Seems like its Contention 4, America 0, but who knows?
Biden been declared the winner, there are too many states that aren't that close, but Trump hasn't quit.
Maybe Trump will follow the Hillary 2016 playbook - after conceding the race she joined a no-hope recount effort just to assure her supporters that every stone had been turned and then thrown.
Team Trump should spend a few minutes in Philly. Cobble together a Steal Dossier, fire up the FBI for some ludicrous FISA warrants, and away we go! Flip the House in 2022, impeach Biden... never gets old. [Uhhh, it was old the first time..]

Apropos of something (I'm pretty sure) Trump made an intriguing comment at a rally 2-3 weeks back. In the middle of one of his signature riffs, totally out of context, he said "Whatever happens, I want you to know that Bob Barr is a wonderful human being. He doesn't want to hurt anybody." I'm confident that my recollection here is nearly verbatim.

Iggy refuted me thusly on my thought about Trump 2024: "And Moses didn't didn't get to lead his people into the Promised Land because he disobeyed God in how he was to lead the people, not because he was too old."
In defense of my point, in my mind my analogy stands. Moses and Trump both were the right men at the right time to lead the people from Deep Sh*t right to the brink of the Promised Land.
Iggy notes that Moses had a policy dispute with God and God won. Joshua (?) got to lead the people down from the final mountain.
Our Promised Land must be the return to our Constitutional Checks and Balances and all those other things related to the interconnected system of rules. Warrior Trump was the right man for lots of things and I am eternally grateful for having him and would welcome him to stay for another term, but the plain fact is that he is not and never will be a Constitutional purist or close to it. This is most evident in his approach to spending, borrowing, and budgeting procedures. There are other areas where he has shown more flexibility than I think prudent too.
If we must wait until 2024, I would hope we could return closer to the organization intended at our founding. We have proven that our House of Cards does not work well if we pull cards out willy nilly and the winds blow one way or the other.

Ammo supplies and price?
.22LR. Comparatively cheap. Learning rifle markmanship and good habits is the critical thing, and that can be done with a .22.
Draw a 2 inch square on a piece of copier paper with a Sharpie. Walk that out 25 yards from your firing position. The goal is to put holes on top of holes inside that 2 inch square. When you can do that, move down to 1 inch squares. If you can do that, with some slight adjustments for ballistics and windage, you can hit a human sized target at 500 yards.
The best infantryman or Marine is generally accurate to a maximum of 500 yds without specialized training. Many Soldiers and Marines cannot reliably hit 300 m (329 yd)human-sized targets. Even less can do it from standing, sitting, kneeling, and unsupported prone positions. Even less can do it making use of cover between shots and putting out 10 rounds a minute.
Let those be your guidelines for practice.

Couldn't it be possible they are more conservative Democrats that supported Trump this time?
michaelt,
After each of the Trump rallies in the critical states under review, we heard that there were substantial numbers of democrats in attendance as well as people who hadn't voted in years. While not determinative, that information makes it extremely difficult to accept that there was a silent groundswell developing for Biden with his few and practically vacant events. I suppose they would have us believe that the vote was affected by a huge anti-Trump sentiment. Again, there was no evidence of that pre-election. It just doesn't compute.

To be honest, I didn't cancel our Thanksgiving plans over politics, it just sort of worked out that way. Being on the left, they're excessively cautious about the 'rona, so they were dillydallying about committing one way or the other. In the meantime we got an invitation from some friends who happen to be conservative, so I asked the sibs if they minded postponing a get-together for another time.
We've had numerous politics-free Thanksgivings, so it would likely have been fine, though sometimes Mrs K can't help herself and I have to shoot her a daggers stare.

1. Trump set records for support for an incumbent in the primaries.
2. Trump had a 90% approval rating within the GOP
3. Trump had a total approval rating over 50%.
4. Down ticket GOP candidates were elected but Trump wasn't.
You can make numbers do funny things but not that funny.

The remote control information says:
Compatible Models:
PN51F5500AF, PN60F5500AF, PN64F5500AF, SEK1000, UN40F6400
I would think it's probably one of those. And I assume the two digits following the PN is the screen size.
I'm not sure you need the exact model, though. I'd think any remote that works with the compatible models would work with your TV.

I did the same thing back in 2013, after I attended a conference presentation that was given by some Leftist hacks that had run the social media portion of Obama’s campaign. Blue State Digital. Man, the way Big Data was intruding on privacy and mining data to effect political outcomes was shocking, and scared the hell out of me.
But I slowly went back because there was no alternative and I enjoyed maintaining contact with family and friends.
Now, after THIS election and the extent to which they are censoring freedom of speech and opposing political thought, and especially after they have made it clear that they DESPISE people like me and would like to either eliminate me entirely or send me to a Communist-style re-education camp, it’s time to go.

with record gun sales comes record ammo sales. I would think with the '89 ban and the state bans there are a shitgob of AR & AK style firearms out there already.
Then came Obama and then the recent riots.America is, I think, heavily armed and dangerous.
90% of those folks haven't a clue of how to use their firearms. They closed the last outdoor range in our area @ 15 -20 years ago., so my long gun skills suck. That Appleseed project sounds good. 2 days of professional marksmanship training.
When I shot sporting clays competitively we used to go through a case of shells (250 rounds) a day. We would practice twice/week. I got very good at reloading.
Using a firearm properly takes a lot of practice and patience. Of course a 12 gauge can make big holes at short distances without a lot of practice.

--In defense of my point, in my mind my analogy stands.--
Your original point was that Trump will be too old in 2024. He'll be essentially the same age as Biden so I don't agree. Barring any substantial health issues a 78 year old Trump would be worth about 100 48 year old other Reps, since he is presently worth about 200 of them.
I concur [2 out of 3 today] on his lack of conservative principles in spending and the reach of government [a problem he shared with Reagan, and one that is partly thrust upon them both by the state of the nation] but the fact is a junkyard dog who turns the attitude and the basic loser philosophy of the GOP around is a lot more important at this point than particular policy issues.
I'm not saying he can or should run in 2024, only that he shouldn't be written off because the man has been a miracle worker to anybody with a desire to turn the country back to its founding principles.

We will win in spite of all this unfairness and treachery.

Using a firearm properly takes a lot of practice and patience. Of course a 12 gauge can make big holes at short distances without a lot of practice.
It's funny matt...
I was a better shotgunner back when I lived in God's Country, where there were pheasants and it mattered.
When I joined Big Green I became a better rifle marksman because THAT'S what mattered.
When my assigned weapon became mostly a pistol and only rarely a rifle, I became a good pistol marksman because THAT'S what mattered.
It's like putting, chipping, and driving: you can only practice so many things to an expert level.

He shouldn't concede until the legal remedies to the fraud have been exhausted.
I completely agree with that; I'm not sure, though, that Trump won't concede before then.

Are all the military votes counted in Georgia?
Could Perdue still pull out 50 percent plus one vote?
Earth to Georgia- change that rule pronto.

Even on the First Coast the wind is picking up, turbulent sea. When the 'Canes come they effect all of Florida no matter where they are in the State. Stay safe, stay healthy and remember no need to stock up since they are over in a 24 hour period.
Publix knows how to handle it.

Has anyone actually tried to BUY ammo lately? I have. Hard to get, here in N FL, anyway. EVERYONE has been stocking up.
What inventory I have, I’m saving for when I really need it.
Not pissing it away at the range, as much as I would like to.
Sure, I need to practice more and would love to, but I’m confident enough of my skills.
Glad I found an extra can of 1K 5.56 and another .5K of 9mm in back of my closet!

Darrell Issa also won.
The Dems advantage gets smaller and smaller.
The arrogance of Pelosi to run for Speaker again.
Crush her!

It's way too early to be talking of conceding.
Meanwhile Bite Me continues to make a fool of himself announcing Executive Orders, Ambassador appointments, etc. Democrats are not only dishonest, they have no class.
