TM, no March Madness either. No lines for TP or at liquor stores where I am. Plenty of gallon jugs of Clorox or store label bleach.

matt - deplore me if you must

I picked up my 2 month supply of TP a couple of weeks ago to avoid the rush. Clorox, high octane alcohol, Windex, Lysol, check.

Since I live alone not much to worry about except there's no friction sports on TV. That will be the real decider. 3-4 days without hockey, basketball, baseball, etc. and you will see much of middle America freak out.

Just to mention my quick stops on the way home today.

Devin Nunes and Jim Jordan supported the FISA reauthorization bill

“Many Republican Senators want me to Veto the FISA Bill until we find out what led to, and happened with, the illegal attempted ‘coup’ of the duly elected President of the United States, and others!” Trump tweeted Thursday.

Don't we already know the answers to all that? The attempted coup IS being investigated. What we are waiting on are the indictments and trials of those involved.

I suppose it's possible that everyone on Team Trump has been lying to us and that Durham is not investigating the Obama criminal cabal's illegal spying on Trump. If Trump knows Durham and Barr are lying to us and protecting the Deep State/Swamp then go ahead and veto the legislation.

This is a Chicom conspiracy I can believe;
The Chinese Knew What They Were Doing in Spreading the Wuhan Virus

Steven Mosher: First of all, this is the Wuhan virus. I prefer to call it the Chinese coronavirus, and actually the full title is the Chinese Communist Party’s coronavirus because let’s follow the bread crumbs. Back in November, there were the first cases of the coronavirus in the city of Wuhan. By December, the National Health Commission of the government of China had sent a commission down to investigate this new strain of pneumonia. They knew they had problems. On January 1st, they closed down all the military bases in and around Wuhan. They didn’t tell the people of China; they didn’t tell the world, but they closed down the military bases … the police force was protected, the military was protected from the virus. Then several million Chinese left the center of the epidemic, went throughout China, throughout the world, spreading the virus everywhere. Only after the horse had left the barn did they close the barn door. So everybody who is a victim of the coronavirus … everybody who dies as a result of the coronavirus is a victim of the Chinese Communist Party. One more thing as an American that really gets my goat … and this is that the Chinese Communist Party is now whispering that the cause … the original source of the coronavirus was the United States of America. [Supposedly,] we sent it over with the military athletes who participated in the military games from October 17th through 20th in Wuhan. That’s the story that they’re currently spreading.

He is right. I was absolutely unaware of this situation until about a year ago, when one of my blood pressure medicines got recalled and replaced. It was made in China and contained a carcinogen. Then I started digging, and was shocked!

This is the fault of the news media, and they are to blame.

Puerto Rico used to make most of the meds. They still have the plants, facilities, and skilled workers, and could use the income.

What are we seeing? Step back, step way back.

The wuflu, the corona virus, COVID-19, whatever, what if it is a deliberate act of war designed to take down President Trump, the "America First" agenda, and ultimately, once and for all, America?

All the globalists are on the same side. That side is opposite of President Trump's agenda. He is a threat to the international globalist order. He has been turning the world ever so slowly. Think Brexit, think other efforts of peoples striving for autonomy. He is inspiring peoples everywhere.

Mueller failed to stop President Trump.

Impeachment failed, and failed to stop President Trump.

Globalists, "he must be stopped." From Wall Street to Brussels, to Red Square, to Davos, to Tehran, to Bejing.

Who is standing in the way of a new world? One man. Kill the economy, force voters to break with the man.

Probably wargamed in earnest last spring (2019) after the earlier trade negotiations, the deal which was overruled.

The ChiComs have no concern for the short-term loss in population inside or outside their border.

Multi-layered. No plan precisely survives implementation, but what we are seeing is just not seat-of-the-pants response.

The entire project is following an arc.

What's next?

Asked if Trump's travel ban will reduce coronavirus spread, top health official Fauci says, 'a firm yes'

Speaking before Congress on Thursday, the highly respected director of the National Institutes of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, Dr. Anthony Fauci, threw his support behind President Donald Trump's recently announced ban on travel from Europe to the United States.

When asked point blank by Rep. Jimmy Gomez (D-Calif.) if the travel ban would significantly reduce the spread of community cases, Fauci relied with "a firm yes," according to ABC News.

"Because if you look at the numbers, it's very clear that 70% of new infections in world are coming from that region, from Europe," Fauci continued. "Of the 35 or more states that have infections, 30 of them now, most recently, have gotten them from a travel-related case from that region."

Fauci went on to describe the argument for banning travel from Europe "compelling."

Centers for Disease Control and Prevention Director Dr. Robert Redfield also backed the travel ban, adding that "Europe is the new China, and that's why the president made those statements."

He then mentioned that if the Dem’s already had their nominee that individual would be getting daily briefings from the administration.

It didn’t dawn on him but it sure did dawn on me. The rush to get Biden in as the nominee is an effort to secure the classified information that is made available during Presidential elections to ensure a smooth transition.

partisan concern over Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton handling classified information has created a public debate over whether they deserve to receive briefings from intelligence officials—a tradition that dates back more 60 years.

The process formally began for Clinton and Trump on Friday. But Clinton’s handling of classified information over email while she was Secretary of State was characterized as “extremely careless” by FBI Director James Comey earlier this month. And Trump has gained a reputation for his off-the-cuff candor, leading many to question whether he can be trusted not to reveal national security information.
