My newest hero who speaks truth to PC annoyance: Laurence Fox, the British actor.

Lady in the audience calls him racist for his comments on Megxit and Harry and then ends calling out his "white male privilege" which he notes i also racists. The left only has pre-assigned mantras.

I wish I had saved a tweet I saw this morning from a Brit. It pointed out that Megan only accused the Brits of being racist AFTER they had paid for the lavish wedding and the remodel of their estate.

AP story about these events and the outreach effort

MM, we decided it was an identity politics editorial and didn’t run that article. Others in the newsroom laughed, too.

It supposedly highlighted the efforts of Trump to gain votes by playing to a particular audience, but all it did was reinforce AP's myopic editorial views.

Trump reached out to all voters to support policies that are good for America and all its citizens. Identity politics? Really?

I wondered how you would look at it, which is why I just put the link up. Those reporters are pathetic.

This was a rock solid interview Dave Rubin held with former CIA ops officer Bryan Dean White, who explains beautifully what exactly the Deep State is (good for sharing with friends) and why Comey, Brennan, and Clapper are going down.

Ted Cruz @tedcruz

NY Dem royalty Chris Cuomo declares "I can't believe people would vote for" McSally, or McConnell, or any GOP candidate. Clutching his pearls, in the very same breath, he says he can't understand why anyone might think CNN are liberal hacks....

oh no he didn't

Ted Cruz @tedcruz

Pro tip: real "journalists" don't (1) kiss up to every Dem, (2) refuse to ask them hard Qs, (3) relentlessly attack every Republican, (4) lie when doing so and (5) always, always push the prevailing Dem narrative of the moment. You know this, as does Manu. You just choose not to.

this is too easy for Cruz, and he's having so much fun

Mean't to post this the other day:

Cruz' has a really good shot at achieving peak relevance in this Trump Moment by destroying the 7 Dwarves during the Peach Mint trial.

Pelosi is doing her best to walk like a duck but Trump is too much the big dawg for that.

Posted without comment:

Then GAO gives away its argument again. Incredibly, the GAO “Decision” reveals that Congress actually rescinded the appropriation in question.

OMB removed the footnote from the apportionment for the USAI funds on September 12, 2019. OMB Response, at 2. Prior to their expiration, Congress then rescinded and reappropriated the funds. Continuing Appropriations Act, 2020, Pub. L. No. 116-59, div. A, § 124(b), 133 Stat. 1093, 1098 (Sept. 27, 2019).

Because the Ukraine appropriation was rescinded by Congress —legally what happened earlier is largely moot. This undermines the accusations.

Gramsci must be so proud.

I found that link at Ace’s place. Small wonder that commie progtards want us all disarmed and unable to speak our minds and they’re not exactly hiding it any longer...

But that damn Trumpy sure is vulgar, huh?

how much would it cost to disarm US citizens? VA citizens? would that process trigger tax revolts at state and fed levels?

can a state afford it?

would NAT Guard troops be involved? would licensed gun owning troops go along widdit?

Blackface hasnt thought this through.

Someone on that thread says that’s some ex-LSU player’s wife, not Orgeron’s wife.

I have a problem related to posting music. These days we listen entirely to streaming content, and I no longer really use YouTube, which is more accessible for most.

How many people here use Spotify? And soon I will try Idagio for their better classical content.

For example, right now I'm listening to a great Rubinstein recording of Brahms, but I can't find it on YouTube.

Captain Hate

TBH I didn't think Ed would be married to a smoke show like that except I've seen what that dork Boeheim snagged.

Captain Hate

I heart Spotify

Try this one:

Brahms, straight romantic, well performed, and wonderful.

I’m just getting started with Spotify. It’s a vast improvement over ITunes but that ain’t sayin’ much.

I use Amazon Prime Music, which is great. $7.99/month, I think.

New thread, btw.

I like Spotify a lot, but they are better for rock and roll/blues/jazz than classical. Igadio supposedly is better for that, but I've not tired them yet.

It doesn't help that my streaming computer just went down, and I've yet to see what is up with it. Probably a power supply, but it will take some time to sort out.

We do have an inexpensive Spotify streaming box from Gramofon, which is surprisingly good for its modest cost (about $50), so at least we still have music.

Verbatim transcript in next several tweets...
HOST Larry O’Connor: "What's the deal with General Flynn pleading guilty in the first place, if he didn't make a false statement? Why did he plead guilty saying that he did?"

POWELL: "Well, that will be more evident when we complete our next filing"

HOST: "Okay"

(Cont. 1/4)
POWELL: "Now I can tell you that a number of things were substantially misrepresented to him, including the fact that there were even any false statements in the FARA filing to begin with..."

(Cont. 2/4)
POWELL: "...and of course, the FBI had to rewrite the 302 to create the existence of any false statements in his statements to the agents. He was honest with the agents. But in the process of the litigation before, he was horribly misled..."

(Cont. 3/4)
POWELL: "...not to mention threatened with the indictment of his son who had a four month old baby, bankrupted already by the legal fees, had to sell his house, the stress, you know, wanting to end it all for his family and completely misled on the factual situation"

Sidney Powell, General Flynn's attorney says in the interview that the general's son was 'threatened'.
