Hard to compare parties over such long spans of time (other than noting that the Dems have largely been scum for 200 years, with the possible exception of Truman), but Silent Cal was probably the last real conservative before Reagan, and he was a decade after TR.
I somehow got 4% and answered [I thought] every answer all the way to the agree or disagree side.
Due to the form of the questions and responses and having a sliding bar I'm not too confident of the accuracy of the results.
Probably designed by a commie.
Harding and Coolidge were both pretty conservative [as was Taft] But TR got that ball rolling and Hoover's disaster was to cow Reps for a couple of generations.
Let's hope Trump is the anti-Hoover who releases the cowed GOPe's inner bull.

I have to run out and get a couple of things I forgot at Kroger.
Daughter has a mild case of pneumonia left over from when she was sick a couple of weeks ago. I think she will be ok, though. She isn't running a fever, just had a bit of a cough and tired.
Did you notice how disgracefully the press behaved? Now they are pro-war since the President has announced a peace agreement in Afghanistan.
Back in the 80’s, I went for an interview at Commodore only to find that the source code ROMed into the ‘64’ wasn’t in the hands of the company management but rather in the hands of a small group of guys (one of which was often snorting coke in his cubicle) who would dispense small portions to other programmers as needed.
The following week, 3 of the 4 managers I talked to were laid off in the room designated the “gas chamber”, so I never got an offer.
The frustrating part about this is that I know because I was on the Trump transition team. One the things Gen. Flynn wanted to do — he thought it was critically important that we empty out the swamp of all the senior intelligence folks who are in Washington, DC.
S0, they had a real reason to get rid of Gen. Flynn because he was going to downsize the [White House] NSC [National Security Council], downsize the rest of the IC [intelligence community] elements in the swamp [and] push people out in the field because that’s were you get real intelligence. That’s what he wanted to do…and I know that because he told me this … [while] looking at a chart of the people he was going to eliminate.
I don't think of the GOPe as having much of any form of bull, other than pro level end product. However, they are extremely proficient as active members of the Remora Class, not actually doing the dirty work, but reaping the benefits during and after the crimes have been committed

Will MiniMike stand on a box for his 3 minutes of “public health is even easier than farming, or debates”?

>>>I told him our work would be more successful if the Trump administration stuck to the science and told the truth.<<<

rich, it would be nice if the UN stuck to science and told the truth on climate... but grifters gotta grift.

why?
Posted by: rich | February 29, 2020 at 06:55 PM
Kev
I heard that Paul Singer is trying to oust Jack Dorsey as Twitter CEO
If Singer does to SF what he did to Sydney you could be poised to be the West Coast’s Bruce Springsteen.
On a side note, Harley Davidson’s CEO stepped down. You can’t really blame the economy for all the CEO’s stepping down, can you?

i have a rant but think i'll spare everyone here, but it was something captain hate had mentioned-the "science bitches" response to the ebola epidemic. we're lucky that it was west african governments who took it seriously and not the resume padders and merit badge scavengers at the un, who, and the us who all wanted a global spread of it so they could go around being heroes.
it's the arrogance, the lies ...
