Buckeye,
I don't know about Belgium but here in Florida, a licensed driver over 21 has to be with him at all times. He can only drive in daylight hours. When 16 it goes from 6am to 11pm but with a licensed driver over 21. At 17 it is unrestricted. So, in the 3 days since he got his permit he has 3 hours of supervised driving under his belt. Drove down to Flagler Beach twice on A1A where they are busy doing dunes restoration. Very narrow lane restriction but also a 25 mph limit.
He didn't want to do the I-95 to I-4 to State 417 to State 528 to MCO yesterday, and I don't blame him.

I admit that I like Lindsay Graham v. 2.0 since he was able to escape the grip of McCain's sphincter upon his Master's death, but I think Graham will be haunted by this as he now calls for investigations into the Russia hoax:

Glenn Greenwald was on Tucker Carlson last night, mostly making sense. He's been out front on the collusion delusion. He and Taibbi are justifying their position to their fellow lefties by comparing the deep state Russian fakeout to their perception of the WMD fakeout. That part isn't persuasive to me, but I appreciate that they've stuck their necks out because it certainly isn't advancing their careers. Greenwald had a great tweet yesterday (I think) where he praised the righty journos who did the heavy digging on Russiagate.
Posted by: Porchlight | March 26, 2019 at 09:05 AM
And yes it's weird to be on the same side as Greenwald. The Trump timeline never ceases to amaze.

Driving in Florida can be challenging. Heavy traffic and then some 90 year old lady who can barely see over the steering wheel in the right lane doing 45.

A. Never doubt they can tie anything to Trump. It's all his fault, even the butterfly that was crushed on the other side of the planet.
B. Never forget: Avenatti is team Clinton. He worked for Rahm Emanuel as an oppo researcher for the Clintons on the 90's before he got a law degree. Not just some random, bigmouth West Coast lawyer who decided to make a name for himself by challenging Trump.

A Ukraine primer:
Ok, here is a good article to start with. What is really ironic/maddening is look at the date this article was published, 1//11/17. This article came out after the election but before Trump was even sworn in. Not long before Gen. Flynn "lied" to the FBI.
https://politi.co/2gNiZwu
And this one is fantastic. A virtual link-a-palooza.
https://bit.ly/2LOwOse
Look at all the players who show up like Christopher Steele, Victoria Nuland, the previous Ukraine ambassador, Joe Biden, etc.
And then there is John frigging McCain. He was up to his ass in this thing in his position as Shadow President. Poroshenko was the guy the US installed as president and the guy who spoke at McCain's funeral. How random.

Good Morning! Just caught up,we had visitors from Maine, others to arrive this week-end. Yes,what a week so far! Yes,the traffic/driving here is challenging. The brand new Atlanta Braves spring training stadium near us opened over the week-end. The game on Sunday was the inaugural event and the traffic was on US 41 was awful. The police directed traffic after the game, but sadly a horrific accident happened. A 20 year old woman, either drunk or texting, blew thru the police road block and crashed into a car killing an 80 year old couple. We were sitting on the lanai with our friends, heard the sirens and saw the helicopters overhead leaving the scene. The stadium has been a big deal here and the accident ruined the excitement of the day. Very sad.

I’m looking forward to knowing the full story on Felix Sater. The facts we do know already is that he was a FBI informant against the mob under the control of Loretta Lynch when she was at SDNY. We also know he sent an email to Michael Cohen that was fairly damning and suggested collusion (at least the attempt at collusion) between Trump and Putin. The dot connecting at the time suggested Sater was still under the control of the corrupt FBI and sent that email to entrap Cohen and allow the Feds to go after Trump.
The facts have changed since then and now we know Trump was a FBI informant himself for 40+ years. Did Trump and Mueller work together in the past to take down the mob? What was the nature of their relationship? When Trump and Mueller met with each other the day prior to Mueller getting appointed as SC, was their past workimg together discussed? Perhaps Mueller was selected to be the SC because Trump trusted him due to their past efforts working together?

A Saga Continues:
Brad heads down to the docks, towards a beautiful vessel. "Maybe this won't be so bad," he thinks.
The hull gleaming in fresh white paint, the flags flying on the mast, the polished woodwork - the vessel is truly beautiful. "Can I help you?" a crewmen asks when he boards.
"Yes, I'm here for the job."
"What job?"
"This is the SS Bulwark, right?"
"No, this is the Crystal Princess, the Bulwark's that way."
***
Fu Manchu watches the tv in the restaurant bar in growing disbelief. "No charges, no nothing? They started an investigation on complete baloney and expected that Golden Scalp Weasel would just fall into their laps without real work? Are they insane? Why can't they handle a simple coup, they are the CIA!" Fu pauses in his rant. "Oh wait - I think I see the problem now..."
***
Back down at the docks Brad looks over the Bulwark. "Just my luck."
He carefully walks up the rickety gangplank and glances about the unkempt deck. 'Hello? Anyone here?"
"AHOY!"
The shout causes him to jump and spin around before noticing a chubby short man sporting a yachting cap. "Um - ahoy to you too. I'm here for the job."
"Great! Could use another hand right now, what with Jonah being off at fat camp. We got to get the Bulwark ready for its first cruise of paying customers. You know how to cook?"
"I was a dishwasher in a Chinese restaurant."
"Close enough for our purposes, you can help Egg in the galley?"
"Egg?"
"Egg McMuffin, former Tru-Conservative presidential candidate and all-around ship's lackey. Hey, Charlie! Show this youngster to the galley."
"First Mate Charlie," the man in the Cracker Jack outfit says, "Of the good ship Bulwark. Follow me."
He leads Brad past other characters - a pompous windbag reciting baseball statistics, a woman who twitches and slaps at her arms, yelling about bugs - and into the superstructure. The kitchen is where they stop, the first mate saying "Good Luck kid - death to the Golden Scalp Weasel," before leaving.
"Are you here to h-h-help?"
Brad looks at the ovoid-skulled man next to the fry grill and guesses "You must be Egg McMuffin."
"Y-y-yes. Are you here to h-h-help?"
"Yeah, I was just hired. Anything wrong?"
"Nothing. Everything. You aren't going to cook me, are you?"
Brad backs away. "No..?"
"They wanted to. When the Sea Cuck sank. We were in the raft, they said they wanted to eat me."
"Maybe I should leave."
A blattering, coughing horn sounds.
"Too late, we're sailing."
"Sailing? This wreck? I thought it was stuck on the bottom!"
"No, it f-f-f-floats, Got a billionaire to sponsor the cruise for the s-s-s-sucker conservatives. It's all about the money. And the cocktails. Hope you can c-c-c-cook or they might eat you."
Brad looks with horror around the dingy, dirty galley. "Getting the Lumina fixed is so not worth this." He turns to Egg. "Don't just stand there, start cleaning this place! I'll find some food!"
To be continued...

Your Ukraine primer links reinforce the point I made yesterday that Mueller’s main focus was always uncovering foreign lobbying and the real foreign interference in US elections.
What I believe happened is that while under the official guise of investigating collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia, Mueller was also collecting evidence of Ukraine’s collusion with the Democrats and neocons (McCain). Keep in mind the leaders of Ukraine are all puppets of George Soros. Just like he turned over to SDNY the evidence of criminal activity by Podesta, Craig and Weber, IMO Mueller also turned over evidence of all Ukrainian collusion with the Democrats to the DOJ.

Absolutely.
What's so horrible about this law (and garbage like GDPR) is that once it's in place in Europe, it becomes far more likely we'll see something similar (or worse, considering the caliber of people who write our laws) here.
Or, worse still, a patchwork of state laws that make it impossible for anyone but the largest companies to conduct business, or provide any sort of forum for free speech, on the Internet.

It seems more likely, after watching the chaos of shouted questions at the end that the reporters attached an answer to whichever question they preferred.

TK quotes Surber: "Sater is loyal to Trump. Which Jerry Nadler may have just discovered -- and why it's unlikely we will ever see Felix water testify, in front of his tinpot Home of Representatives 'enquiry'."
Wasn't Sater's appt to testify to the House cancelled, like, yesterday?

TK,
If that is the conclusion your confirmation bias forces you to take then I guess we finished,
I knew Trump saying that Mueller acted honorably wouldn’t go over well with a lot of folks here.

Jim,
Yes, Sater's scheduled testimony was cancelled. I remembered that when I read Surber's column, but forgot to mention it because I got sidetracked with my other hobby, laundry.

Indeed it was, Jim.

Maybe that's what Nancy was saying to Jerry:
"Cancel Sater's subpoena. He's not on our side." LOL

Driving in Florida can be challenging. Heavy traffic and then some 90 year old lady who can barely see over the steering wheel in the right lane doing 45.
Bad combo:)
Buckeye, you forgot the tourists, who don't know where they are going.
Near fatal combo (for my MIL, three years ago).
HATE driving there. Only place we've ever been rear ended on the highway! "Just keep driving" I urged. The guy who did it was one of those 90 year olds peering over the steering wheel--had no interest in getting in to it with him.
Don't tell gentlejim on me.
