I'm not at all convinced that declassifying every last word will preempt the left. It will just give them endless fodder that can be sucked out of context and used to construct a gazillion new conspiracy theories with which to plague the White House -- and the MSM will just eat every bit of it up.
I also agree with the policy which disallows publishing material about people who have not been charged with crimes. We have no idea how many lives and reputations could be smeared and/or destroyed simply because they were interviewed or suspected of wrong doing by zealous, partisan FBI agents.

I brought this over from the last thread - which is quite arrogant when you think about it!
My theory is this entire Russian collusion thing, as well as all the other BS the left has been up to, is all an attempt, so far successful, to divert attention for how the entire government has been weaponized by the left.
We know about tons of corruption at the FBI, DOJ, State Dept and nothing has been done because we are so busy with Russia. And my guess is most of elected dems are also part of it.
So the scramble is on. Dems must keep everyone busy so we have no time to reveal how they are successfully stealing our country.

I am behind, too! The meetup was wonderful. We missed peter and TM, but hope to catch them next time. Everyone was so interesting and kind.
I especially appreciate Extraneus and Mrs. Extraneus traveling for the occasion and setting us up at the Library Hotel, which worked out great. Mr Porch was blown away and said afterwards "we gotta do this JOM meet up thing more often." :)
And then we came back to the hotel to find that while we were talking and enjoying ourselves, Muellermas was raging. We tuned in to Maddow who had obviously been crying. Lol, what a treat. Wish we had more time to invest in all the gloatenfreude.

I don’t think anyone who is informed on US history and keeps abreast of current events would disagree with you on that. A lot of us here have known about this for a long time now. The roots go back to the 1950s when McCarthy knew there were traitors with allegiance to the Soviets who had infiltrated the Federal government. What we are suffering from now is the aftereffect of allowing them to remain in place for so long.
We now have a POTUS who appears to have a complex, long term strategic plan in place to defeat those enemies of America. I like referring to such a strategic plan as 4D Chess because it will take an extraordinary effort that incorporates all facets of information warfare to defeat them. To pull it off you need someone who is a grandmaster at strategic thinking.

There was a lot of wrongdoing found but none of it was mentioned in the summary, which enabled Schoooooomer to preen for the cameras with his retard glasses and crow "nothing to see here". Whoever commenting here who did a deep dive into the body of the report found plenty of findings. Whether this disconnect was 4D or evidence of how little Sleepy Jeff did to drain the swamp is still unknown.

Those investigations were not in Mueller's purview. In fact, I expect his report will emphasize the "narrow scape" of his investigation. which will give the Dems plenty of maneuvering room.

If we should ever wonder how we got to where half the country sincerely believes Trump should be impeached for being Russian agent, Freidrich Hayek explained in a chapter "Why the worst get on top" in "The Road to Serfdom."
The "group which is... to impose by force upon the rest of the people" includes Democrats, journalists, bent FBI agents, leftover Obama DOJ appointees, and other SJWs. "The good of the whole" demands that extraordinary measures be taken, which puts a premium on the type of people who are willing to take them. Intelligence and honesty are useless qualities when the goal is Social Justice, since Social Justice must eventually be imposed.
So, there's a market. Buyers in the market are players like Soros, Steyer, and Hillary with her Clinton Foundation. When the buyers contribute to their causes they are not buying integrity -- at least, not integrity in the traditional sense. The integrity they hope to attract is a sense of loyalty to Social Justice causes.
By the time any of them figure out that Social Justice issues are contrived, meaningless issues, it's too late. They've grown comfortable. There's too much to lose. They are unwilling to give up the luxurious lifestyle, and Social Justice becomes only the pretense with the real goal being just to hang in there.
We're there. In the newsrooms and in the corridors of power, they know that Social Justice is horse shit. But they have no choice but to soldier on in the name of Social Justice. Their livelihoods, maybe even their very lives, depend on it.
We're fortunate that America is still a country of markets. In countries where there are no markets to speak of, resorting to force to establish Social Justice happens early on in the process in the form of a military coup. Here in market oriented America, a military takeover is out of the question. Instead, you might say that we've reached the bursting point of a Social Justice market bubble.
The question is whether or not we will ever be back here again in a future market swing. Unless the Social Justice players pay a heavy price for the criminality that arose from their misplaced loyalties, we might be back here sooner than you think.

Thanks. I don’t think I’d be helpful either since I haven’t had any significant issues so I haven’t had to explore solutions. I post using my iPhone 99.9% of the time and get logged off maybe every couple of weeks or so. Now that I’ve posted that I know I’ll be sent to typhuspad limbo. :)

peter, I used Google Maps driving around Europe last summer. It was pretty helpful, though it did lead us astray once. Well, more like I was confused about exactly where we were going, and ended on a steep downhill street that was more like an alley, about 5 feet wide, that I ended up having to back out of, almost losing the side view mirror. Streets in old Europe are always tough to navigate cause they weren't really made for cars.
