Jim nj,

I look at Horowitz Office as a sort of management audit operation. Typically, such an audit would come with a general scope of the audit, findings and recommendations. I don't believe that Horowitz first report was structured in this way. It would be a shame if the report we're all waiting for is just a recounting of some problems without any recommendations to correct them.

Of course any actions taken would depend on the Attorney General, the President and the Congress. But if what Horowitz provides is anything like what we recently saw concerning the FISA warrants, it will be terribly disappointing.

Haiku was at the Ewok's for a while post loon, maybe still and I haven't noticed; glad he's enjoying himself at the Outhouse.

The fight is on and of course Amazon will claim that Trump interfered in the award process.

Amazon reportedly restricted partners at its New York conference from mentioning competitors like Microsoft and Google

That's not very friendly.

Barbara, working off memory, since I don't have the synopses I posted here saved, that's about what the first report was like.

Lot's of sub-sections. Each one was here's what we looked at, here's who we talked to, here's what we found, we explored possible alternative courses of action.

It also examined procedure and whether it was applied properly.

Barbara

Thanks, jim nj. I wasn't here at the time, so I missed all of your information on that report. Nonetheless, I'm glad to learn that Horowitz structured his report in that way.

According to what I just heard on the radio (Jay Sekulow's program), Horowitz has already turned over the FISA portion of his report to Durham for possible prosecution. That will be interesting. I would think those findings could lead to a reexamination of the entire Mueller enterprise.

Thanks again.

Bars bars, I still have the Vaughn Meader record.

I think one of the more interesting aspects of the upcoming Horowitz report is that we have basically the same cast of characters as in the first report.

I suspect some people, after looking at the new report, will re-visit the old report.

That may get interesting since many of those people left the FBI after that first report was issued.

Barbara... auto cucumber is in fine form

Barbara,

That's interesting that Durham has the FISA portion of the report already. I wonder if that will be shared with the FISA court.

IMHO, it should be shared. I'd like to hear some outrage from the FISA court if justified.

I'm also curious if Horowitz or somebody is looking at all the 702 un-maskings.

Melinda

I’d like to hear some outrage AT the FISA court.

And its supervision.

Jim,

It sure will! Want I want is as complete an examination of the schemes and illegal activities carried out at the FBI and other agencies as can be publicly exposed. We have to trust that Barr and Durham will take it from there.

Barbara

Henry,

😀 Re: auto cucumber, don't I know it.

Lucky you to still have that record! It's a part of history.

Here's a link to the first Horowitz report:

https://www.scribd.com/document/381806664/2016-Election-Final-Report-06-14-18-0#from_embed

There was so much information in the report that if it wasn't for a biased media trying to bury the report that investigative reporters could have built upon it.

This is a truly bizarre story:

First thing I thought of was didn't they notice he wasn't paying his rent? It was auto-paid tied to his bank account that received his retiremnent pay.

Yes, it's all our fault. Hezbollah had nothing to do with it.

Trump Administration Withholding Over $100 Million of Military Aid to Lebanon

And the deep state can't understand why Trump won't do what they want.

"It came up in impeachment testimony by David Hale, the No. 3 official in the State Department, according to a transcript of the closed-door hearing released this week. He described growing consternation among diplomats as the administration would neither release the aid nor provide an explanation for the hold. “People started asking: What’s the problem?” Hale told the impeachment investigators."

Lebanon has a "dollarized" economy. US dollars are no longer flooding into the economy for many reasons. Hezbollah and the attitude of many ME nations toward them is part of it.

In the past a bail-out would have been forthcoming from SA or the UAE, but not now.

At this point anything that bolsters Lebanon, bolsters Hezbollah.

This is warfare by other means.

Jim, new thread.

Like DrJ said this is a dead thread.

New.
New. New thread.

Huh. Threads are rolling more quickly.

As DrJ and jim said
