Ah pariskova was in this one, among the supermodel (named) who were in those videos, i think the synth takes something from the song

CORN POP and his NEGRO GANG, were challenged and stared down by JOEY BIG BALLS BIDEN and his 6 foot length of chain. IT WAS EPIC,
Black peeps loved Joey BIB BALLS, because he'd speak to them. They'd never heard a lying fake tough guy LIBTARD before.

This horse shit, is not dementia, it's par for the LIBTARD course.

Its like a mashup of diner and pulp fiction in 1962 wilmington delaware, what film was ever set in wilmington delaware.

Crude oil reaction was straight headline bot, no thinking behind it at all.

And this has been a baited trail that the mullah’s have been led into.

What path they’ve been led down, I have no idea, but I have no doubt they’ve been led. I need more popcorn....

Captain Hate

You're on the road, rich? Because I got home yesterday after a bitching storm blew down a bunch of trees in my neighborhood but not any of mine.

CH-

Did you drive the bridge and was the face panel still popped from the truck strike?

GUS

Mel, did you mean more CORN POP?

Captain Hate

Dave, the comments for that are hilarious.

Captain Hate

What bridge, Mel?

rich

no. meant to ask if you were.

Melinda

The longest and oldest covered bridge over the Connecticut River, from Windsor, VT to Cornish, NH. Dates from the mid 1800’s.

Narciso79

But will the pump price be tomorrow, also how will the pantomine horses react.

Captain Hate

Yes, I drove across it from Windsor on the way to Saint-Gaudens. Didn't notice anything askew about a face panel (we also stopped on a group tour at the NH side) but I wasn't looking for it either. Mrs H took a lot of pictures so I'll check but nothing struck us as unusual.

GUS

I think CORN POP was called SHARPTON.

Dave (in MA)

Fmr. Obama foreign policy pansy Ben Rhodes claiming Trump is too accommodating to the Saudis.

Dave (in MA)

No, Sharpton was Corn Poop.

Melinda

‘Oil surge most on record”

How much manufactured alarm can they dream up? 5%, and its falling back, PLUS the BBerg meat puppets are laughing off camera about it before jumping into hysterics.

This is straight gaslighting.

Captain Hate

But did you find J. D. Salinger's house?

No, we only had one free afternoon to wander around and adding to my beer fridge was my highest priority. I cared about Salinger barely more than that shithead Steinbeck, which my family inflicted visiting various sites around Monterey previously on me.

Didn't he get revealed as kind of pervy in his later years?

Melinda

Then they bring in an Iranian apologist. Seriously.

Talk about pay for view....

clarice

I think so, too, Melinda.

Watch out for those laser pointers!

ah.

mel-

i remember some vaguely about nigeria oil attacks doing the same thing as oil /bbl went to about 130-ish (back 04-06 time frame).

Narciso79

That was one of the subplots in the grid one of the better series on the subject, but that state by itself didnt have anywjere near the capacity

Captain Hate

If it wasn't for the Bush Crime Family hating Ted Cruz, would anyone know who Blotto is?

Narciso79

Thats true, hes the male versiom of wendy davis,

macthenaif

CH

I don't think pervy, but he was involved with several much younger women at various points. And he was spiritually promiscuous. The folks in Cornish found him a regular guy, if a bit distant.

Melinda

$147 peak top had eberything to do with excess credit and trying to milk the contango volatility trade, the ‘06 pre-“pop” was the first crack at the “hot” trade on the street.

Then it deflated. (And should continue, btw.)

The “fear” component of price has been severely discounted, for whatever reason..almost as if no one believes the mullahs influence any more, markets wise.

Narciso79

Oona oneil who was younger than wynona ryders characterization in chaplin.

jimmyk

Happened to accidentally catch some NFL highlights today. Terrible refereeing. The end of the Bears-Broncos game reminded me of the US-USSR basketball final in the '72 Olympics. A terrible roughing the passer call, then a questionable decision to put 1 second back on the clock when everyone thought time had expired.

jimmyk

On Salinger, I don't think I ever got what was so great about Catcher in the Rye. Though I suppose reading it in high school isn't a good test.

Narciso79

You have brought in a real Bear and mauled the referee, that will teach them

So i guess they will pay robert downey jr half to cameo in the next film.

Narciso79

Its all about teen angst, that was relatively new them, i remember in junior high we read the chocolate war, a melodrama along similar lines

macthenaif

"Franny and Zooey" is good stuff, by my tastes.

Narciso79

Speaking of tedious, they brought the goldfinch to the screen, that doorstop of a book.

macthenaif

And Salinger was deeply into fad diets. May the circle be unbroken.

rich

test ...

Narciso79

I note mittens threw the shade on william 'psycho killer' weld, i guess they wouldnt share the same jar of grey poupon.

Captain Hate

To be clear, I don't blame Salinger for being reclusive and not writing much in later years. Based on what the Goodreads mavens say, his other works like Franny and Zooey were well regarded by lots of people. Sometimes being well known for an iconic work, rightly or otherwise, can skew the whole picture in a not positive way.

rich

weird ... anyway.

jimmyk-

i was bombarded with nfl highlights today, but cared about the nats win (finally 7-0 against the evil braves)

mel-

not really my point. my point was about the "for press release" attack on the nigerian oil infrastructure during that time frame-it spooked the market for a few days during the extraordinary run up.

Captain Hate

I liked The Goldfinch.

Narciso79

Take thomas oynchon he should write less, gravitys rainbow was too overatuffed in the first place,

The No Fun League hasn’t figured out that replay is killing the sport. Their response to that Super Bowl nonsense should have been to publicly fire the officiating crew and leave it at that. But instead they’re now letting New York call penalties via TV, and watching their officiating get progressively worse.

Narciso79

Well yes but bring the Bears anyways.

macthenaif

Never did like Pynchon's work. Wanted very much to like "Mason and Dixon" but just couldn't. Love Knopfler's "Sailing to Philadelphia" though, and it was inspired by the book.

Captain Hate

I *really* hated Gravity's Rainbow and found his other works not nearly as annoying. One of these days I should tackle Mason & Dixon, which I snagged at a library sale.

Melinda

Not disagreeing at all, rich, just filling in the picture. I still think 50-60% of current pricing is fear driven, so we’ll see. It’s going to take a few years to stop pricing our domestic pump costs off of Brent, but until then, the headline bots will make our lives more miserable than necessary.

Captain Hate

Is it bad the way Gravity's Rainbow was, mac?

Melinda

If you don’t like Pynchon’s writing, what do you think his brother was like as a headmaster?

Flashbacks! Yikes! Time for bed...

Almost caught up. Yesterday I made a snarky remark about Bolton and Trump.

Stories are out there that the last thing they clashed over was loosening the restrictions on Iran.

Bolton was for maintaining or increasing them, Trump apparently wanted some room for maneuver. Maybe because of the EU. Who knows?

Then the attack on the Aramco refinery a few days later.

Bolton wins after leaving because you don't want to reward this attack by loosening sanctions.

Iran was on a path to getting some breathing room and just threw it away.

In the end, it's not going to matter if the attack came via Houthi drones or missiles fired from Iraq by Iran-backed militia. Either way Iran is behind this.

I should also add that there have been reports of more than one Israeli airstrike on Iran-backed militia in Iraq.

I wouldn't be surprised if coordinated retaliatory strikes are being contemplated.

Captain Hate

Cliff notes are how I made it through Ulysses. Honestly my undeveloped mind needed help with the classical references. Molly Bloom's Soliloquy is a breath of fresh air after reaching it.

macthenaif

Going to watch Ken Burns now. We shall see.

i mostly think our very own coup plotters are behind it ... (think kerry and obama).

Narciso79

Probably, you cant put anything past them,

jim nj

Melinda,

WTI is usually priced less than Brent, but they are still coupled in price moves. If the US continues to increase production as forecast I think they will de-couple in a few years.

We're in a whole new era of oil pricing with production from Iran and Venezuela virtually nil. Years ago that would have meant a huge crisis.

Great to have you here, rich and no week is complete without your KJOM postings!

jim nj

Rich,

If Iran is taken advice from anybody, they should stop, they are working against their own interests.

I don't see how EU countries can look at the Aramco attack and think that comports with EU interests. They need Saudi oil, not us.

If Melinda is still up I'd like to know if it's true that his mayor can stand at the corner of a building and look down both sides simultaneously.

jim nj

Rich,

I use Bing for searches - it's marginally better.

I have noticed with all of the search engines that sometimes I can't find what I want. I know exactly what I want, but can't figure out the correct "search terms" to find it hidden among garbage links unrelated to what I asked for.

On the Middle Eat, it's like that Oldsmobile commercial. This is not your father's Middle East.

The Middle East isn't as important as it used to be for the US. We're still engaged there, but the terms of engagement are different. Israel has gradually lost the enmity of its neighbors who no longer see it as "THE" enemy. The same forces arrayed against Israel are arrayed against them.

and this chart is the problem:

i was getting all kinds of irrelevant trash links-and if the google censorship shop weren't staffed with a bunch of h1's, it'd be considered anti-semetic.
