The data seem pretty hard to refute that we are seeing historic turnout.

Texas is already at 59% of 2016 turnout after only one week of early voting in person! And Rs are crushing it, 52-39.

2016 turnout percentage was higher than 1980 which was the last time an incumbent was soundly beaten. 2020 looks to be significantly higher than 2016.

I don't see an anti-incumbent narrative here at all.

The only complication is CHYNA VYRUS which might mean more votes are banked early rather than on Election Day. But only one party seems heavily invested in voting early (Dems say they're voting early 2:1 over Republicans).

TX data suggest that even with Dems voting early (like every lib friend I have here in Austin) they're not coming close.

Hi all, long day! Owen had another seizure while I was watching him today. So I think he'll be put on anti-seizure meds while they try to figure it put. I've seen a lot of seizures in the prison but I don't remember being as rattled as I was today. It only lasted about a minute but it was tough watching him shake like that.
