Why doesn't Trump or Barr just come out and say we are no longer going to honor these judge-shopped district court orders applied on a national basis. Just come out and explain the obvious - these judges only have authority within their district. Arrest the next o0ne who does this and prosecute him/her for exceeding their authority.
I'm getting really tired of judicial nit-picking. Be it the Supremes or district judges.
It just boggles the mind that an illegal immigrant can break the law by entering this country illegally and gain a "constitutional right" to anything their heart desires.
Food, water, shelter, medical care, etc. for free. And the right to wander around our country at their pleasure.
I'd like some more clarity on the citizenship question.
"On Tuesday afternoon, shortly before the rescheduled hearing was set to start, a Justice Department lawyer told plaintiffs the administration was moving ahead with printing.
“We can confirm that the decision has been made to print the 2020 Decennial Census questionnaire without a citizenship question, and that the printer has been instructed to begin the printing process,” Kate Bailey, a trial attorney with the Justice Department, wrote in an email to other attorneys involved in the case on Tuesday."
If this is a permanent ban on the citizenship question the people should speak up now, and loudly, that we will not participate.
Let the government try to prosecute us for doing so. It will be a folly. Tens of millions of illegal immigrants are immune to the law, but they'll try to prosecute tens of millions of citizens that won't comply with the census law.
Hell, lets make it even more political and targeted. If you are a Republican, Libertarian or Independent don't file in a blue state and file twice in a red state.
Raise the cry now. Pass it on. let's get this moving fast. Show Roberts there are consequences to his actions.
If he wom't enforce the law, we will defy it. Lets use Alinsky's rules against the immigrant advocates.
The article points out that even if Russia creates a new or improvised dry dock to rebuild the Kuxnetsov carrier it lacks enough dry docks to service the rest of the Northern Fleet.

Fascinating interview with a former SEC/Def. Everything was interesting, but this stuck out:
"And by the way, we all do talk among one another, among ourselves. And we’ve all been friends. There’s kind of a brotherhood among former secretaries. And one thing I don’t do, and none of them every did when I was secretary, was talk about them or make public comments about what they’re doing. They’d call me up, I’d call them up and give them private advice. It’s a lonely job. And the other people who have had it have been nice enough, were nice enough to me when I was secretary to be supportive. And I’m never, ever critical in public, never would dream of being that."
It's like SEC/Def's understand how important the job is that they remain in touch. There's no such thing as an ex-SEC/Def.
Very much worth reading, especially regarding the nuclear chain of command.
"Abdul Mahdi’s decree integrates paramilitary units into the military and forces groups to pick between political or military activity. Groups have until July 31 to abide by the new regulations, the decree said."

Olivia Pope - I had to Google her. In fact, I think your posts probably win the "most likely to need to Google for context" prize, Narciso! Not complaining as I always learn something :)
Warren like pat Schroeder with 25% more cowbell, Olivia was the daughter of a naval officer and a terrorist who slept eitn the future president, and naturally ended up the major crisis management firm in DC. That's scandal in a nutshell.
Small demonstrations around Indiana, which I note were organized by MoveOn. The demonstration in Franklin was led by Margaret McGovern, the former mayor of Greenwood which is just south of Indianapolis, and who is a democrat.
When I got to the bottom of this article I see that the content was provided (and probably written by) Franklin College, which has a journalism school.
Not ONE of the demonstrators has ever been to a detention center and they all seem to be parroting AOC and her tall tales, or the old images from the Obama years carried on CNN.
I also thought it was funny that they assumed that cars honking were honking in support.
Good Morning! We had a another huge thunderstorm last night. Climate chaos! Hubby walked the property and there are a few trees down. Sunny and clear this morning.
In my opinion both Warren and Harris will wear thin fairly quickly. Warren seems like a high school vice-principal in charge of girls discipline, and Harris is not going to be able to pull that drama queen act repeatedly without demonstrating what a phony she is.
Good morning, I like jim nj's idea about ignoring the census if illegals are allowed to steal our votes. And that's really what it amounts to, isn't it? I'm all in!

Rocco,
I may be wrong but I think the census ultimately determines how many reps a state gets. (Maybe not). So ignoring it in MA, CA and NY is probably a good idea.
Yes because they count overall population, ir was a cobvolutex explanation that came up with in kleznick that asking about citizenship would affect the count well why,

I'm thinking Nike has made an irreversible error!

Olivia Pope - I had to Google her. In fact, I think your posts probably win the "most likely to need to Google for context" prize, Narciso! Not complaining as I always learn something :)

It doesn't bother me that a lunatic fringe exists in this country.
It does bother me that this group is as big as it is.

Worth reading. Sudan lost the support of the UAE. Qatar didn't step up.

Warren like pat Schroeder with 25% more cowbell, Olivia was the daughter of a naval officer and a terrorist who slept eitn the future president, and naturally ended up the major crisis management firm in DC. That's scandal in a nutshell.

https://www.wthr.com/article/protesters-demand-changes-immigrant-detention-centers

Narciso,
In my opinion both Warren and Harris will wear thin fairly quickly.

If you’re offended by a shoe celebrating the flag of the American Revolution, it’s a good indication that you may be better off living in a permanent safe space.
Or Cuba.

NSA they were -2,974, Continuing Claims were +21,375.
Rates are getting crushed, stocks are bid, all because of the LaGarde announcement, and her perceived "Hold my beer!" continuation of SooperMario's Accommodation Plan.

Jane, I wonder if any red states would be affected by illegals counted in the census? In any case, I think jim is right, a viral and immediate threat of civil disobedience by the right might be enough to stop it.

Buckeye "It doesn't bother me that a lunatic fringe exists in this country. It does bother me that this group is as big as it is."
At some point, the fringe becomes the body and the body becomes the fringe.
