Big Brexit votes today. The showrunners have delivered plenty of plot twists but still... it should have been wrapped up a while ago.
Much closer to home, coming down the tracks are:
an impeachment trial, or something, in the Senate (Cocaine Mitch sees impeachment by Thanksgiving).
AND
the Barr/Durham 'Crossfire Hurricane' investigation gets some 'bury it on Saturday' pixels.

It seems very clear that Hillary is mentally ill. (Okay to some of us that's been clear for years) But she needs to be evaluated, and probably put away.
Andy MCarthy just posed a good question. Biden's excuse is that he was sent to Ukraine to investigate the investigators. Who else did he investigate other than the guy investigating his son.

Melinda,
They must be getting advice from the GOP in Congress.
I didn't link them, but the President has several video clips on his time line from a guy who took videos of Women for Trump members who went to Capitol Hill on October 17th. They went to Pelosi's office and gave her interns hell, fussed at Eleanor Holmes Norton in the hall, and generall put up more resistance to the democrats than the elected GOP.
They can be seen here:
https://twitter.com/realDonaldTrump
Of course, none of that was covered in the media, which is why the President gave them coverage on his time line, I believe.

Hillary Clinton quits DC event set to feature Tulsi Gabbard
It looks like the “Queen of Warmongers” blinked.
A face-to-face confrontation between Hillary Clinton and Rep. Tulsi Gabbard set for next week was averted when Clinton backed out of the Fortune Most Powerful Women Summit in Washington, DC.
Clinton aides cited a scheduling conflict late Friday when she announced her withdrawal from a speaking slot at the annual event. One insider told Slate that Clinton dropped out to protest the inclusion of former Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielson on the schedule.
But Gabbard is on the bill, too — and Clinton’s pull-out came just hours after the former Secretary of State accused the Hawaii Democrat of being the “favorite of the Russians” on a podcast.

Regarding shooting one's neighbors; it's a euphemism for the civil war I consider likely at some point in the next few years/decades.
People in colonial America or the 1850s didn't want to shoot their neighbors either.
But when the choice was made for them, they did.
Nobody wants to but when our neighbors [fellow citizens] demand from us our freedoms and rights and do so under the color of "law", the power of the state and the point of a gun they have made the choice for us.
If you don't think that's where the left is inexorably headed then you are not listening to what they are very plainly telling you.

It's clear who's to blame in both cases, and it's not the voters.

if we think Obama's imperial presidency was bad, hoo boy. we aint seen nuthin.
The separation of powers has not protected us citizens particularly well. When Roberts bent over backwards (maybe not backwards) to call the ObamaCare penalty a tax, he was finding ways to empower congress, not protect the people.
A Democrat in the White House collaborates with a Democrat congress to rip off the tax payers.
We've already witnessed the runaway Executive Branch, first when the CIA sent Joseph Wilson off to Africa on a mission that was ultimately employed to take down George W. Bush with the investigation into who in the White House outed Valerie Plame in revenge. They already knew it was Armitage.
Then once again we saw Mueller investigation right out of the same playbook, and even with many of the same players, but this time it was about Russian Collusion.
The failure of impeachment won't be anywhere near the tragedy of failing to prosecute the rampant corruption. Congress devotes all of its energies and resources to getting reelected and staying in power. All legislation is aimed at that -- you could argue that it should be -- and no legislation is taken up that puts reelection at risk. No statesmanship whatever.
I've mentioned this briefly before, but there is a massive black market in influence and money laundering made up of foundations, lobbyists, corporations, and think tanks that offer both immediate and deferred compensation on a mind boggling level. A couple billion for Hunter Biden, a sojourn at Lockheed Martin for James Comey that netted him millions, a stint at Fanny Mae for Jamie Gorelick to the tune of $26 million, just to name a very few.
It is a massive network that influences, congress, presidents (but not this one), the administrative state, the media, and I've probably left out a bunch.
None of these people have any incentive to consider the voters and taxpayers, since the taxpayers are not the ones paying them the big bucks. Taxpayers and voters are the audience to be manipulated according to the visions of the paymasters, for lack of a better word.
