PRESIDENT TRUMP'S PUBLIC SCHEDULE
For Friday, August 23, 2019.
11:00am ET, receives Intelligence Briefing.
12:30pm ET, has lunch with Mike Pompeo.
11:00pm ET, POTUS and FLOTUS depart for G7 Summit in Bordeaux, France.
Buckeye, Lew Alcindor, decided to be a Muslim and something of an Intellectual. Fame, fortune, more money and women than you could imagine, never satisfied him. Yet he accepted all of the trappings and treated people shabbily.
He "still hasn't found, what he's looking for".
Ironically, he isn't looked upon as fondly as he could have been. All-time leading scorer, several MVP's, several WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS, movies, commercials, etc etc. STILL NOT HAPPY
“This is, like, a learning process,” Ocasio-Cortez later told reporters. “When I made the Green New Deal, I thought weather like storms and earthquakes were all caused by climate change, but now I’ve learned from Representative Omar that lots of that is actually from Jewish-controlled weather machines. So for the next version of the Green New Deal we will have to keep that in mind.”
The Captain, from Captain and Tennille, WAS NOT A REAL CAPTAIN. He was a crappy keyboard player, making a living off of Tennille.
He did however, have a very cool HAT.
Taste of autumn in the air today as a cold front blew out all the humidity. I probably got more reading done today than since the start of summer. Plus it hasn't been a terrible summer.
Obama’s spent their FU money in Martha’s Vineyard. That’s land that was literally stolen from the Indians. He must have a little siciliano in his woodpile.
College hoops daw UCLA (Walton) crush NC State in the NCAAs. (Might have been the NITs, SI had it on the cover).
UCLA didn't go to the NITs while Walton was there. They did lose to iNCeST in Walton's senior year as the Wolfpack prevailed in the championship game against Al McGuire's Marquette team.
When I was a kid I was (and still am) a huge b-ball fan. Villanova was right down the road and I spent a lot of time at the field house. My first pro game was a package deal, six games maybe, for the Sixers for Christmas. All by my lonesome. Used to take the train to take the bus to the Spectrum.
One of those games was the Bucks and for some reason I had a 2nd row seat right on the aisle. Alcindor (I think he was still Alcindor at that point) walked right by me. Tallest man I had ever seen to that point.
Can't remember who won but the Sixers were pretty bad.
Was a huge UCLA fan as well, which really conflicted me when 'Nova played them in the NCAA championship game in '71. Someone had given me a Villanova letter jacket and I wore it through college. I was being recruited by them for track and used to run with Liquori and the team on warmups sometimes since they were right near our school.
But in the end I had to get outta Philly and see the elephant in NYC, which I certainly did. Got to see various college and pro teams play at the Garden and it was all downhill from there. Got to see Clyde at his peak. That was probably the last time NYC was basketball nirvana.
JiB: "We as an independent country of laws need to finally elimanate the judicial branch that never existed in our Constitution"
This is mostly about BrExit, and quite lucid. But there's also a fascinating section about the pitfalls of giving courts too much authority. I was not aware of how limited the Brit judicial branch had been historically. https://www.claremont.org/crb/article/why-hasnt-brexit-happened-yet/
If you are interested but no time to read the whole thing, look for this.
"And there was an even larger problem than the loss of national sovereignty, Bogdanor shows. The E.U. destroyed the system of parliamentary sovereignty at the heart of Britain’s constitution. For all its royalist trappings, Britain has traditionally been a much purer representative democracy than the United States, because it excludes courts from reviewing legislation on any grounds."
There's quite a bit more in the following sections
My Grandfather, my Paternal Grandfather, was an Irish immigrant to Phila. He never finished High School, but he did end up being a SENIOR VP of SALES and MARKETING for a major corp. He was on the board of ST JOSEPH'S for many years. I was chatting with Henry last week as we had lunch, and we talked about Henry, as a Young exec and Yale grad working section 8 real estate in Phillie.
WHAT A SHITHOLE. Henry had GREAT STORIES of his youthful career and a specific GHETTO CRUISER that he owned. He even had pictures on his phone all these years later.
The FULL COMMIE has had TRILLLLLIONS of dollars, and TONS AND TONS of LIES and BULLSHIT.
Philadelphia has NOT gotten better.
I'm sure that is TRUMPS fault.
OH!!!! Wasn't PHILA where the NEW BLACK PANTIES, were walking at polling places with night sticks???
Interesting on the different Lutheran Synods. As a Catholic, I'm no authority on any Protestant denomination, but I might have an insight for some of you. In studying genealogy in New Netherland, now NY, you can't help but become aware of religion.

Eventually, all of these churches freed themselves from European control and set up their own American-based hierarchies and seminaries.
All I know is, the Nazarenes don’t allow anyone in their purview to wear shorts. My church rented out one of their camps for a week and I couldn’t wear shorts while it was light out. I still hate them a little and I’m not even working on it.
A guy I used to work with is about as devout Nazarene as you can be, and I just checked his FB photo gallery and there's lotsa shorts pics. Are there regional differences? His degree is from a Nazarene college in Idaho, and his father was a pastor in Maine.
I feel like I’m in Groundhog Day and I made that same Crowded House mistake before. Back to Canada and the studio from Limelight and Tom Sawyer: https://youtu.be/YlcY_enzwmI
Much of the doomsday talk sounds silly. Lorries will be piled up in France and Britain won't get supplies of essentials and have do deal with shortages? EU businesses aren't going to earn money on goods that can't be delivered.
One of the best movie scenes of all time was in Witness. The townies are making fun of the Amish and one smashed ice cream on Aragorn son of Arathorn’s face if you’re paying attention. Harrison Ford gives him an overhand right and breaks his nose.
Bill Gates flew on the Lolita Express. Some guy connected to BG is an executor of Epstein’s will, filed in the Virgin Islands two days before his tragic death, in a shaky signature. Nothing to see here.
So folks are going to bring up that byrne was successfully sued for some overreach he made about one particular businessmam, but most of his indulges in the same garbage that fusion has beem throwing up for years now.
Epstein, was connected to HUNDREDS of big timers.
PRINCE ANDREW and on and on and on.
Why has the INVESTIGATION into EPSTEINS, sex pals, come to a complete STOP????
We all know why. The idea that the AMERICAN MFM Media is in any way LEGITIMATE is a clownish joke.
EPSTEIN and his DISGUSTING FILTH, should have taken down DOZENS of LIBTARD FULL COMMIE CREEEEEEPS.
It hasn't.
Many many people, gus, some very prominent in finance in media and government. Ive mentioned just a few, if you make the wromg connection without a net, you get an electric shock like the game of operation.
It really is. I particularly like its bleak honesty. Certainly I would guess the author sides with "The People" but he also, for example, openly admits the elite has fought their battle far more effectively.
I mean his two attys write a new will, where they are beneficiaries, he ends up dead two days later, hello mcfly, this wouldnt fly on an episode of columbo.
I'm reminded of a prior article that said the Air Force won't support 4 different bomber fleets. At least one will be retired. There are only 20 B-2 stealth bombers. Probably the first to go.
There are about 62 active non-stealth B-iB's left, with a bunch more in storage.
There are about 58 active non-stealth B-52'S, 18 in reserve and more carcasses available for a re-build if needed.
I think the B-52 will fly longer than the B-1B's and B-2's. They are less expensive to operate and have more carrying capacity. Some predict they will still be in use 30 years from now.
Caldwell goes a long way to set the scene, but it doesnt require it, the resistance to brexit was set out in andrew marrs head of state which was published a year before.
I did see the article that suggests the PLA has maxed out it's investment in the artificial islands.
They seem to be configured as forward reconnaissance and offensive missile bases.
I've been puzzling over them for a while. I don't think they are defensible. One or two missiles from subs or other source could take them all out at once. I think the Marines could launch near simultaneous attacks on all of them and take them that way.
I don't know what approach we would take. Do we want to seize the islands to hem in the PLA Navy?
Well Chinese missiles could be launched at the islands if we took them. Do we believe we can put in enough air defense to secure the islands?
I don't know how it would work in the back and forth of a war, but I can't see the Chinese re-taking the islands and I can see the Marines eventually owning them. Assuming, that any part of the fake islands survive.
And if you want to wander into the realm of irony, did some brilliant Chinese strategist build a defensive perimeter only to have another brilliant Chinese strategist war-game this with a better red team and ask why they built US Marine bases so close to China.
So she would rather kill innocents overseas than secure America. Got it.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/New_Brunswick_Theological_Seminary
Reformed
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lutheran_Theological_Seminary_at_Gettysburg
Lutheran, but possibly not the first
So you have churches of different existing religious denominations, some of them not using English until a few generations later.
New American religions arising and after a time, some older churches uniting with newer churches in using English everywhere.
While some churches were uniting, others rising, some old ones wound up with different hierarchies.
The divisions could have been due to differences in theology, personal clashes, of difference in geography.
Nowadays the divides seem to be liberal vs. traditional.

You can’t wear them on or around Church Business. This was 30 some years ago though.
Listen to that April Wine song, music fans, and tell me if they didn’t cop Paperback Writer a little bit. And the breakdown from Heartbreaker.

That was a great article from CRB on Brexit.

The old guy says,”He’s from Ohio.”

Has anyone seen A History of Violence?
The History is a little thin but Violence is covered thoroughly.

Bill Gates flew on the Lolita Express. Some guy connected to BG is an executor of Epstein’s will, filed in the Virgin Islands two days before his tragic death, in a shaky signature. Nothing to see here.

It hasn't.

"That was a great article from CRB on Brexit."
It really is. I particularly like its bleak honesty. Certainly I would guess the author sides with "The People" but he also, for example, openly admits the elite has fought their battle far more effectively.

Narciso,
I did see the article that suggests the PLA has maxed out it's investment in the artificial islands.
