Keep your reading glasses handy! The 400 page Mueller report is due at, presumably with the 9:30 AM (Eastern) press conference.
The only certainty: in those 400 pages there will be material that inspires the "Impeach Now!" crowd as well as material that enrages those who want the senior FBI and DoJ leadership who instigated and this investigation locked up.
The first casualty of 24/7 media (and Twitter) is context.
If you guys can get hold of the Rudy Guliani interview with Laura Ingraham, it is well worth listening to. His level of outrage at the democrats, Mueller, and others is wonderful.

Any predictions as to which of the coup principals flips first? I've narrowed it down to McCabe, Page or Baker.
I'll go with Page, if she has a drop of estrogen left in her---she is a momma, after all.
Page has already flipped to Horowitz, Huber or whoever; which is why she was permitted to retire and not get fired.

I don't see how anyone can view Mueller as a good guy after that stink bomb of a Report.
I certainly don't.
If he actually were a good guy, he would have written a report that left the Democrats and MSM no ammunition whatsoever to continue to harp on. He could have, and should have, because there WERE no crimes. And Mueller's been around DC his whole career - he knows EXACTLY how these thing work.
He's still a black hat, and a traitor, and he still ought to hang along with everyone else on his team and 95% of the employees at DoJ (a conservative estimate).

WSJ this morning (online):
Robert Mueller’s long-awaited report is unambiguously clear on this point: Russia interfered in the 2016 presidential election and sought to help Donald Trump win the White House.

Captain Hate,
I agree. Putin would have been more comfortable with Hillary. She was going to be a continuation of Obama's policies, which were fairly pro-Russian. He knew her and he did NOT know Trump. It makes no sense.
This morning Sara Carter and Brian Kilmeade point out a portion of the report where Vladimir Putin is quoted as being "worried that he didn't know enough about Trump after he won!" That does not a quote from a guy who was working to get Trump elected.

I don't see how anyone can view Mueller as a good guy after that stink bomb of a Report.
His exoneration of Trump would be the starting point. The 12 redacted criminal referrals move the needle in that direction as well.

henry,
I think the FBI needs to at least be reformed and reorganized. I still cannot get over those 302's and that no interviews were recorded. That gives way too much room for "interpretation" if not outright fabrication of witness testimony.

His exoneration of Trump would be the starting point. The 12 redacted criminal referrals move the needle in that direction as well.
Then why did he write a report that he had to know would give cover to the Dems/MSM efforts to tear down President Trump?
Why can we not have anyone in DC do something clearly and unambiguously RIGHT, without any weasel words or ass covering, or obfuscation or equivocation? Mueller had every chance to do that, and at every chance, he refused.
Fuck him, and fuck everyone on his team.

If you are my age you remember how the FBI had a secret police vibe from Hoover's day, one which they only lost when Hoover died and they made that TV series with Efram Zimbalist, Jr.
Well, the PR effort of the last few decades has now been destroyed. Now it is obvious that they will entrap people, mislead them, twist evidence, and even manufacture it. What chance does an average citizen have against them?

What cover are you referring to? All I have seen so far are Democrats and the MSM in meltdown mode and making fools of themselves. Do you seriously think any of that hurts Trump in any manner? I’m perfectly fine with those idiots pushing impeachment for obstruction of justice all the way up to the 2020 election.

MM "Tom R., You need to hear Rudy Guliani's opinion before you come to a final conclusion."
THAT will never happen with Tom or RG. To be fair to them both, neither will I ever see Mueller and Rosenstein both with very black hats. Mueller's is blackest because he knew exactly which side he was playing for, and Rosenstein because he was happy to sell his "competent colonel" skills to whichever power he thought would prevail, but he guessed wrong. And no, neither the "Happy Ending" Barr gave him in the intro yesterday, nor the lingering fact that Trump kept him around changes my mind about him.

Kimberley Strassel's comment:
"The report instead mostly reads as a lengthy defense of the FBI—of its shaky claims about how its investigation began, of its far-fetched theories, of its procedures, even of its leadership."
Reminded me of the defense attorney who, some time ago (but commenting about Mueller and the Trump investigation) said that he was attending a conference (FBI/DOJ and appellants lawyers) and when Mueller came in he stated that any criticism of the FBI is a nonstarter.

TomR, you’re like that Ronald Reagan joke about the kid gleefully wading through horseshit, convinced that it only means there must be a pony under it all somewhere.
Trump was “exonerated” of the “Russian Collusion”. (Probably because pursuing the whole “dossier” nonsense points at the “wrong” people.) That’s all. Mueller left lots of obstruction hints, that dems are jumping into with both feet as the next front opened in their attacks. From his demonstrated history of indictments, there’s no reason to assume Mueller’s referrals get to the heart of anything, or even target the correct side.
Strzok, Page, McCabe, Steele, Simpson, the Ohrs et al. are the cannon fodder in all this. Indicting them won’t matter.

And Mueller (correctly?) put it in prosecutor-speak. Never saying “collusion did not happen”, but “we found no evidence of collusion”. This is already being ignored by progs who simply point at Mueller’s nicely documented evidence of “Trump people’s contacts with Russians”.
Posted by: Another Bob | April 19, 2019 at 08:42 AM

Another Bob,
All of those obstruction hints were public knowledge that we’ve known about for a long time. So what? The Democrats have been falsely accusing Trump of obstruction of justice for a long time. How do you think it would have gone over if Mueller did not conduct a thorough investigation into those false allegations? Has anyone here changed their mind and now believe Trump may be guilty of obstruction of justice thanks to what you read in Muellers report? Raise your hand and tell us why. My guess is nothing in that report changed anyone’s mind on the obstruction of justice charge.

The facts about Sessions indicate he was also a target of the Obama criminal cabal and since he was under formal investigation by the FBI he was legally bound to recuse himself. We also know he offered his resignation to Trump on multiple occasions but Trump refused it.
I will add an opinion that Sessions was likely the most honorable man of integrity to serve in the Senate since I have been following politics. I his time as AG he was extremely successful in promoting the MAGA agenda.

MJW:
You have it correct wrt Arthur Anderson case.
I believe both were written by Weissman because of the similarities and the desire to paint the worst possible picture of President Trump.
Both he and Mueller knew they couldn’t get President Trump on anything and so offered up this poor excuse for a summary .
Both have been defeated in their quest to marginalize our President and harm his family.
It truly is a victory for him and for us who duly elected him.
We must now move quickly to nail these suckers who dared to overturn an election because their rotten candidate Hillary didn’t win.
