Call me a cockeyed optimist, but I find myself recalling stats from Trump rallies, which sometimes almost seem to include more Democrats than Republicans. Can you register as an Independent in Fla?

For myself, I don't even really try to read the tea leaves. I've always thought all the "historical" numbers people assert to be meaningful, rarely extend very far back, and don't include much in the way of identifiable cause & effect. Almost any of us could come up plausible-sounding reasons a stat like that could be significant or inconsequential, good news or bad.

It's all too much of a roller coaster for me, and at this point, we'll know the answer soon enough, or #two weeks.
