As Dan McLaughlin says, if you want to learn who has power, learn who we are not allowed to offend:
Facebook acknowledges Pelosi video is faked but declines to delete it
When an edited video of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) began spreading across the Web this week, researchers quickly identified it as a distortion, with sound and playback speed that had been manipulated to make her speech appear stilted and slurred.
But in the hours after the social-media giants were alerted, Facebook, Twitter and YouTube offered widely conflicting responses that potentially allowed the viral misinformation to continue its spread.
YouTube offered a definitive response Thursday afternoon, saying the company had removed the videos because they violated “clear policies that outline what content is not acceptable to post.”
Twitter declined to comment. But sharing the video would likely not conflict with the company’s policies, which permit “inaccurate statements about an elected official” as long as they don’t include efforts of election manipulation or voter suppression. Several tweets sharing the video, often alongside insults that Pelosi was “drunk as [a] skunk,” remained online Friday.
Dial the outrage to 11! Now, I don't believe the late night comic brigade that mocks Trump nightly is rigorously fact-checked for every little detail (Snopes is too busy grappling with the Babylon Bee.). But let's not go after Queen Nancy!
If satire isn't dead yet, our Silicon Valley overturds will see that it is.

In all, Barr said, district judges have issued at least 37 nationwide injunctions against the Trump administration in barely more than two years. They issued such injunctions only 27 times in the entire 20th century, he said.
This is absurd and we have a spineless Chief Justice, who can't guarantee one of his court can fog a mirror and is up to his fat ass in FISA complicity, more upset that the President, who received 63 million more votes than he did, is identifying these black robed hacks by the President who nominated them than smacking down this judicial usurpation.

Rocco,
That article is from June 2017. We learned a few days ago that it was Weissman who did all the hiring, not Mueller. I do agree with you that Mueller knew there was no collusion from Day 1 of his appointment. Also, immediately after Comey was fired the Democrats started howling about obstruction of justice. The Mueller SC had to conduct a thorough investigation into that allegation because a thorough investigation prevented the Democrats from being able to claim Mueller covered up anything or overlooked anything. I have no doubt everyone here is correct in their negative perception of Weissman. Because he is a biased leftwing partisan I have no doubt Weissman wanted to ignore the facts and formally conclude Trump was guilty of OOJ. Fortunately around 5 March 2019 timeframe Mueller thwarted Weissman and did not allow him to do what he wanted. IMO that is why in the second week of March Weissman announced he was leaving the Mueller SC team. That’s when Weissman realized he had been played.
BTW Mueller is still officially employed by the DOJ reporting to Barr. Not certain what he is doing but my guess is working with Durham, Horowitz, Huber and other US Attorneys to provide them with the evidence he uncovered.

Just more evidence that Mueller was out to get the president from the start.
I know most people here believe that to be the case. Lets stipulate you are correct. I still can't figure out why Mueller did not go ahead and allow Weissman and Dreeben to invoke that bogus legal theory and formally conclude Trump committed OOJ despite there being no underlying crime nor evidence to support the charge. That's the very nature of a "witch hunt".
It still makes no sense to me that someone who is corrupt as Mueller is made out to be would not engage in one more act of corruption in order to destroy Trump. What stopped Mueller from allowing Weissman and Dreeben to do what they wanted to do? I haven't seen a logical answer to that question that passes the smell test yet.

TomR:
The whole Mueller-thwarted-Weissmann storyline is total make-believe. Its sole fantastical raison d'etre is that if Mueller & Weissman agreed on how Volume II should be handled, your entire house-of-cards collapses.
Mueller was certainly familiar with Weismann's controversial position on thought crime obstructions when he hired him, a construction he would need to sell in a case with no underlying crime. They'd known each other, and worked together at the FBI, for years. It makes far more sense to assume Mueller hired Weismann because of his views, not despite them. If they fundamentally disagreed on that central issue, it would be more than foolhardy not only to make Weissmann his right hand man, but also to task him with choosing the rest of the team -- over all of whose eyes the wool would also need pulling! There's a much better looking set of dots to be connected, in the idea that they agreed to leave the actual take-down of the President to Congress, and just tried to give them all the ammunition they could.
Weismann left when his work on Manafort and Volume II were done, not because he thought he had been played. It wasn't even particularly early. His upcoming departure was announced mere days before Mueller handed in his report to Barr.

JMH,
March 5 is when Mueller told Barr what his findings were going to be. The next week is when Weissman announced he was leaving the SC. Barr did not issue his summary to the public until March 24. The snitty letter Weissman wrote to Barr and leaked to the media indicates to me he realized he had gotten played
I didn't see anything in your reply that explains why Mueller did not let Weissman get away with what they wanted to do. You claim its make believe but you didn't back that up with anything to explain why there were no formal conclusions of OOJ which is clearly what Weissman wanted.
BTW thanks for pointing out Weissman left when his work on the Manafort case was finished. I pointed out several times the Manafort case did not end until the end of February 2019. That helps explain why the Mueller SC lasted as long as it did.
I think Mueller hired Weissman because he was ordered to by Rosenstein in order to get Weissman away from the DOJ while the crackdown on illegal leaking was going on. I wouldn't be surprised at all if Trump signed off on it. Its been very politically beneficial for him to be able to send out tweet after tweet after tweet accusing Mueller of being on a witch hunt. It has been SIGNIFCIANTLY politically beneficial for Trump that he was exonerated of Russian collusion by 18 Angry Democrats. That was the best possible outcome for Trump of them all. A totally different reality plays out if there were Republicans on the SC team.

--The whole Mueller-thwarted-Weissmann storyline is total make-believe.--
OK, but his point is, if Mueller is truly the damage-Trump-as-much-as-possible-Black-Hat as some have alleged then it seems likely he would go ahead and charge him with obstruction. That he didn't doesn't argue that he was Trump's ally but it's a pretty good indicator he isn't a Deep State assassin either.
It does support the Mueller-as-plodding-hack-who-got-where-he-is-because-of-his-junior-G-man-square-jaw-and-little-else idea though.
