My sister has a friend living with her for a few months -- she's moved from Dallas back up here and is looking for a new home. She likes caramel or salted caramel vodka -- I got her a big bottle. My thing about Byrne's truthfulness is that he talked about how President Trump is personally soft-spoken and a nice guy.

I have watched President Trump since he first declared. Yes, he is loud at rallies (as anyone would be talking to large crowds) but in interviews and interactions with private citizens, he's really soft-spoken and considerate of people.

Byrne doesn't hand out any of this crap of "despite his boorishness and vulgarity he has gotten some things done".

Merry Christmas Eve! I listened to the Carols from Kings College Chapel and then watched it on TV at 5:30. The soaring sounds were beautiful and the empty chapel made the high tones echo. But Hark the Herald Angels Sing needed the crowd.

Past years we've gone to our local church which has all the kids play a part in the nativity scene, including a teeny baby Jesus and real, huge, lumbering donkeys from a nearby farm.
