Biden wins big on Super Tuesday. Wednesday, Bloomberg drops out and endorses him.
The Dem DC establishment is going to nominate in 2020 the guy they should have backed in 2016.
For my money, stopping Bernie was a very big deal. I just wish the Democrats could have rallied around a moderate who was not the pure essence of Democratic DC Establishment. We'll see if the Dems can keep Joe propped up and more or less functional until November.
Sessions is the big loser.

However, JoeMentum is continuing, and Biden could wrap up 50% plus one before Dems convene in Milwaukee (whether physically, or if the beer virus continues to scare everyone, remotely).

NEW: Ron Johnson says he’ll likely release an interim report within next 1-2 months on his cmte’s Biden probe.
He insists it has nothing to do w/ the election, but “if I were a Democrat primary voter I’d want these questions satisfactorily answered before I cast my final vote.”
Posted by: henry | March 04, 2020 at 11:32 AM
So the Establishment has spoken. Joe is it. How pathetic is this?
I am very curious to see how the whole election turned on a dime like this.
"Joe is senile", "Joe is out of touch", "Joe is a crook" turned into Joe is our savior. Now the Never Trumpers can jump on the Biden train, which is much more palatable than the Bernie train.
Any debate is going to be almost unfair. Trump will have a field day. If he can keep himself from going too far he could convince a lot more people who might go for Joe to change their minds.
And in the background lurk Giuliani and Durham.

I've been wondering if down ballot Dem candidates "got the memo" from the DNC about endorsing Biden. Sweet is supported by the Justice Dems (AOC) and Kidman is the crazy mermaid lady.

Seee-ment ties. That’s what all the track donkeys I’ve been around for the last 46 years call concrete sleepers. What I discovered about 41 yrs ago was that if your rail cars have tiny little blemishes on the running surfaces of their wheels, that when that blemish hits the railseat of a sleeper, the OTHER railseat on the opposite end will fracture from the topside, not the bottom side of the struck end. Kind of like if you ever hit a baseball in the wrong spot on the bat and it whacks you’re hands like an electric shock.
As it turns out very few civil inguneers bothered with mechanical dynamics, so when the ties cracked, they just made them bigger and not flexible enough. Fortunately some of our schools such as UIUC in Champaign Urbana, have been very aggressive about understanding the details and are getting things pointed in the right direction.

Just as an example, AP says Biden has 611K votes in Texas and 70 delegates, WaPo says he has 705K votes and 20 delegates.
AP has Bernie with 556K votes and 60 delegats, WaPo says 625K votes and 20 delegates.
AP says Warren has 1 delegate and Bloomberg has 4. WaPo says they both have 0.
