Federated learning is a pioneering privacy-preserving data technology and also a new machine learning model trained on distributed data sets.
Companies collect huge amounts of historic and real-time data to drive their business and collaborate with other organisations. However, data privacy is becoming increasingly important because of regulations (e.g. EU GDPR) and the need to protect their sensitive and personal data. Companies need to manage data access: firstly within their organizations (so they can control staff access), and secondly protecting raw data when collaborating with third parties. What is more, companies are increasingly looking to ‘monetize’ the data they’ve collected. However, under new legislations, utilising data by different organization is becoming increasingly difficult (Yu, 2016).
Federated learning pioneered by Google is the emerging privacy- preserving data technology and also a new class of distributed machine learning models. This paper discusses federated learning as a solution for privacy-preserving data access and distributed machine learning applied to distributed data sets. It also presents a privacy-preserving federated learning infrastructure.

As this is all heating up to a level I almost cannot handle, I have been reflecting on whether/why trump would take a “let them do it and catch them” approach versus disbanding it ahead of time. It seems ridiculously risky to let the election play out and then pin hopes on a big reveal and alignment of public opinion/the courts in time to save his presidency AND THE WORLD.
In addition to being the best president of my lifetime, and a tough/savvy international businessman/operator, Trump is, don’t forget, an entertainer. This is something my husband talks about a bit, since he works in the sports/media/entertainment business. Do you recall the time Trump appeared with Vince McMahon in the ring at WWE’s wrestle mania, for the “battle of the billionaires”?
My guess is that Trump knows exactly how he wants this to unfold to the public, and it’s designed for maximum public interest. If you drop the payoff too early, it won’t stick. If you drop the payoff without proper buildup, no one will notice. And there needs to be a visual.
That’s my hope, anyway. At this point, the teases from Lin Wood/ Sidney Powell et al are WAY too bold to walk back. So this is either going to be a fail of epic proportions, or a win of epic proportions.

Maybe, or maybe Trump is just playing the "And I Hope You Don't Like It" game where he never lets up about being robbed, or Hunter, Schiff, Comey et al. Right up until he declares his candidacy for President.

"Resilience" is the word they keep using for students too. Our students are developing resilience in the face of COVID adversity.
There's a word I have grown to detest.
Robin (actually both Robins!) "resilience" is one of those key tell words like "sustainability" where they tell us exactly what they are breaking.
As a college faculty spouse for the last 28 years my observation is that the old original meaning of the word "resilience" is a word that zeroes in on a key factor in the deterioration of college students over the last generation.
Every year the students get more and more fragile.
Getting them to show up for class is increasingly difficult. Getting them to put in the sustained effort on ANYTHING (as opposed to working hard, which is much less of a problem.) Ground zero for this in DrF's world is them learning quantum mechanics. They need to show up for every class and do all of the homework in order to learn it!
And the irrational CCPv-excused totalitarianisms are like a spear thrown into this particularly vulnerable spot. A huge part of college (heck, a huge part of school and life starting with kindergarten!) is that just showing up is a big part of the battle, and sometimes you just have to suck it up even if you have the sniffles or a headache. Well showing up for things sick is now a crime against humanity rather than a virtue.
(Another key term is "sustainability". This is honing in on a hard fact of human nature, which is that without free markets and the Rule of Law, our planet can physically keep alive maybe a billion people. What common-sense people take from this is that free markets and the Rule of Law make life-on-earth "sustainable" (original meaning of word) for the ~8 billion souls we have here. What the elites mean when THEY use the word "sustainability" is that they need to wipe out 90% of the population of the planet in order to continue their totalitarian thievery.)
In each case their perversion of the language tells you what aspect of humanity they intend to destroy. ("Equity" is another one...)
Jane, the script for Under Siege III was found in a German brothel by an AWOL US soldier who posted it online hoping to get Stephen Segal’s autograph. At which point Twitter user LadiesMan217 intercepted the script and forwarded it to Gohmert.

Also, President Trump has been fairly and uncharacteristically reticent over the last few days
Growing up my dad had a saying: in order to win, you have to allow the other guy to lose.
By which he meant that if you want someone to retreat, you have to at least leave them a path to retreat on!
I am hoping and praying that the uncharacteristic reticence we are seeing is the president offering the less-crazy dems a way out. Finding out what it is that they need, and making sure that whatever those things are don't get blown up in the heat of battle.
"When he applied for liquidation from the judge, Scytl proposed that whoever bought his assets – the company has valuable software and a skilled workforce – be the American fund Sandton Capital. However, the judge considered that the Catalan company was forcing the sale to be to this specific firm and asked that a competitive process be opened to assess whether there were better offers. That’s how Paragon’s proposal came about, which improved Sandton’s offering."
Very good comment cathy. All of those terms go to accepting that people themselves, businesses, cities, etc are all 'systems' subject to manipulation based on declared 'public policy'. The mind itself is the ultimate micro-system byt then each of the nested systems gets managed to supposedly get us to desired 'results'. The goals for all of us get imposed via another hijacked term--the 'rule of law'. It's not settled law, but tied to a normative vision of the future and hoped-for transformation.
It all ties to what I was originally going to add based on those federated learning graphics, because it ties to the election fraud.
The term is 'backwards mapping'. I see it in ed as the desired 'characteristics' of the student get declared and then experiences are provided to internally change neural wiring to get the desired end results. If you think of the mind as both a receiver and transducer it makes sense that the socialist vision for a controlled/managed society needs to control perception and the interpretation of daily experiences. There is a need for a shared belief system to "provide the common understanding and sense of collective responsibility that fuel the desired social movements" for transformational change.
That's the role of the media and ed institutions to foster and why they believe they get to declare the winner of the presidential election.
Backwards mapping is also why the vote counting had to be stopped. To realign the actual results coming in like an avalanche with the desired results that biden/harris must control the executive branch in the US for the progs/UN/ccp to have the desired result.
Now we he see how sidneys current adversary emmett sullivan is involved in this, as he was party to the last steal re stevens, can we scale this wall like the men of point du hoc?
--Robin (actually both Robins!) "resilience" is one of those key tell words like "sustainability" where they tell us exactly what they are breaking.--
That's true but they, along with most of their terms, are also those words used by the chronically insecure. An intellectually and emotionally secure movement doesn't have to couch its jargon in these infantile, reassuring phrases that are at once a soporific for their idiot minions and an implicit accusation about those things they are, as Cathy succinctly put it, breaking.
And they are to reassure themselves as well, because there is no group of people more innately and more deeply insecure than those arrogant dolts who wish to overturn all that went before and replace it with what they think is their revolutionary, shiny, brand new edition that in reality has been slinking about since the Garden.

Looking at Paul Hornung's stats, was there ever a more mediocre player in the HOF? He won a Heisman trophy on a 2 win Notre Dame team. He rushed for a whopping 3711 yards over nine seasons on a Lombardi meat grinder team behind an all pro line. His point scoring totals were padded by being a place kicker. He was suspended for a season by Rozelle for gambling back when there was a real commissioner who cared about the integrity of the game; this mutt does the impossible by making me sympathize with Hot Dog Pete.
Remember, those who are working on this don’t care about the middle-class and they have not for decades. The visibility of the ‘rust belt’ is the reference. This is about government bureaucrats using their DC power-base to control trillions in economic value and sell their ability to influence the winners and losers to the highest foreign bidder.
Look at what blue states have already done to seize power and control. Now think about that same manipulative intent spread throughout the entire country by weaponizing federal agencies with advanced regulation.
That should start to frame the reference point going forward. Remember, within totalitarian states religion is a risk… the assembly for religious worship is always considered a risk to by those who demand control over free-thought and lives.
The national legislative priority will be entirely focused on retention of that power system by generating an entirely new form of congressional representation. New states, new senators, new election systems, and funding for the needs of the executive…. that will be the focus of the facilitating legislative branch.
Those behind the executive branch; those controlling Joe Biden; will harness and weaponize the power. The legislative leftists will attempt to ensure the new systems they create under the guise of COVID-19 are never in a position to be withdrawn.
1/2. AG Barr: "I authorize you to pursue substantial allegations of voting and vote tabulation irregularities prior to the certification of elections in your jurisdictions in certain cases, AS I HAVE ALREADY DONE IN SPECIFIC INSTANCES"
That quote is from the memo AG Barr sent to all US Attorneys. Note the extreme sensitivity he insists his agency employs with this endeavor. Not the "reckless disregard" the media makes it out to be.
Since OL was accused by many of being all optimistic the other day, let me follow suit by going all glass is pretty much empty by noting the revelations of victory just around the corner due to this or that not entirely clear event sound remarkably like the ones we've heard for the last four years around Trump that never pan out.
He is not all seeing. He doesn't have things gamed out five or ten years in advance. And there is not some secret underground he has access to, to pull out a victory no matter what.
He is a remarkably capable and resilient [: )] man but a great deal of what he has done has been ad hoc reactions to the assaults of the Left or the Deep State or our enemies, whatever you want to call it. It is a huge and worldwide web of extremely powerful people and interests and arrayed against it are Trump and a few other leaders and the mass of the common man around the world. That model can never work and isn't sustainable [:(] if it is looked at as one man bringing down the crooks in four or eight years using the very system the crooks built and staffed.
It can only work as a growing movement of millions or billions that sees itself being robbed blind by the ruling class and dedicates decades to destroying them.
And so while I agree there is a greater than zero chance Trump can pull it off and it would be the best and greatest political resurrection in US history, the chances of a win through legal means are vanishingly small and the chances by other than the legal system are not greater.
And Trump is doing his best walking the minefield laid down by these criminals but he doesn't have a chart of where the mines are. And he's forced to play an ad hoc suckers game by a huge cadre of crooks. He's not engaged in some master plan just waiting to spring his inevitable Burmese tiger trap on these petty tyrants.
The work and the job is up to all of us to fight these maggots for probably many years, barring a sudden war, if it will be solved politically. There is no earthly savior. Never has been and never will be. I know people don't consider him literally a savior but in their desire to not see the crooks take the upper hand we can begin to ascribe things no one possesses to avoid that happening.

Yes, you and your husband get it. DJT understands marketing far more than the ossified turds in the ruling class do and they refuse to acknowledge that. Snotty twats like Christiane Imawhore couldn't give it away on conjugal visit day in any max security iron hotel.

Maybe they are playing rope a dope.
Maybe, or maybe Trump is just playing the "And I Hope You Don't Like It" game where he never lets up about being robbed, or Hunter, Schiff, Comey et al. Right up until he declares his candidacy for President.

Robin (actually both Robins!) "resilience" is one of those key tell words like "sustainability" where they tell us exactly what they are breaking.Posted by: cathyf | November 14, 2020 at 09:35 AM

I’m wondering if the fictional tale of a senate hearing on Presidential eligibility in 2004 that clarifies a future candidate’s hurdles, followed by a sanitizing of that candidate’s history, followed by an internet legal powerhouse, Justia, removal of significant SCOTUS holdings, followed by a Supreme Court announcement that they will “evade” the issue, followed by a fraudulent 9-layer image of an identification document posted on a Whitehouse server, followed by Savanna Guthrie being the sole person(because the other person, Loretta Fuddy, died in a mysterious way) to authentic the document seems so preposterous in light of the latest events?

Looking at Paul Hornung's stats, was there ever a more mediocre player in the HOF? He won a Heisman trophy on a 2 win Notre Dame team. He rushed for a whopping 3711 yards over nine seasons on a Lombardi meat grinder team behind an all pro line. His point scoring totals were padded by being a place kicker. He was suspended for a season by Rozelle for gambling back when there was a real commissioner who cared about the integrity of the game; this mutt does the impossible by making me sympathize with Hot Dog Pete.

Mel,
Start at the beginning. What is the tie to Sctyl?
Posted by: Jane | November 14, 2020 at 10:48 AM
Those are the stakes.
Conservative Tree House...
