Why hasn't Miss Bardahl made any campaign appearances to act like a loon? Detox?

Since I mention predictit.org, I'd note that the participants (and the organization) seem to have a leftwing bias. Right now they have Biden at $0.64, and that hasn't budged in the past few days. Here's what they sent me in an e-mail:

There are just two weeks until Election Day and Democratic nominee Joe Biden holds a 24¢ lead over President Donald Trump.

Trump is planning to hold campaign rallies nearly every day until Election Day, a brisk return to the campaign trail after he tested positive for COVID-19 earlier this month. Biden is following a strategy of less intense campaigning.

"Less intense campaigning." LOL.

Didn’t we fund DARPA?

Tony Shaffer
Weaponized technology developed for DoD by DARPA to target foreign threats is being used by @StanMcChrystal to target political targets on behalf of Lyin @JoeBiden. This abuse is similar to that of the FISA abuse/illegal targeting of @carterwpage in 2016

Defeat Disinfo Political Action Committee (PAC) is a left-of-center organization leveraging artificial intelligence (AI) technology to combat alleged disinformation from President Donald Trump. The PAC was founded by activist Curtis Hougland, a former contractor for the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA). [1] Hougland claims that President Trump’s agenda is killing Americans. [2] The PAC is supporting Obama administration Vice President Joe Biden’s 2020 Presidential campaign. [3]

Scene from a Kamala drive-by rally today in Orlando:

Ignatz Ratzkiwatzki

--peter, I hate to say this, but the "minimal symptoms" people are the most dangerous because they have no idea that they were contagious until after they have successfully spread the virus around.--

Is that correct?
Anonomom, I thought, had indicated those with minimal or no symptoms had a low enough viral load that they had a hard time infecting anyone.
I know that Chinese study found it was close to impossible for the asymptomatic to spread it, but also those who went on to develop symptoms that were merely mild or minimal also had a pretty hard time spreading it even to those they lived with.
The large majority of infections came from those who had prolonged close contact with those who had significant fever, cough, etc. There may be a short period in which those who will go on to develop significant symptoms are highly contagious but I'm not sure because I don't think it takes all that long for the body to react with symptoms to a large viral load.

I guess we'll find out when peter let's us know how many coworkers get sick

Dave (in MA)

Why couldn't we get Wes Welker?

Hey! The guy moved my SIM card to my old phone while they are repairing my new phone so I can call you guys whenever I want! So watch out! (Actually my biggest concern was all my appointments including next week's surgery are in that phone, and as you know, my memory is toast).

Happy early birthday Narc! When is it?

Steve Bannon is the guy who planned and executed the revelation of Hunter - our October surprise. He has said their is lots and lots more to come.

Thursday, yes the card is the phone (the data component anyways

Any deck the commission proffered was going to come up snake eyes.

So they went after bannon aug 20, hinted at going after gu, derkach two weeks later you see a pattern then there was the memorial day kerfluffle around that time.

Good news for Trump assuming the analysis is correct.

The Democrat supported lockdowns are suppressing the votes of college students.

More BS from the Washington Post:

Probably so:

(Actually my biggest concern was all my appointments including next week's surgery are in that phone, and as you know, my memory is toast)
Do your various doctors/hospitals/clinics use MyChart (the Epic product) or something similar for a patient portal? If they do, you can set up your account and log in and all of your info will be there. With one click you can copy the details for each appointment into your calendar.

DARPA funds a great deal of behavioral science and the art of manipulation research and has for decades. They were actually the co-sponsors of a program involving a search engine giant sub-guess who-- bragging about doing for students' minds and personalities what they had done for maps. Where are we vs desired instilled characteristics.

That one was so breathtaking I had to relisten to get a complete set of notes.

Speaking of which, I think part of the ed tech and media running interference for the bidens and hillary and bo before that is the crucial role to gain the needed "shared reality". I wrote about it here so we could use the template as it is needed.

It's scary that those nutjobs live in their own separate reality where they are convinced the Fake News is "The Truth". Trump winning re-election is the #1 most important thing right now but at some point someone has to figure out how to convince these people they have been brainwashed with disinformation otherwise they will continue to be a threat to a civil society.

This sucks.

BREAKING: Barron County judge hearing Tavern League case challenging @GovEvers limits on public, indoor gatherings denies request for temporary injunction preventing its enforcment.

Judge James Babler also rejected request from those challenging the order to stay his ruling so plaintiffs could file an emergency appeal.

Babler said earlier TRO granted by another judge ahead of today's hearing shouldn’t have been issued.

See today's PM Update for more.

The Democrat supported lockdowns are suppressing the votes of college students.

I've been saying this all along, although I wouldn't use "suppressing" because these students are just as able to vote this year as they are in any other year.

They just aren't being *whipped* to vote like they usually are on campus by peers and various campus groups hectoring them daily.

But it certainly is one beautiful example of the Dems getting bitten in the ass by their own lockdowns.

From Iggy's 11:53:

On April 12, 2019, a man who calls himself Hunter Biden enters a Wilmington, Del., Mac repair shop with three “liquid-damaged” computers just before closing time. The owner says one computer is beyond repair. Another has a fried keyboard, so the owner gives Hunter a spare keyboard.

The third laptop, a MacBook, is salvageable. Hunter signs a work order to confirm he wants him to fix it and provides contact details.

Interesting that all three were "liquid-damaged." WTF? Any flooding in Delaware in April that we know of? One doesn't even like to speculate.

That’s the danger of the mind arson rse details. They literally do not have the mental tools to understand. Those tools have been deliberately destroyed by our rotten educational system and toxic culture.

Robin, eff 'em all

At this point they're just sitting in a classroom on Zoom with the teachers who are at home - I think. Maybe they have one of their teachers in the classroom with them. Not sure yet but will find out later of course.

Ah Porch, I'm so relieved for you. Our girl (9th grade) is going in two days per week and it's been wonderful to see her excited. She's very social. Half of her teachers are in person, the other half remote. All are teaching to a mixed group of in-person and remote students. The teachers are complaining about how much work they're doing, aside from the truly stellar educators who are figuring out systems on the fly. One in-person teacher told the students repeatedly, "I'm so happy to have you here in the classroom."

It's a crazy time. I keep telling our girl, "you are learning flexibility and accountability - and you can see with your own eyes what happens when you don't have that in the workplace. Look at your teachers who are complaining to you all non-stop without considering how that affects your performance."

The kids figure out quickly how to push the envelope with social distancing and are having a grand time insisting on being outside for "safety."

matt - deplore me if you must

1 - There is a chain of custody for the computer. Hunter Biden did drop it off. There is a receipt, I'm sure, usually signed.

2 - the Biden family 4 days later are still silent and Joe has gone into hiding.

3 - The lying press is doing their best and going to absurd lengths to discredit what we can see with our own eyes.

4 - The evidence in the computer confirms exactly why Trump asked the Prime Minister of Ukraine to authorize an investigation.

That's a hell of a thing, innit?

We had notoriously long lines in metro ATL last week and I decided to check saturday wait time hoping others wouldn't realize polls were open.

Local library where the diva had a wait time of close to 2 hours on wednesday afternoon was showing 3 minute wait early saturday afternoon. I practically ran out of the house and met a few others who had realized NO One was there but poll workers all over the county. I was in and out in less than 15 minutes.

Red and hubby discovered same thing yesterday. We speculated as to why no one in the media was publicizing that throughout the weekend voting was practically a walk in and vote immediately affair.

Very odd.

Captain Hate

We've been subjected to disinformation all our lives, including Disney getting most of the country to believe lemmings periodically commit mass suicide, which is an utter horseshit fabrication.

Ignatz Ratzkiwatzki

That John Paul Mac Isaac guy sounds a bit eccentric but there is a perfectly simple solution to MJW's point re what Hunter's lawyer's email says.
Isaac says Hunter's lawyer called up and wanted Hunter's computers back.
Somebody ask the lawyer if that's what he did.
If he says yes, the question of provenance is pretty much over.
If he says no then he may be telling the truth or he may be lying and he is a lawyer so...
If he says no-comment see "If he says yes..."

Also on point--

Like Facebook, Twitter is blocked in China. And, like its much bigger social media brother, Twitter makes a lot of the ad revenue for its shaky business model from China.

"Helping Chinese companies expand their visibility overseas has been one of the fastest-growing businesses for Twitter," a China Twitter executive claimed.

The so-called China Export Market has been driving Twitter’s ad revenues.

And, also like Facebook, it’s not just products that are being exported. During the Communist dictatorship’s crackdown on Hong Kong, Xinhua ran ads on Twitter defending the repression.

This wasn’t too surprising considering that Twitter’s first China boss had worked for the People's Liberation Army and then on a joint venture with the Ministry of Public Security.

After Twitter was shamed into pulling the ads, the Communist dictatorship threatened to cut off its ad revenues. The message was clear. China was in control of Twitter’s cash flow.

That’s why Big Tech companies can be banned in China and still be at its mercy.

The Communist regime controls a huge portion of their revenues and their future. A Big Tech company with no pathway to expanding in China won’t attract the investors to grow. That’s how China can make or break any of the Big Tech businesses it keeps dangling on its little finger.

The real foreign election interference is coming from China. Big Tech companies are just doing the dirty work of the Communist dictatorship. China’s Communist leaders don’t even need to say anything. The message is clear. The only way forward for them is through Joe Biden.

That’s why Big Tech is far more driven to defeat President Trump and elect Joe Biden and its election interference has become much more blatant than it was in the previous election.

From Clarice’s 11:00 post:

Obama paid-off Joe w/ VP position (knowing he would use it for $$$) as a pay-back for Joe's work covering the passport issue in '07/08. Biden was Chair of Senate Foreign Relations Committee with jurisdiction over the State Dept. breech....

I am still more inclined to believe the blackmail Biden used against Obama was the Larry Sinclair revelation. Biden’s son Beau threatened Sinclair out of existence. Obama owed Biden big time for that. Obama’s passport issue was sanitized by the Greater Swamp and Obama was obligated to Brennan for that coverup.

Fast forward to 2020 and Kamala Harris brags about how she and Beau used to talk everyday and we’re best of friends. Then Biden picks her. The same blackmail that Biden used against Obama gets used against Biden.

Devon Archer!

Picking that cackling airhead that nobody likes was more worthy of Schmidt and Wallace than their actual choice of Palin, the one smart thing those dolts did.

My son and d-i-l are thrilled with my granddaughters new school. Her kindergarten class has two days of virtual stuff and two days of classroom, not sure about the fifth day. Anyway, my son told Hadley to tell Bumpa (me) what fiction means, she said not real. Then she told me the definition of non fiction. I was impressed.

Speaking of virtual meetings, I just got off the phone with my cardiac doc. I told him I really love these virtual doctor's visits, I just had a cigar and a cup of coffee in the waiting room. He wasn't impressed.

So Joe is calling a lid until Thursday. I just checked Kamala's schedule. It's pretty light as well. A visit to Florida today and a visit to North Carolina on Wednesday. They've got to get their stories straight, and rest up Joe, and get him to memorize his obfuscating answers. This exchange from the September debate is more illuminating now: President Donald J. Trump: (22:09)
China ate your lunch, Joe. And no wonder your son goes in and he takes out billions of dollars. He takes out billions of dollars to manage. He makes millions of dollars. And also, while we’re at it, why is it just out of curiosity, the mayor of Moscow’s wife gave you a son three and a half million dollars?

Vice President Joe Biden: (22:28)
That is not true.

President Donald J. Trump: (22:28)
What did he do to deserve it? What did he do with-

Vice President Joe Biden: (22:31)
None of that is true.

President Donald J. Trump: (22:31)
… to deserve $183,000?

Chris Wallace: (22:31)
Sir, you’ve asked him a question, let him answer it.

Vice President Joe Biden: (22:37)
None of that is true.

President Donald J. Trump: (22:38)
Oh really, he didn’t get three and a half million?

Chris Wallace: (22:39)
Mr. President-

Vice President Joe Biden: (22:40)
Is totally-

Chris Wallace: (22:41)
Mr. President, please. You’ve asked a question- [crosstalk 00:22:41]

Vice President Joe Biden: (22:41)

President Donald J. Trump: (22:45)
Well wait, he didn’t get three and a half million dollars, Joe?

Vice President Joe Biden: (22:48)
Mr. Vice-

President Donald J. Trump: (22:48)
He got three and a half million-

Chris Wallace: (22:49)
Mr. President.

President Donald J. Trump: (22:49)

Vice President Joe Biden: (22:50)
That is not true.

President Donald J. Trump: (22:51)
Oh, really?

Chris Wallace: (22:51)
Mr. President, it’s an open discussion. Please- [crosstalk 00:22:56]

President Donald J. Trump: (22:56)
It’s a fact.

Vice President Joe Biden: (22:57)
It is not a fact.

Chris Wallace: (22:57)
Well, you have raised an issue, let the Vice President answer.

Vice President Joe Biden: (23:00)
It’s been totally discredited.

President Donald J. Trump: (23:01)
Did Burisma pay him 183,000 a month, with no experience in energy?

Chris Wallace: (23:06)
Mr. President-

Vice President Joe Biden: (23:07)
My son did nothing wrong at Barisma-

President Donald J. Trump: (23:10)
I think he did.

Chris Wallace: (23:10)
Mr. President, let him answer. [crosstalk 00:23:13].

Vice President Joe Biden: (23:11)
He doesn’t want to let me answer, because he knows I have the truth. His position has been totally thoroughly discredited-

President Donald J. Trump: (23:20)
By who?

Vice President Joe Biden: (23:20)
And you can-

President Donald J. Trump: (23:20)
The media.

Vice President Joe Biden: (23:20)
by everybody. Well, by the media, by our allies.

President Donald J. Trump: (23:23)
By the media, because they refuse to talk about it-

Vice President Joe Biden: (23:23)
By the World Bank-

President Donald J. Trump: (23:24)
… because they’re embarrassed.

Vice President Joe Biden: (23:27)
By everyone, has discredited. And matter of fact [crosstalk 00:23:30] Matter of fact-

Chris Wallace: (23:30)

Big Time China Whore Bailed Out Biden in Iowa As we saw last Thursday, this backer is no longer an outlier.

Later in that September debate:
. And speaking of my son, the way you talk about the military, the way you talk about them being losers and being and just being suckers. My son was in Iraq. He spent a year there. He got the Brown Star. He got the Conspicuous Service Medal. He was not a loser. He was a Patriot and the people left behind there were heroes.

President Donald J. Trump: (47:39)

Vice President Joe Biden: (47:39)
And I resent-

President Donald J. Trump: (47:40)
Are you talking Hunter, are you talking about Hunter.

Vice President Joe Biden: (47:42)
I’m talking about my son, Beau Biden, you’re talking about Hunter?

President Donald J. Trump: (47:44)
I don’t know Beau. I know Hunter. Hunter got thrown out of the military. He was thrown out dishonorably discharged.

Vice President Joe Biden: (47:51)
That’s not true he was not dishonorably discharged.

President Donald J. Trump: (47:53)
For cocaine use. And he didn’t have a job until you became vice president.

Vice President Joe Biden: (47:56)
None of that is true.

President Donald J. Trump: (47:56)
Once you became vice president he made a fortune in Ukraine, in China, in Moscow and various other places.

Vice President Joe Biden: (48:01)
That is not true.

President Donald J. Trump: (48:04)
He made a fortune and he didn’t have a job.

Vice President Joe Biden: (48:07)
My son like a lot of people at home had a drug problem. He’s overtaking it. He’s fixed it. He’s worked on it. And I’m proud of him, I’m proud of my son.

President Donald J. Trump: (48:17)
But why was he given tens of millions of dollars?

Vice President Joe Biden: (48:19)
He wasn’t given tens of millions of dollars. [crosstalk 00:48:23] It was all discredited.

Chris Wallace: (48:27)
We’ve already been through this. I think the American people would rather hear about more substantial subjects. Well, as the moderator, sir, I’m going to make a judgment call here.

President Donald J. Trump: (48:35)
I know but when somebody gets three and a half million dollars from the Mayor of Moscow.

Vice President Joe Biden: (48:39)
That is not true. That report is totally discredited.

President Donald J. Trump: (48:43)
Why did he get it?

Vice President Joe Biden: (48:45)
Mitt Romney on that committee said it wasn’t worth taxpayer’s money. That report was written for political reason.

Chris Wallace: (48:50)
I’d like to talk about climate change.

Documents and videos from the US Attorney's office reveal text messages used to plan the plot, hand-drawn maps, surveillance photos of Whitmer's properties, plans for getaway vehicles, and in one case, video of some kind of "dry run" in... a Chrysler PT Cruiser
Here are the only reasons I would recommend a PT Cruiser (which, by the way, Chrysler discontinued in 2009, and which nobody particularly misses):

1. Planning insurance fraud—leave the key in the ignition parked in a rough part of your town and say it was stolen. Earn a cool $500.
2. Getting a clingy partner to break up with you. Show up to their house acting all excited about your “hot new car” and you won’t need toxic wedding envelope glue. Make sure to keep all the fast-food wrappers, cigarette butts, and empty soda bottles the previous owner left strewn about the cabin.
3. Social distancing. Nobody will want to be around you when you drive a PT Cruiser. If we all drove one of these, we could put the coronavirus down for good.

A decent lineup of comments from Cashill:

Jane, my wife took her iphone swimming this summer and killed it. It was submerged for a long time. We tried the rice thing but all that did was plug up the power receptacle with a couple of grains. Hopefully, yours can be repaired.

Off to rake leaves.

He got the Brown Star.

I think Sundown meant the Bronze Star, unless he was talking about his running mate's brown starfish.

Dave (in MA)

I drove a PT Cruiser handed down from my wife, for several years. I liked it. It had a really big storage capacity with the seats removed.

I was already driving an old Rav4 that was also handed down, but I kept both, so we had 3 cars for a while until the Rav rusted out.
We turned in the PT so she could get a secondhand Lexus, so I got handed down her Volvo. That rusted out and I now have a Kia Soul, my first new car in 35 years.

Peter, your 9:49 is interesting. It's sort of related to our granddaughters being quarantined from school for 14 days. In our case (and I'll call the grans, the girls, that's how we speak of them.)

Almost two weeks ago, the girls and about 15 or so other pupils were sent 'letters' that they had been exposed to the virus and couldn't come to school or on school property (football games, etc.) for 14 days. The girl who had the virus had symptoms mimicking allergies. She is fine.

However, all of the parents of these quarantined kids only considered them quarantined from school. None stayed home. They visited, shopped, had overnight slumber parties, etc. All or most of them had siblings.

After a few days, my husband started going and picking up our grandson and bringing him here for his bacon sandwich and 'How To Train A Dragon' videos on Netflix -- as he's done for the past two school years. This morning he had a runny nose and was sneezing. The girls are fine, have never had a cough or cold, etc.

My question has always been -- so, if the school thinks these quarantined kids are 'dangerous' in some way, what is the procedure. Couldn't any of them have the virus and show no symptoms? When I felt my grandson's head this morning to see if he had a fever, was that stupid? (He didn't, and I gave him a t. of Benadryl, even though I was worried it would make him sleepy. He was here from 7:30 until 8:20 -- school starts at 8:30. He doesn't wear a mask at school -- he's wearing a shield (that he got from us, my sister gave me two, one for my husband and one for me -- our grandson thought the shield would be better than a mask.) He had told us 'the teacher gives them breaks from wearing the mask'.

My husband has taken the three grandchildren to school in the mornings for several years -- the girls go to two different places, one to the freshman academy and one to high school. Then he brings the 5th grader here.

So, in my mind, instead of protecting anyone (the bigger community) if they thought the school kids were potential spreaders, all they protected were the teachers but they were willing to spread the virus out into some 14 homes and on to anyone interacting among the larger circles of people.

The karen who is superintendent and over the poor school kids in Tulsa (city proper, not outlying districts), who is almost a dead ringer for that Michigan governor, has just made the decision to let Tulsa kids go back to school. She thought it was too risky back in mid-August, so those children have been at home for two months. She really reminds me of a pale vampire.
Common sense dictates that there will be increased cases now in those children because they've been sequestered at home. After that happens, the left can nod their heads and say schools shouldn't have been opened.

Tulsa, Oklahoma City, Norman are all trending left now days. I've sent $200 to Jim Inhofe -- he's got some fat-faced blonde leftist backed by Elizabeth Wareen demanding he debate her. She says he's doddering and too old. She wants to lead our state. F*ck that.

Are we all crazy? Or, better yet, are the policy makers at every level obsessed and crazy? None of the directives are consistent. Most make no sense.

I thought PT Cruisers looked neat; they reminded me of English Ford Anglias guys at the dragstrips used to put big block Chevy engines in and run as modified Gas coupes. I'm sure their wheelbases were too short to run as funny cars, which have become dragsters with a fiberglass body shell.

the thing that i can't quite believe is that he could have been that dumb (ie leaving a computer at a repair shop then forgetting it). yep, he was a bag man for the obama administration and the office of the vice president and he left his notes about all the corruption on various computers without encryption or at least password protecting some files. so in addition to being rotten to his core, he's dumb too.

(i've dumped a beer on my laptop and had to replace the keyboard so taking it to a shop is believable).

From that DOJ press release:

The department is also grateful to Google, including its Threat Analysis Group (TAG); Cisco, including its Talos Intelligence Group; Facebook; and Twitter, for the assistance they provided in this investigation. Some private sector companies independently disabled numerous accounts for violations of the companies’ terms of service.

Will Google, Facebook and Twitter be that cooperative for investigations into the Chinese Communist Party for similar actions?

Robin, eff 'em all

This made me laugh out loud. The president tweets about how his rallies have been "boffo" and The Donald has to define the word for some of the youngsters:

Someone archive it before merriams redefines it later today

Boffo: adj.
Of or having to do with white supremacy

"There's a shocking LACK of Biden signs out herein the People's Republic of Seattle."

NY too. I also have a few neighbors who told me they are not voting. Some of the really pissed off ones told me they are voting for Trump. That includes my one neighbor who told me that Cuomo killed his mom, who died in a nursing home of COVID. I don't think people who actually lost a loved one are buying Cuomo's bullshit. Imagine that.

James D.

we have the worst political class in our history.

I wonder. Are they truly worse, or do we just know more about how bad they are today vs the past?

I mean, the Kennedys could give any current crooks a run for their money in every category: corruption, perversion, personal loathsomeness, hideous relatives, general incompetence, you name it.

Not good news but its early: Democrats dominating early voting here in Florida: 53 % to 47%. Over 2 million ballots mailed in.

My eldest daughter, bless her soul, is book smart but politics not-smart. She's fallen for pretty much every liberal cause that comes down the pike. A Hillary voter, she says she can't vote for Biden, so she's sitting it out - may she inspire others!

What about the DOJ US Attorney in Delaware who convened the grand jury and issued a subpoena for Hunter Biden's computer? If the Feds (DOJ & FBI) were actually sitting on this bombshell to protect Biden shouldn't the DOJ be getting the bulk of the blame for the coverup?
