One further comment on the Dissenter browser. I'm not thrilled with how it handles bookmarks. It successfully imported mine from Firefox, but it just leaves them in a folder on a bar by itself below the bar with the address box. I relabeled the folder "Bookmarks," and I guess that's ok. But you'd think there would be a built-in bookmark button.

Also, there seems to be no "Home Page" button. Even though I always have the browser set to open to where I left off (with all the tabs recreated), it's helpful to have a home page button that will open a new tab to the home page.

Finally, I've been using Duck Duck Go as a default search engine instead of Google. But if I put a place in the box, like a city or an address, it doesn't automatically have a map to click on , and if it does, it defaults to Bing Maps, which I am not used to, and therefore don't trust.

Maybe there's away to change all that, but Dissenter doesn't have a lot of documentation.

FYI word of warning on one of your citations. Adam Gingrich (Wickmedia productions guy) also formed the MAGA Coalition SuperPAC. Sebastian Gorka briefly joined MAGA Coalition after he left the Trump administration but then quickly disassociated himself from Gingrich when he discovered the guy formed the SuperPAC to enrich himself by ripping off Trump supporters who thought they were donating to a worthy cause.

Nobody is blaming Trump for the existence of the swamp nor of the depth of the problem. But one hires a CEO so that he will hire his own executives who will stick to the game plan, and he sets benchmarks for ensuring that happens on his timetable. One of those benchmarks is who the direct hire hires to assist him in getting the boss' agenda accomplished. In the end, if the goals are not met, the Board will fire the CEO and let the next CEO fire the flunkies who failed.

If the buck cannot be placed on the desk of the CEO, then all is lost and nothing will ever be accomplished.

It is fine to be sympathetic for his troubles, but it is not fine to absolve him of his unique role in what develops on his watch.

Sessions did not drop out of the sky into that job. Trump hired him and did not respond when storm clouds formed just a few minutes later. The decision to NOT fire a subordinate on any given day is the same as a decision TO hire him again, day after day. So all CEOs are accountable for the first decision, then also for the implied decision made every day thereafter in which a correction is not implemented.

Not easy, sure. But that is the job and he did convince us to give it to him partly because he said these real world boss standards are what he would bring to the job.

Glory Hallelujah OL and I agree on something. Trump apparently had a good reason for not accepting Sessions resignation when it was offered in May 2017 timeframe. With the exception of the Mueller SC, Sessions was able to perform all the regular duties an AG is required to perform. Can anyone provide any shred of evidence that Sessions failed to fulfill his duties as AG to enforce federal law?

I look at the Bamboozling of Sessions as a clear benchmark of when Trump was trapped by one of his employees. Trump says so much when he ripped on Sessions, at the time, for his recusal. All of his subsequent complaints both before and after Sessions was fired make it clear that Trump was not a fan of Sessions.

My sympathy for Trump's plight against the swamp dwindled drastically after he promised to release the dirt on them and then sat on his thumb and did nothing.

If it is strategic positioning then Trump knows the risk of having people dissatisfied with apparent failures that arose from the path he chose.

What are we blaming him for again? My liquid retirement assets, which I'll have to start drawing on by law in about a year, are way above the level they were stuck on two and a half years ago. Unemployment is down and there aren't any international hot spots compared to 2001-2016.

The debt's still a major problem but our gutless political parties have no appetite for that so he'll have to develop a workaround. And he's doing his best as an army of one on immigration.

The things we're complaining about aren't any present danger to us. Compared to the things mentioned above, what we're complaining about is small time and vindictive. I mean yes, it sucks that the law doesn't get applied equally but unless someone gets in who will put us in the crosshairs, we're not impacted by us.

Trump has come closest to doing what I want done in office than anyone, including Reagan. If I were in charge things would be a whole lot worse. I haven't said that since early 1989.

He gave up his very comfortable, if not lavish, lifestyle, and enlisted in the fray. Not only that, he got his entire family involved.

He's righted the economy, cut regulations, reduced taxes, and gotten a huge number of the citizenry involved. We now know how corrupt a huge number of the people in government are, which many didn't know before.

There appears to be misunderstandings about what people on this blog believe and stand for.
I don’t see myself as a doom and gloom person but because I often agree with OL , Henry and TK I have been categorized as such.

You don’t know me personally and haven’t been here long enough to just dismiss me with an Eeyore generalization.
Some posters like MM and Captain are willing to cut President Trump a lot of slack in regard to his policies and progress on his promises.
Others are looking for more accountability and action.
Guess what?
Both are correct.
I happen to believe some compromise will be reached on the citizenship question.
I will not get in a lather about that.
What concerns me is the prosecution of the coup participants.
I admit I am impatient on that score.
