The AllahPundit takes us to Syria so he can bash Obama, Susan Rice, Trump, ISIS, the designated hitter rule... well, there's a lot to bash.
If Trump was hoping to alienate Congressional Republicans at a critical moment, well, mission accomplished. As one wag put it, prior to condemning the abandonment of the Kurds the last time the Twitterverse showed so much bipartisan unity was when they blasted some Hollywood studio's plan to remake The Princess Bride.

NBC producer at hearing today
Grand jury material
Charlie Gile
@CharlieGileNBC
·
Morning from DC District Court, where Chief Judge Beryl Howell is hearing arguments regarding the House Judicary lawsuit to get Mueller grand jury materials.
Douglas Letter, arguing for the committee, says they've recieved no FBI 302s regarding former White House counsel Don McGahn. "I'm sure you'll agree... he's an absolutely important witness," Letter says.
1
Part of what the committee is seeking are the transcripts to grand jury testimony. Judge Howell asked if that meant anything witnesses saw Trump do or say. "Correct," Letter says.
Isn't the impeachment inquiry tied to the president's call with the Ukranian president, Howell asks. Does that undercut your request for grand jury material? No, Letter says. The six committee are looking into articles of impeachment which could also include obstruction.
Wouldn't it just be easier to take a full House vote on the impeachment inquiry? Maybe, Letter says that there's nothing in the House rules that would require a resolution.
Letter tells Judge Howell that the House requires "absolute deference" when it comes to impeachment inquiries
What candidate Trump knew about Wikileaks would be of immense relevance to the impeachment inquiry, argues Letter. "Did he lie? Did he fix the election? Did he obstruct justice?" Letter says.
Letter says that impeachement is not just a political show. "It's not just 'Do we hate your president? Let's impeach him.'"
"So the president can be impeached for just being a bad guy?" Howell asks. "Correct," says Letter.

We are on the third day of having "tree guys" here. We have many 100' California Oaks on the property, and they need thinning.
It was prompted, partially, by one just falling with no apparent reason one day, and fortunately it did no harm. Many of the others could kill people if they fall the wrong way.
It is amazing to watch them work. The lead tree guy is afraid of heights, and is allergic to Oaks. So of course he is crawling around 50' or more above the ground in our Oak trees. They used a lift bucket for the rest.
What they have done to the tree shapes and density simply is amazing. What artists!
We removed many junk trees too -- they have accumulated over they years. It is good to see them gone.

Crack or powder cocaine, or meth could have been checked for in a toxocology test, but the remains are said to be beyond that." Any info? I am asking for my next book project, an intellectual history of the Victorian fairy. (My position is that fairies are complete nonsense and the Victorians loved them in a fully reactionary, anti-industrial, anti-science kind of way, but also an anti-Evangelical way too).
