Finally got a chance to watch JiB's MITO video.
In answer to JM's question a fully loaded BUFF is around 500,000 pounds. A C-5 is almost twice that.
That was a drill so those planes took off from the regular flight line. There is a much more secure area known as the Alert Pad where the nuclear loaded planes are kept. In a real world situation the interval between the planes would be about half what they were doing since there's about 15 minutes between warning and becoming ground zero in a real attack.

What I want to know is where that story that Mueller knew about the whole thing being a hoax originated. I know True Pundit had anonymous sources.
Well, who are they? Is it true? Is it a planted story to cause people to doubt Mueller? Is it a planted story to make dems think he is on their side?
This is the problem with unnamed sources. Who are Andy McCarthy's sources? It's the same thing.
If Mueller deliberately held the results back to help the dems, I believe that is a crime. If this is a fake story, we need to know.
I tell you, following a lot of this stuff is like swimming through fog.

Last bit of useless info;
All the white smoke when the engines started is from a cartridge start. Normally huge mobile gas turbine air compressors are used to get the engines rotating but they take too long in an emergency.
Instead cartridges about the size of a large coffee can full of black powder are installed in their port on the engine and the expanding gases from their combustion begin the engine rotation.
Once had a guy get his leg shattered by an incorrectly installed cartridge that shot through the engine cover and bounced down the flight line about a quarter miles before hitting him.

And how could the story not be true? We all knew it from the get go, and everything that came out over the first year of the investigation confirmed it. If Mueller didn't "know" he was being deliberately obtuse.
