Stephanie--I sent a friend request to your personal FB account, to be able to access JOM account-----initials B M.

I don't have a friend request from anyone with the initials of B M. Can you send it again? Thanks!

Stephanie Nene Not Your Normal Granma

AOC goes into a coffee shop and notices that there is a peel and win sticker on her coffee cup.

So she peels it off and starts screaming “I won a motor home. I won a motor home.”

The waitress says, “That’s impossible. The biggest prize is a free lunch.”

But AOC keeps on screaming “I won a motor home! I won a motor home!.”

Finally, the Manager comes over and says, “I’m sorry, but you are mistaken. You couldn’t have possibly won a motorhome; because, we didn’t have that as a prize.”

AOC says, “NO. It’s not a mistake, I’ve won a motor home!”

She hands the ticket to the Manager and HE reads…
“W I N A B A G E L”

Gentlejim

No FB friend requests from someone named BM... sounds shitty.

I will apologize for the weakness of the attempted joke, but will not denounce myself.

Stephanie Nene Not Your Normal Granma

Trump, re: Beto: "Well, I think he’s got a lot of hand movement. Is he crazy or is that just how he acts?"

There are multiple other FB people with your first and last name and at least one of them has the same three names, Stephanie. Maybe BanonamoM hit up the wrong one?

maryrose, I think it's speculation at this point but Weissmann and Mueller asked Barr last week to continue the cooperation agreement that they had with General Flynn, leading to a new indictment. Barr said no and Weissmann resigns and/or is fired?

Might have, Dave.

These idiot Republican Senators voting against Trump's emergency declaration are claiming to "vote for the Constitution," as if the National Emergencies Act, in place for 40 years and enacted over 50 times, is suddenly unconstitutional.

Utah must be proud.

Captain Hate

The GOP, to put it charitably, is a joke and disgrace.

So they offered Trump a compromise, they would vote with the President on this national emergency but wanted promises he would not declare future national emergencies!

I mean.....

I'm listening to this guy Ryan Dawson talk about CIA and what you might call Deep State operations. He refers to the curious connection between the supposedly botched anthrax investigation and the 9/11 hijackers.

The reporter that was killed with anthrax in Florida worked for an editor whose wife was the real estate agent for several of the hijackers.

I was also curious about the guy who destroyed the sample. It's pretty amazing what these people who work for Mueller get away with.

MissMarple2

Pinandpuller,

The more we learn about the FBI, the more people will be in the camp that Catain Hate and I are in.

It involves arrests, massive layoffs, and a bulldozer.

MissMarple2

This thread shows that Mark Meadows and Jim Jordan sent a letter to AG Batt on March 1 of this year requesting some information about Weissman and another guy.

https://twitter.com/PoliticalShort/status/1102198652636971009

I think Barr may have fired Weissman, or at least pulled him from the SC and reassigned him.

Narciso

Well the fellow who processed the samples is an Egyptian born brit, I got that from Edward Epstein.

MissMarple2

Typo. That should be AG Barr.

lyle

A big 👊 to KK @ 12:27.

D

Just think they could have had a deal if they had reworded it to say.
No future emergency declarations unless you consult with the Republican Senators first. Even then he could if they didn’t agree still go ahead and declare one.
Missed opportunity on his part.

Pinandpuller

Pin, what's up with posting that?

Posted by: anonamom | March 14, 2019 at 05:06 AM

I went off too soon. The trouble is it's believable.

D

I hope Weissman has been fired by Barr.
He needs a dose of his own medicine.
Hoisted on his own petard.

Buckeye

Some of us are watching Republican Senators very closely.

That means you Rob Portman.

Extraneus

I think it's a missed opportunity on the part of the senators who will now go down as voting against border security. Trump's veto won't make them any more popular, but it gives him bragging rights.

"I had to overrule the Congress in order to protect the country."

Those people are fools for trying to overrule the president on something like this, which is an obvious national emergency to anyone who cares, and much more obvious than the other 57 declared emergencies that never saw a whiff of resistance.

D

GOP a joke and disgrace.
So the other 48 Repub senators are just chump change?
Too broad a brush for me.
President Trump needs to head up to Capitol Hill and rally his troops.
Instead he sends Pence to do the grunt work.
Win these Senators over with his famous Art of the Deal tactics.
Future advice for him.

and much more obvious than the other 57 declared emergencies that never saw a whiff of resistance.

No one can even name them (other than 9/11). That's how emergency they were.

Trump isn't going begging.

Captain Hate

Fuck Portman. I didn't vote for him last time and that won't change.

Tom R

I think Barr may have fired Weissman, or at least pulled him from the SC and reassigned him.

Like Bruce Ohr I think Weismann is a federal civil servant. Hard as hell to fire so most likely if Barr is punishing Weissman he got demoted like Ohr did. There is also the possibility his task on the SC is complete and he is just moving back to his previous job in the DOJ.

Old Lurker

Maryrose, honest I am not trying to jump on every phrase, but even this bugs me "He gave up a lot but he has the power of the presidency in exchange for all that."

That sentence diagrammed implies he gave up a lot personally but received something of comparable personal value in return.

Q In your role as a counterintelligence expert, is an extramarital affair--and I mean that in its truest sense, not known by the spouse--is that a situation, a scenario, that makes the person committing or involved in the affair vulnerable to potential recruitment by a hostile intelligence service?

A Yeah, I don't think I would characterize it that way. I think it is not so much any particular action as it is the way the action might be used to coerce or otherwise get somebody to do something. I can tell you in no way would that extramarital affair have any power in coercing me to do anything other than obeying the law and doing an honest, competent investigation.

I don’t wear rose-colored glasses when it comes to President Trump.
He gambled big on winning the presidential race.
The amount of power he now posesses as leader of the free world far surpasses his power in his business deals and his New York empire.
He turned over his businesses to his children in exchange for his current position. He likes power and prestige. Now he has it.

I still say this was a revenge plot by Obama and Hillary to destroy Trump, whether he won the nomination or not. They intended to destroy him, his business, and his family as a Lesson to Us All.

Remember, everyone thought Jeb was going to be the GOP nominee. So why start spying on Trump this early? Answer: revenge, as I said.

They treated him as a joke until he started winning primaries. Then they ramped this up.

Old Lurker

Pretty funny that we are suggesting that Trump gained SO MUCH POWER that he can't get an emergency declared when his predecessors got 57 of less import. And every name in his rolodex has document demands pending and lawyers on retainers. And every relative is an active target for jail time. And every action he has taken is tied up in one court or another.

Yesiree. That's real power.

MissMarple2

maryrose,

Do you think that Trump thought being president was simply in order to get power? What is wrong with you?

He did it for the country. It should be obvious now that he was the only one who could win and he knew it. He also is fixing things and gets great satisfaction out of doing so.

Mitt Romney would have been a terrible SOS, and I am quite glad he got called in for an interview and then dneid the position. He was a vocal Nevertrumper and I am sick of his constant posing as the only virtuous person in the room.
