Sol Weisenberg just said it best on F&F. You can’t hold an AG in contempt for refusing to commit a crime and disclose grand jury material. Nadler’s subpoena is an inducement to commit a crime. It’s an unconstitutional assertion of Pelosi’s theory of a superior Legislative branch.

It’s amazing how Dems have corrupted much of the media. They buy this constitutional crisis and don’t point out there is a reasonable case for Legislative abuse. 6 investigations, broad requests for documents and witnesses ,threats of imprisonment, compromised biased chairmen.
I keep coming across that Joe Biden clip on China, and every time I hear it I wonder what on earth he even means by this:
They can't even figure out how to deal with, they, the fact that they have this great division between the China Sea and the mountains in the east, I mean the west.
Aside from the condescension, does anybody have any idea what the reference here is supposed to be?
When you can't pass laws prohibiting dollar stores, you can put in an express bus system right smack dab down the center of a commuter street and commercial area and then PROHIBIT LEFT TURNS ACROSS THE CENTER LANE. And then, seeing that is a problem, at certain select intersections you will allow special U-TURN LANES.
This is so that people can commute downtown (which most won't do) or that college kids can ride up to the nightclub area in the northeast.
No one talked to the business people. No one knows about this left-turn ban except the few of us who got to the obscure web site explaining it.
Boy, I sure wish Janet were still here to share her opinions of these fraudulent schemes. If I see that the buses are from that Chinese/Iranian bus company which Warren Buffett has a 27% stake in, I will go ballistic.

from way back in the thread re the student loan nonsense:
$57,500 for undergraduates—No more than $23,000 of this amount may be in subsidized loans. $138,500 for graduate or professional students—No more than $65,500 of this amount may be in subsidized loans. The graduate aggregate limit includes all federal loans received for undergraduate study."
how are traditional-aged college students, who now average 7 years to get a baccaluareate, securing private loans or education with zero collateral?
back in 90s Vermont, with average debt load of undergrads needing six years to graduate, the typical loan burden for out-of-staters was $80K.
That was in the 90s. Who was collateralizing the private loans being award to families?
to what extent is the "student loan" crisis actually a mini-mortgage crisis? which banks are the biggest ducks in that puddle?

RE: Biden's mental state. I have concluded that the dems can be divided into two camps. The older ones seem to be slipping into senility but have no awareness of when it's time to move along and enjoy their last years. Ex: Pelosi, Biden, Feinstein, RB Ginsburg, Clinton, and more. Think of the clips we've seen of each of them slurring words, making no sense, freezing for seconds on camera, physically stumbling, falling, and so forth. This is in addition to their policy ideas insane schemes.
Then, on the other side of the age gap - we have the young ones. They are spouting such off the wall, wacky plans that some of their supporters are even embarrassed. In that category, we have of course AOC, Abrams, Omar, Tlaib, and almost the entire slate of 2020 Presidential hopefuls (except Biden who is in group #1.)
If they were so wicked and evil and trying to overthrow our country one could almost feel sorry... but nope.
I can't think of any dem on the national scene that doesn't fit one of these categories.
There’s plenty of evidence that he’s always been deficient.

On Thursday Democrat Speaker Nancy Pelosi gave opening prayer duties to Imam Omar Suleiman.
Linda Sarsour praised Pelosi for the choice.
Via Blitz and Religion of Peace:
On social issues, Suleiman’s conservative religious views stand in sharp contrast to the progressive ideas championed by most members of the House Democratic Caucus. The Middle East Forum put together several examples in a 2017 video. Two indicate a sexist attitude.
Warning girls about the dangers of promiscuity, Suleiman compared Allah to an over-protective father.
“And Allah doesn’t just own 20 guns. Allah owns hellfire,” he said. “So you’d better be careful. You’re overstepping your bounds. Sisters … you know what happens with a really jealous Dad? He kills you and he kills the guy. So you are offending Allah … whenever you make yourself promiscuous or whenever you open yourself up to a relationship.”
In addition, boys and girls cannot be friends because of ever-present sexual temptation.
“See all the guys know it. You guys know this. Right? You can make this up and you can try to fool yourself or fool someone else. But girls, trust me. We’re men. We’re not going to lie to you. Guys and girls cannot be friends, unless you guys have been neutered … you cannot be friends.”
Suleiman compared gays and lesbians to people who engage in incest and bestiality. They deserve to be treated well even though they engage in “an act of sexual deviance,” he said.
(He doesn't really believe that last part, since they offend Allah and therefore should be thrown from roofs.)

We are right where we want to be with China. Remember, they broke the deal with us & tried to renegotiate. We will be taking in Tens of Billions of Dollars in Tariffs from China. Buyers of product can make it themselves in the USA (ideal), or buy it from non-Tariffed countries...
....We will then spend (match or better) the money that China may no longer be spending with our Great Patriot Farmers (Agriculture), which is a small percentage of total Tariffs received, and distribute the food to starving people in nations around the world! GREAT! #MAGA

The Democrats new and pathetically untrue sound bite is that we are in a “Constitutional Crisis.” They and their partner, the Fake News Media, are all told to say this as loud and as often as possible. They are a sad JOKE! We may have the strongest Economy in our history, best...
....employment numbers ever, low taxes & regulations, a rebuilt military & V.A., many great new judges, & so much more. But we have had a giant SCAM perpetrated upon our nation, a Witch Hunt, a Treasonous Hoax. That is the Constitutional Crisis & hopefully guilty people will pay!
Sarah was in the fertilized egg business.
She had several hundred Young pullets and ten roosters to fertilize the eggs.
She kept records and any rooster not performing went into the soup pot and was replaced.
This took a lot of time, so she bought some tiny bells and attached them to her roosters. Each bell had a different tone, so she could tell from a distance which rooster was performing. Now, she could sit on the porch and fill out an efficiency report by just listening to the bells.
Sarah's favourite rooster, old Butch, was a very fine specimen but, this morning she noticed old Butch's bell hadn't rung at all! When she went to investigate, she saw the other roosters were busy chasing pullets, bells-a-ringing, but the pullets hearing the roosters coming, would run for cover.
To Sarah's amazement, old Butch had his bell in his beak, so it couldn't ring. He'd sneak up on a pullet, do his job, and walk on to the next one.
Sarah was so proud of old Butch, she entered him in a Show and he became an overnight sensation among the judges.
The result was the judges not only awarded old Butch the "No Bell Peace Prize" they also awarded him the "Pulletsurprise" as well.
Clearly old Butch was a politician in the making.
Who else but a politician could figure out how to win two of the most coveted award on our planet by being the best at sneaking up on the unsuspecting populace and screwing them when they weren't paying attention? Vote carefully in the next election. You can't always hear the bells.
Every time you hear about U.S.-imposed tariffs, remember that they are taxes on Americans. @POTUS is boasting that he loves collecting big taxes on Americans.

from way back in the thread re the student loan nonsense:

This is in addition to their
policy ideasinsane schemes.

I agree about The ten years.
I would go further with term limits
Only 4 House terms and only 2 Senate terms allowed.
No presidential campaigns until January of the election year.
Then a rotating primary system and no more caucuses, which I feel are ripe for rigging.
When you are flipping a coin to determine a winner, something is wrong.
Only 4 debates.
Inter North, South East and West and different states hold them on s rotating basis.
Every debate has a conservative and a liberal questioner and only the Top 4 networks get to have them.
If low ratings , you are out.
At least 5 percent in polls before you get on debate stage.
Second debate you must have 15 percent.
3 debates for Repub/ Dem debates.
No interference by questioners ala Candy Crowley.

BUTCH THE ROOSTER

EXCLUSIVE: Barack Obama's close confidante Valerie Jarrett has moved into his new DC home, which is now the nerve center for their plan to mastermind the insurgency against President Trump
Obama's goal is to oust Trump from the presidency either by forcing his resignation or through his impeachment, a family friend tells DailyMail.com
Jarrett has moved into the 8,200-square-foot, $5.3-million Kaloroma mansion to work closely with the former president and Michelle Obama
Jarrett lived in the White House, dined with the Obamas, and helped shape his domestic and foreign policies
Obama cannot use his West End office, a post-presidency perk, for political purposes
