A pastor decided to skip church one Sunday morning and go play golf.
He told his assistant pastor that he wasn’t feeling well.
He drove to a golf course in another city so no one would recognize him.
He teed off on the first hole, and a huge gust of wind caught his ball. The ball carried an extra hundred plus yards and dropped right in the hole for a 450 yard hole-in-one.
An angel looked at God and asked, “What did you do that for?”

So many amazing things happened over the last three days. All, or at least most of those things, are great for the United States. Much was accomplished!
This has both audio and a transcript of an interview with Brent Bozell and Tim Graham.
I am going to put an excerpt here which backs up what I have been saying for a long time. This is Brent Bozell:
But here’s what I found. I was prepared, as I write in the book, I was prepared not to like the man. I had the perception of him as loud, gregarious, bombastic, self-centered, arrogant, aloof. All those things put together, to me, spelled J-E-R-K. But then you visit with the fella and I was just stunned.
It was the exact opposite. He was soft-spoken. He was courteous. He was genuinely inquisitive. He was laser-focused in his questions, listening to his guests intently, pushing back where he felt necessary, taking in what he needed to take in. A true gentleman.
I tell you something else that I noticed that, to me, was very telling. We went down that escalator, you know that famous Trump Tower escalator from whence he declared his candidacy?
You would expect that the vicissitudes of celebrity would be such that we would be dining in his private dining room or some fancy restaurant.
Instead, he went right to Trump diner, whatever that restaurant is at the bottom, and along the way stopped to to meet with staff, the people at the kiosk, the security guards, and whatnot.
He wanted to talk to them. I made note of that. So the man that I spent an hour with was completely different from the man you see in public, and I was really taken by it.
He is NOT the loudmouth jerk that the media has portrayed. I said before that they created this cartoon character and that is who the dems campaign against.
I watch a lot of stuff on the internet, including old interviews from his business career. He is very smart and has been thinking about the problems in this country for a very long time. He also is really very polite. If you watched the videos of the G20 it is very obvious that most of the leaders LIKE him.

Unfortunately, if Roberts were to disappear, the hallowed Swing Vote Chair would pass on to Kavanaugh. It seems to be a law of nature that there can be no solid conservative majority on the court.
I am certain that there would be a push for that in some quarters, but that is why I post things like that. I was glad to see it surface on Twitter to remind people about what a creep she is.
I would like to see the justification for that enormous book advance she got, and I would like to know who ponied up the money.
Only a small portion of Bernie’s money is going to Trump campaign. Most of it to charities and other philanthropy. He says his kids and family are already taken care of.
I just finished my Kroger order. I REALLY like ordering on-line and then picking up. Two reasons:
1. I can see a running total so it keeps me from overspending.
2. It saves me time because I don't have to wander around the aisles looking for stuff. (Kroger has a bad habit of rearranging their inventory every few months in order to keep you in the store longer and spend more.)

He had 3 versions of this posted earlier. I think he had typos in the other 2, which have now been deleted.
Senator Bernie Sanders was recently invited to address a gathering of the Indian First Nations chiefs in Denver , CO . He spoke for almost an hour about his plans for increasing the standard of living for all of their citizens by totally free government grants for free college educations, free Medicare for all, etc. He mentioned how he always supported these issues that came forward to him. Although Sanders was vague about the details for the funding of his plans, he spoke eloquently about his ideas if he wins the White House in 2020.
At the conclusion of his speech, the chiefs presented him with a beautiful plaque inscribed with his new Indian name, "Walking Eagle."
The proud Sanders accepted the plaque and then returned to Washington . A news reporter asked the chiefs how they came to select the new name they had given to Sanders.
They explained that "Walking Eagle" is the name given to a bird so full of shit it can no longer fly.
Foist!

Link goes to a NYT story. The press is trying to shape events and as far as I am concerned, Bolton is right.

anonamom,
Whether that got posted earlier or not, I didn't read it so am glad to see it here!
I am always glad to add people to the "good guys" list. We get too many of the other types shoved in our faces.

Meghan McCain continues her vendetta against the Trump family.
As far as I am concerned, Harris is falsely claiming American black cultural heritage. Yes, she is black. However, her background is not the same as American blacks descended from Southern slaves.
But we on the right aren't allowed to talk about that. Especially is you are a Trump.

I am going to have to make a list of people I follow and whose tweets seem to be invisible on my time line, so that I can check their individual pages.
This tweet only showed up on my feed today because someone re-tweeted it. She has been shadow banned, apparently.

At a solemn 9/11 ceremony in 2011, as bagpipers played & an honor guard respected our American flag, Michelle turned to Barack & said:
"All this for a damn flag," & he nodded in agreement.
Don't be surprised when the Dems realize what a bunch of worthless losers they have on the ticket, that they start a draft Michelle movement.

Unfortunately, if Roberts were to disappear, the hallowed Swing Vote Chair would pass on to Kavanaugh. It seems to be a law of nature that there can be no solid conservative majority on the court.

Buckeye,
I am certain that there would be a push for that in some quarters, but that is why I post things like that. I was glad to see it surface on Twitter to remind people about what a creep she is.
I would like to see the justification for that enormous book advance she got, and I would like to know who ponied up the money.

amom,
Only a small portion of Bernie’s money is going to Trump campaign.

Melinda,
Why is there no hail on the roofs of the buildings, only in the street?
Why no hail on tops of those big trucks?
Why no sign of hail damage on any of the vehicles?
I smell something fishy.
Posted by: MissMarple2 | July 01, 2019 at 08:21 AM
Residual heat of both, and that hail looks very spongy compared to the iceballs we get.

Bernie Sanders
