I was watching some old movie about NASA sending a probe into deep space but still wanting to control it with radio signals. The lag time for the signal out and back was so long that it made for tense moments.

Strikes me that that is how we are asking Trump to manage the biggest government on this planet. Issue an order. Wait for it to get to some court somewhere. Wait for that court to think about it. Wait for the answer to come home. React and repeat.

Thank you for the second Kelly article. Both are reporting on Kelly's comments made at Duke. The titles of both articles demonstrate the gaslighting going on, which apparently you (as well as OL and Davod) fell for.

Kelly never said the border wall was "stupid". That's a leftwinger Vanity Fair writer making shit up. Aside from the title of the article the word "stupid" isn't even included anywhere else in the article. Kelly's position that there is no need for a border wall "from sea to shining sea" is the same position as Trump's. It would indeed be a "waste of money" to build a 30'+ wall in areas where it was not needed, which is why Trump is not advocating for that.

Indeed. The political gaslighting going on by Trump, pro-Trump pundits, the Fake News media, Trump's political opponents, you name it, has reached the point of being out of control. Its one of the biggest, if not the biggest, contributors to the infighting that occurs on this blog.

I hope the people here who dislike me realize how TK's two recent links about GEN Kelly clearly demonstrate how fellow Trump supporters are sometimes victims of gaslighting. Both of those articles intentionally and dishonestly twisted Kelly's comments out of context to gaslight both Trump supporters as well as Trump haters.

The leftwingers doing the gaslighting are trying to convince voters that Trump is so bad that GEN Kelly, who is highly respected nationwide, opposes Trump's border wall plan. That is Fake News at it's worst. If anything, since Kelly was Trump's Chief of Staff at the time he was probably the person most likely responsible for convincing Trump that a border wall "from sea to shining sea" was not feasible and a "waste of money". The gaslighting in the two articles has the added bonus of deceiving Trump supporters into thinking GEN Kelly is "backstabbing" Trump and trying to undermine him.
