Trump's valet tests positive for coronavirus.

Here's a headscratcher - I can picture a national security argument for keeping it quiet if Trump did test positive. In fact, if Trump had tested positive but was feeling reasonably well, I could even imagine a scenario where they announce that some anonymous aide (or valet) had tested positive and the President would be cutting back on meeting and appearances as a precaution.

Obviously, there are also arguments in favor of full disclosure. Leaves me wondering, is all I'm saying.

Mr. Strzok and Ms. Page apparently celebrated the “serendipitous[]” and “amazing” fact of the FBI’s delay in formally closing out the original counterintelligence investigation. Ex. 7 at 1. Having the ability to bootstrap the calls with Mr. Kislyak onto the existing authorization obviated the need for the “7th Floor” of the FBI to predicate further investigative efforts. In doing so, the FBI sidestepped a modest but critical protection that constrains the investigative reach of law enforcement: the predication threshold for investigating American citizens.

Hi all!

Head was good until the Cold Front passed this afternoon and damn cold is right behind. I will have to take the rescue med Zofran, but that is WAY better than what it used to be (haven't taken it for weeks now).

Still gainfully employed in the Federal Civilian space, all the way thru the lock-downs. I am not out much, in that 50+ group with 3 underlying conditions.

I think Mrs. PDinD and I may have already had it after binge shopping on 3/1/2020. We were down in bed sleeping hard for 2+ days. I have seemed to spike a temp about every 5 days, but it is only 99.0-.3 (normal is 97.7, migraine is 98.3-.5).

I know 2 other couples had similar symptoms and good friend who actually had COVID-19, all had the "every 5 days flare-ups" deal. I read that reinfection can occur and be far worse much faster. The friend that had it started feeling real bad again and I told him go right away to hospital, which he did. I am grateful he is still with us.

My doctor wants me nowhere near any testing facility, and that is just fine. I am concerned that people who test positive may be labelled somehow and discriminated against. I saw some information about the military listing persons who had COVID-19 as Permanently Disqualified (or something similar).

Gotta watch the government with more than just our 5 senses now, the threats to Our Rights have been turned up to 11-ty.

The newest edition to the family: Sweet Pea!

She is a pistol...

She was one of the kittens from a feral cat in the area (and there are a bunch). Our neighbor trapped her in January just before an ice storm was going to hit. We have been working with her and her working on us. She will sleep under the covers with us and hops up on my lap when at the computer desk. Definitely a daddy's girl!

We have 2 other cats - a tuxedo male named Sylvester who is about 12 years old and a tabby female named Missy who is about 9 years old. Missy and Sweet Pea play together and Missy stands her ground when Sweet Pea ain't so sweet. She likes Sylvester but is kinda like that schoolyard girl that runs up and kisses him and runs away (and sometimes tries to chew his ears or feet off).

He is such a mellow cat and really doesn't like to fight unless it is deer in the backyard, then he goes right out to stand his turf. At 17 lbs, he could do some damage and he is plenty agile. Sweet Pea is faster than any cat I have ever seen. I guess she had to be, being all-white and a feral cat. Not my first rodeo with rescues or ferals, every cat I have ever had was an outdoor one first.

She says she thinks she will keep us, as long as I get her dinner NOW!

After this Flynn thing, no one with half a brain will ever willingly talk to the FBI again, or probably the police either.

Not to go off on a tangent, but I was once awakened in the middle of the night by banging on my front and back doors, and I think also a window. After stumbling out of bed I realized that there were multiple police cars outside my house, lights blazing. I put my pants on inside out, went to the front door and was met by three state troopers, who claimed that a woman across the street had heard a woman screaming and then gunshots and then no more screaming.

"Are there any firearms in the house," one asked?

"Yes, but none have been fired recently, and by the way I have a carry permit."

"Is there a woman in the house?" (I had a 10-acre property with wetlands as a moat, so it was an isolated location.)

"Unfortunately no," I answered.

"May we come in and look around to make sure?" he asked.

Would I ever agree to that again? No way after what we've learned the past few years. They could have been there to plant something to frame me, but I did let them in that time.

In fact, they were quite polite and professional, and didn't even wake up my son (which was my one condition), who was laying on his bed on his back, no covers, legs spread in his Pokemon underwear.

I ended up calling their senior officer and commending them the next day while asking about the case. It seems the woman might have been overhearing someone else's TV. :-/

Anyway, those days are over. Get a warrant or get the f lost. Thanks, Comey.

Seems fairly obvious to me Flynn had authorization to discuss the sanctions. The claim Flynn got fired because he lied to Pence still fails the smell test.
