Didn’t Trump say we kept the oil in Syria? I recall in his campaign speeches bragging about how he thought we should have kept the oil in Iraq, and he did (in Syria?). I always doubt myself but I am pretty sure about that.

The masks, now even social distancing are a fallacy. We've been reading this for months, but today it's been proven to me. When our daughter arrived at work this morning she received this email:
During internal contact tracing investigation, it was discovered you had a high risk exposure with a confirmed case of COVID-19 on 11/12/2020.

This means that our certified contact tracer found that you either had (1) physical contact with the confirmed case, (2) close contact (within 6-feet) for 15+ minutes, or (3) proximate contact, which is to say that you were more than 6-feet apart from the confirmed case, but in the same room/area for an extended period of time.

She and her colleague and the covid case all wore masks, remained in social distance, and had their meeting in one of the large halls (high ceilings, etc.) used for receptions. The company occupational nurse interceded with the compliance officer, saying the two who don't have covid are critical to operations, and followed all of the guidelines/protocol. Compliance officer said, absolutely not.

The Georgia Secretary of State's Office has opened two investigations into Fulton County's handling of the 2020 election.

In a press conference Tuesday, elections official Gabriel Sterling said that the investigations into Georgia's largest county's "chain of custody" involving votes.

One investigation involved how Fulton County handled the reported water leak at State Farm Arena on Election Day. The second investigation involves how the county handled election monitors and observers at the arena.

Sterling said both elections concerned "managerial sloppiness which opens the door to potential problems," pointing to the possibility that votes could have been scanned and processed with no monitors in the room.

"There may be a time period where not everything was looked at at the same time," he said, noting that the investigation was to make sure that there was an observer at every point during the count.

On Monday, the Secretary of State's office announced an error found in Floyd County where 2,600 ballots were left uncounted prior to the county's initial certification. The error was discovered on Sunday during the third day of the state’s audit.

I shop where I can avoid lines and such due to covid paranoia. Not sure what else I can do. I refuse to preach on fb or twitter, or instagram. So I try my best with the people I interact with everyday. Not sure what else I can do, besides pray and prep (don’t want to disappoint Iggy). Scary world. Keep your family close, and hang in there!

Forty-five days brings us to December 18th. Is it possible that one of Trump's court challenges will result in a finding that Dominion Voting Systems software incorrectly tabulated votes? And that such tabulation is then determined to be result of a feature not a bug? Dominion Voting Systems is headquartered in Toronto.


Tom, then, maybe, pursuant to the EO, the Democrats who claimed Trump was going to go all authoritarian against them may have a point.


That 2018 EO is one of the more intriguing things out there right now.

Interesting that you mentioned that about the masks - when the first sore appeared on my eyebrow, I initially thought it could be some kind of contact rash because my glasses almost touch right there, and I'd just spent two weeks at work - with the attendant extra humidity around the eyes from wearing the mask.

I can see Trump going authoritarian, but not to the point where constitutional law is effectively destroyed. I suppose we were never very far from that point anyway, especially under Obama. And as Jim Sunny posted above, "Our backs are against the wall." Trump is with us at the wall, though.

I don't see him going quietly, but I don't see him going outlaw and wrecking that which he hoped to save. My guess (maybe hope more than guess) is he will use sanctions to financially cripple our attackers. There are all sorts of interesting things in that EO -- like stuff about disinformation. Who owns Fox News? Has Trump got people following the money?

We should know if anything is happening on that front a week before Christmas.

I had a strip of shingles blisters around the left half of my ribcage. Doc said it was classic. The old wives tale is that if it goes all the way 'round, it's fatal.

And actually, as a member of Congress, he can propose a bill to declare war to keep our troops there. Put himself on the record, convince 217 of his colleagues to go along, and then the troops can stay forever, I guess. But of course he's not going to do that.

I'm pretty much at the point that I don't care if Trump DOES completely trash constitutional governance. It's already been rotted out so badly that it's collapsing anyway.

I think I would honestly cheer if he just announced that in light of the ongoing rampant fraud and crimes on the part of the Democrats, he's declaring martial law, arresting Biden and Harris and the DNC leadership and state election officials in PA, GA, MI and whatever other states.

In war, the rules go out the window. You do whatever you have to do to force the enemy to surrender unconditionally, and then you can be gracious in victory so they can rebuild with heavy supervision in a more civilized manner.
