And that will be the spark because that theft will be the one thing that eliminates the American half of the electorate's path to a redress of its grievances.
And it will fail. You can silence and politically emasculate half of a heavily armed country or you can have peace. You can't do both. And if they try to sow the wind of disarming the American half before or while doing the silencing we will all be living in the whirlwind.

On another note, an old racing bud, Doug Roe, raced them with extraordinary success. He was lead test engineer at GM proving grounds and had access to prototype parts. In one race on a fairly short track, he beat an old CanAm Group 7 car! He also ran Pikes Peak several times.

Prayers to all. Miss M, I think I mentioned here before that my FIL lives in a senior apt not too far from here. His life was a bit of a mess prior to moving in. He's much happier there!

Peter, Congrats, and I feel what you are going through with your son. My son went to Bates freshman year, and was placed with the most popular jock in the smallest room, on the party floor. Bad match up. Anything goes at college, except finding a new roommate. Anyway, he transferred to umASS (thanks CH for that moniker) and was quite happy, and decided to major in English. Convinced us that going back to Bates for 2nd semester would be just fine. Lasted two days. (For the record hubs thought it was a mistake - I went to Bates, so I was for it) Home for second semester last year, and had a tough time. Over trained and had deep muscle injuries, and took care of some other medical issues. Finally, back to umASS and sent home in March. Senior year this year. It's been a tough ride. I keep reminding him that at least he hasn't been shipped off to fight in some jungle on the other side of the planet (keeps things in perspective). Anyway, he's the best he's ever been now. This year certainly has seen him mature. He has his LIC and is not sure of his future, but knows he wants to live in a free USA. I think college is harder than ever for young men these days.

Aside - Hubs is fed up with all the BLM and Biden signs. He just stuck a Trump/Pence sign in the middle of the 8' privet hedge! Figures it's harder to steal was up there! As far as I know it's the only one in this area of town.

Yes, what is going on at the colleges is quite cruel to the psyche and any good way of fitting in to a new place. Will do as you requested.

On the mask mandate, I have to laugh at the people who put on a mask to do the outdoor yoga class each weekend in a courtyard area that allows plenty of distancing and its uncrowded adjacent parking lot. Instead of just avoiding people and setting up their mat, they put on their masks before leaving their cars where they walk to set up their mats before then taking off mask just before class. They then put it back on before walking alone with no one around back to their car.

Told hubby and he said "guess we know how they are voting." People think they are showing their virtue. Instead they are showing themsleves to be silly people.
