Joe Biden's climate plan. Not as crazy as Bernie's! Still pretty woke though. Biden backs next-gen modular reactors, so there's that small bit of hope.

Climate kabuki. Fossil fuels will be key for the foreseeable future. Nuke could help tremendously, except that a boisterous nuke program will probably be stymied by the same people wailing about the need for "clean" energy. Most of the rest is governmental graft.
Perhaps DARPA is conducting research that will ultimately produce alt-energy. Mask or no mask, I'm not holding my breath.

I'm going to make a wild guess: The next gen reactors will be subservient to AOC led incentives for windmills.

On the NY Times' attempt to get Biden out of the debates with the fact checking proposal: I think the fact checking idea for the debates would work under the right framework. My idea: Trump picks a fact checker, and Biden picks one. After the debate, the fact checkers duke it out for an hour. Probably more entertaining than the debate itself.
My suggestion to Trump for his fact checker: Kayleigh McEnaney.

I missed this from Tuesday, but Ronnie Jackson, former WH physician and Trump supporter, won his primary run off against the usual GOPe stooge. Of course, Trump went in big for Jackson who came really from no where to knock off his more "Republican connected" opponent.
Poll trolls love themselves some liberal polls, but you never hear about how, when there is real voting, the other side is getting simply shelled...you have to look for it.

https://www.nytimes.com/1984/04/08/magazine/the-expanding-empire-of-donald-trump.html
A New York Times reporter followed him around and this is a really fascinating piece, in which you can learn some things like this:
"He says that his concern for nuclear holocaust is not one that popped into his mind during any recent made-of-television movie. He says that it has been troubling him since his uncle, a nuclear physicist, began talking to him about it 15 years ago.
His greatest dream is to personally do something about the problem and, characteristially, Donald Trump thinks he has an answer to nuclear armament: Let him engotiate arms agreements - he who can talk people into selling $100 million properties to him for $13 million. Negotiations is an art, he says and I have a gift for it."
No subscription or fee required. Its from an article in their magazine in 1984, when they didn't think he was evil or stupid. He also probably saved New York City.

Philly sports radio WIP is saying right now that The Washington Post is readying a blockbuster expose in Washington Redskins owner Dan Snyder, not directly related to the changing of the team's name.
They wouldn't hint at what the rumors are, because the story is being 'vetted by the lawyers' for the usual Post accuracy, but Twitter tweets are saying Snyder is being investigated on sex trafficking allegations.
'He was on Epstein's list,' says a Hip Magazine tweet, which says Jay Gruden, Jaguars' offensive coordinator, was on the same list.
Which makes you wonder if Snyder ultimately was blackmailed into changing the team name (which of course is about to be changed).

This just came in over the transom and is not verified. Maybe someone here can validate.
The Japanese professor of physiology or medicine, Professor Dr Tasuku Honjo, caused a sensation today in the media by saying that the corona virus is not natural. if it is natural, it will not have affected the whole world like that. Because, depending on the nature, the temperature is different in different countries. if it were natural, it would only have affected countries with the same temperature as China. instead, it spreads to a country like Switzerland, the same way it spreads to desert areas. whereas if it were natural, it would have spread in cold places, but would have died in hot places. I have done 40 years of research on animals and viruses. It is not natural. It is manufactured and the virus is completely artificial. I have been working for 4 years in the Wuhan laboratory in China. I know all the staff of this laboratory well. I called them all after the Corona accident. but, all of their phones have been dead for 3 months. It is now understood that all of these laboratory technicians are dead. Based on all of my knowledge and research to date, I can say this with 100% confidence that Corona is not natural. It did not come from bats. China made it. if what I say today turns out to be false now or even after I die, the government can withdraw my Nobel Prize. but China is lying and this truth will one day be revealed to all. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tasuku_Honjo

Also, the numbers of infected people coming illegally across the border seems high.

So the faulty numbers caused by increased testing because the media no longer regards allergy issues as distinct from covid so people panic. Plus mixing antibodies with current cases in the covid positive numbers. Plus repeated stories of people who were NEVER tested being told they were positive are all being used to shut down in person learning so that these metro school districts have to go virtual and use the competency-based templates their personnel have been travelling the nation and world hyping what they are piloting that is cutting edge becomes mandatory.

IMO 2020 demonstrates pretty plainly how the chimps and orangutans take over the world.
If a bug is widespread and you don't have a vaccine or cure, it's gonna do what it's gonna do. You can spread it out or get it over with but you can't eradicate it.
That most of humanity, including those dumbshits in charge, cannot recognize that and is cowering in their homes and demanding more meaningless rules to make them feel safe has brought me to the conclusion that collectively we are by the barest margin not sitting in trees eating bananas and flinging feces and we seem to be closing the gap downward at a pretty goof clip.
Bring back Devo because the theory of devolution seems to have considerable merit.
