Nate Silver's 538 has polling indicating post-debate changes in polling position. Unsurprisingly, Biden lost support and Harris gained it. However, more Biden supporters moved to other candidates than to Harris.
Personally, I was delighted to see Kristen Gillibrand's net favorable rating decline, although probably not by a statistically significant margin. Boo 'er off!
Did Nate tabulate the none of the above responses?

So I've been thinking about Jeff Sessions since MissM posted her thoughts yesterday. I've been waffling between deep state or dupe for some time. Lately I've been thinking he was duped by a Sally Yates DOJ but there's been one thing bothering me, a quote by a former Trump campaign worker in an article he wrote here. Here's the quote, "Now having one of the most successful boutique law firms in the country, Cooper put aside his open disdain for Donald Trump to help his old friend prep for the confirmation process."
So I tried to find confirmation that Cooper did indeed have an open disdain for Donald Trump, which might indicate that Sessions was influenced by his friends feelings toward Donald Trump, but gave up, until yesterday. It seems I was looking in all the wrong places. Forgive me for posting this article from TPM, scroll on by if you're not interested. Does it prove Sessions was a deep state plant...no but it does give us an idea about the man who sat down with Sessions and helped him pick his staff.

Rocco @ 10:49,
There are a lot of Trump supporters who initially supported other candidates. A lot of those voters were initially turned off by Trump's unique personality and style never before seen in a presidential candidate. A lot of those conservative voters knew of Trump's past as a liberal Democrat and were wary of his conservative bonafides. A lot of conservative voters didn't think Trump had a chance to defeat Hillary. How many of those voters realized they were wrong about Trump and are now ardent Trump supporters?
Chuck Cooper is a red-blooded conservative from Alabama who originally supported Ted Cruz. How many JOMers originally supported Cruz? I bet more JOMers initially supported Cruz than Trump. Correct me if I am wrong but Cruz has allied with Trump on pretty much everything in the MAGA agenda hasn't he? IMO anyone who thinks either Sessions or Cooper are denizens of the Deep State/DC Establishment and were secretly trying to undermine Trump are way off base. Instead of trying to undermine fellow conservatives on your own team, why not focus on those trying to destroy the country?

"but isn't that what Trump wants to stop by including only citizens in the census?"
Trump isn't trying to exclude anyone from the census; he just proposes asking whether a respondent is a citizen or not. That way you know both how many persons you have (which determines how many representatives you get, among other things) and how many citizens you have (which determines how many eligible voters you have).

Rush Limbaugh is focusing mostly on the 4th of July celebration but he gave a very brief mention of the Census issue. He read Trump's tweet that it is fale news and he accepted that to be the case.
Since Rush also accepted Trump's statements on the purpose of Mueller's visit to the Whitehouse the day before the SC formed, it presents a conundrum.

The prog argument of course is, by asking the question we will get a skewed number because illegals will be reluctant to complete the form if they have to either admit it or lie.
I don't understand that, because if the question is simply "Are you a citizen?" then "No" does not indicate whether you are here legally or illegally. (Granted an illegal might be more reluctant to say "No," for fear of being discovered.) Or was there supposed to be a second question, like "If no, then are you here legally?" Otherwise no lying would be involved.
