Well that was fun.
Was converting a few youtube vids to MP3 and the converter about every fifth use opens some annoying new window with an ad for something I never see because I close them.
Got distracted and didn't close one. Proceeded to devour foxfire and open a full screen unclosable window trying to get me to do something that I can't even remember. Had no choice but to reboot.
Once I did foxfire opened but if I tried to open a new site the little blue ball just spins endlessly and the little note in the lower left is always trying to connect to some ad site different for every tab.
So went to edge as the quickest way to reinstall firefox. On reinstallation still does it.
So I guess I'm done with Firefox. Edge on my pc seems to run about three times faster than firefox anyway so I'm not exactly heartbroken. Any suggestions for other options besides edge? MS is horrible of course but I have a real and virtuous bigotry toward all things google.

Another really big win in the courts, via Don Surber:

CBN News reported, "A US appeals court has upheld Trump administration rules that prevent taxpayer money from being used for abortions.

"The rules forbid clinics that receive federal funds through the Title X program from making abortion referrals and from sharing space with abortion providers. In other words, the Title X money is only supposed to used for health care needs, not to promote abortion.

"In a 7-4 ruling, the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals dismissed arguments that the rule forces doctors to violate medical morals by withholding information from patients, Court News reports."

This is huge. This means Planned Parenthood will no longer suckle at the federal teat, throwing kickbacks -- er, campaign donations -- to Democrats to keep the money flowing. President Trump has broken this circle of death by appointing 10 judges to the Ninth Circuit. That is better than a third of the 29 judges on the circuit. The president then changed the rules to prevent taxpayers from funding abortion.
