My wife was a journalist and, although she's reasonably intelligent, when she told me about her curriculum for her undergraduate degree at Bowling Green (which she considered a terrible school and refused to back down from it when other BGSU grads exhibited surprise) I couldn't believe how lacking in academic rigor it was.
