THE WRATH OF THE AWAKENED SAXON
by Rudyard Kipling

It was not part of their blood,
It came to them very late,
With long arrears to make good,
When the Saxon began to hate.

They were not easily moved,
They were icy -- willing to wait
Till every count should be proved,
Ere the Saxon began to hate.

Their voices were even and low.
Their eyes were level and straight.
There was neither sign nor show
When the Saxon began to hate.

It was not preached to the crowd.
It was not taught by the state.
No man spoke it aloud
When the Saxon began to hate.

It was not suddently bred.
It will not swiftly abate.
Through the chilled years ahead,
When Time shall count from the date
That the Saxon began to hate.

>>>I think that the rubicon that we are being dragged across is this: in the past, vote fraud was covert, gotten away with by stealth and guile. This time is different. The theft is blatant. Stealing the election is but one aspect. Just as important is that they rub our faces in the theft, and establish that 2016 was the last time that the electorate would be allowed to choose the president.

At this point @realDonaldTrump should declassify everything. Everything"

------------

Oh bullshit and all the other morning after tweets from the WH.

HE might not have figured out that just because he said to, "declassifying" does not deliver squat to WeThePeople in the DC Sawmp. But WE have. Otherwise he is just sprinkling fairy dust on his 75 million voters.

He came. He tried hard. They creamed him.

We can all thank him for the effort.

The only thing he can do now is to assemble all those "I am declassifying" documents from both coups and post them all on the internet for the world to see. A Million pages? Do it. Burn down both houses of the Uniparty before Jan 20, pardon himself and his helpers, and move on to protecting himself and his family just as the rest of us must now do.

Let the people decide upon what basis things might be rebuilt if enough people care to, but don't even pretend the Founders' Foundation remains in any actual reality.

Ignatz Ratzkiwatzki

Len from last thread;
--The Dalrymple quote above is so true. Being forced to do stupid things, like wearing a mask outside, and accept obviously wrong things, like Biden/Harris "We don't need to campaign to win!" won the election is crushing and demoralizing.

Or motivating and I'm hoping many are motivated to do even the small rebellions like businesses staying open, families getting together, accumulating arms and ammo...--

I equated the London Blitz with Dalrymple's point the other day.
I agree that purpose of both tactics is to demoralize their enemies and no doubt it does some. But I believe the overall effect is to be motivated. Being forced to live a lie or endure an outrageous attack by criminals is ultimately to so enrage your enemy he'll fight when he otherwise wouldn't have and fight with a ferocity he otherwise wouldn't have.

And people can say it hasn't happened yet so it isn't going to happen but that perspective is IMO ahistorical, dismisses or misunderstands human nature and assumes a knowledge of precisely what, how and when a people has had enough and won't take anymore, that no one has ever possessed. It is arbitrary and presumptive to believe this or that is the point a revolt would have begun and that it hasn't means it won't.

Ignatz Ratzkiwatzki

And the same thing is happening here as in DocJ's neck of the woods.
Very little compliance with Brylcreem's orders.

After the first 100 days, you won't recognize the place.

Well, I'm thoroughly demoralized, so their tactics worked for me.

And if the rest of that post is supposed to be hopeful, it's not. Because we all have to live here and now, under the rule of communist shitbags who despise us, starting in six weeks. And we already know they will do all in their power to destroy our wealth and our quality of life.

I'm sure that at some point, as you say, enough people will have enough and will fight and end up burning half the country down to oust the communists, but that's pretty cold comfort.

In the meantime, I guess it's God's will for us to be ruled by evil men and women and for us to be treated with contempt by them, and by a good portion of our neighbors, for some indefinite period going forward. Merry freaking Christmas.

Stephanie Nene Not Your Normal Granma

And so it begins...

I took Ariel to gymnastics this morning. We walked in and she needed to go to the bathroom. I took her and came back and sat down in the 50+ foot long parents area that overlooks the main gym floor from the second story. I took a swig from my water bottle and as I was removing her clothes under which her leotard was already on, I sneezed. Then coughed.

All hell broke loose by one woman seated about 40 ft away. She pitched a bitch and demanded that I leave the gym. I pulled my mask up and proceeded to mind my own business. She still persisted. All the kids were distracted and the parents were studiously ignoring her.

The damned building is about 15K sf of ledges and carpets up the walls not to mention the cube pits and gym apparatus that has gym chalk all over and full of dust. Duh I sneezed. I take lisinopril which causes coughs. I coughed. No where near her or anyone else. Social Distancing x 5.

She called me an ignorant redneck and continued to pitch a bitch. Chicken necking and her finger was employed full bore. A true Maxine Waters wannabe.

I told the teenager I would wait outside and left the gym passing by the bitch. She said she didn't want to get infected by an ignorant redneck and I responded I am not an ignorant redneck and that would be very difficult to do as I have had the rona and can neither get it or spread it. She said I can't prove that I've had it.

"Are you calling me a liar?" I said, "we haven't been given yellow stars or papers yet."

The truly ignorant one didn't get the reference.

I'm torn whether to pull Ariel out of the gym or face this bitch every week. I sneeze every fucking time I walk in the place and get all congested til about 5 minutes after I leave. I have and always have had horrendous allergies, but I'll be damned if I'll be forced to prove to any skanky bitch that I can't 'harm' her from 40+ feet away. I'll also be damned if some bitch like her forces me to stop taking Ariel to the gym. It so upset Ariel that she was brought out to me about 25 minutes later as she was misbehaving, which she never does; because, she couldn't see me in the gym and panicked.

Fuck that bitch and fuck em all.

I have a new employee who doesn't know how to operate one of my important instruments. I thought I would bring in a grad student, post doc, or staff from the local research University to do the basic training.

No go. COVID-19 precluded their coming on site.

So at the moment we are doing training by a combination of video conference, remote instrument control, and Facetime (to view the instrument) to do the training with a Field Service Rep from the company who made the instrument. He is located about 500 miles away.

So far it is working well. I will not give up my day job to set up this sort of thing.

From my new pal:

The old days, tar and feathers, out of town on a rail....the norse sagas all have only one ending, enough landowners get together and chase the miscreants until they take shelter in the chiefs hall, and say well what are you going to do about it? The answer comes swiftly, the fire arrows set the straw soaked in pitch around the hall into an inferno, and anyone attempting to escape is riddled with arrows, flaming roof falls in on everyone else. Happy ending, posse goes back to what they were doing before, next potential miscreants think twice.

Tree of liberty needs refreshing from time to time, said Jefferson. We might be at the tar and feathers stage, perhaps the set the hall on fire stage, next weeks will tell, hope we are all still here for a happy ending, it's still elk season in places.

James D - there's never a revolution until there is. The spark is observed only in hindsight.

I would have been happy to live the remainder of my life without this conflict but here we are. The questions are how much submission are we willing to endure, where is the (or your) red line, and what will be the spark? Alternatively, do we just accept and endure? This country has a better history to draw on for standing up to tyranny but the last half century has made great inroads on marketing the "benefits" of socialism. I continue to hope it's not too late all around.

Let me unwillow on behalf of my sibling. If anyone has suggestions for categories of investments please respond.

My single sister is concerned about stock investments due to worries about Biden Admin taxes and general economic incompetence.
She had to retire early, she's in her early 60s not quite eligible for Medicare yet.
She has a Social Security payment and has paid off her house.

But her concern is to nurse her nest egg of savings out to the future.

If she gets partly or fully out of stocks, what would be alternate choices to put the money?
Ideas requested.
Maybe bond funds or bond ETFs?
Cash? Interest too low.
REITs? Real estate and office rental shaky.
Gold? Maybe a percentage but I think Dems have been able to prevent people from using metals to fight currency devaluation.

Not directing this at you James but at the historical realty behind the thoughts.
But my reaction is; tough shit.
Who said comfort, cold or otherwise is our lot? Just because we're Americans? Just because we got to watch Leave it to Beaver and The Andy Griffith Show when we were kids?
Our parents and some of us actually went out and literally shot and killed communist and fascist shitbags who wanted to burn our country down. They went through ten year long depressions where starving was a real possibility. Our parents and grandparents went through a real plague the year my dad was born that killed masses of the young and healthy. And their parents and grandparents went through a war that truly tore the country in half and also killed hundreds of thousands of young men in the prime of life, not ancient geezers with one foot in the grave. And their fathers created a country with their own blood and treasure in the war that birthed America.
The relatively peaceful and prosperous post war interlude, which itself was torn by wars both cold and hot and internal strife and crime, was the exception not the rule of human existence.

And part of approaching the world as an adult is rolling up our sleeves and going about the things that will put the crooks in their place. If the system becomes broken then we either repair it or go outside it until order is restored through other means.
I hope this doesn't sound harsh, but as anti American as the progs and their disgusting project is, the Ledge and the idea of retreating to a safe harbor rather than fighting it out down in the streets and fields and the attitude that I'm demoralized because all is lost and what can we do and the progs have won and all the rest of the doom and gloom crap is in its own way as antithetical to American values and the Founding as the progs are.
It was just 12 years ago that the most left wing president in history was elected with both a large majority in the House and a filibuster proof majority in the senate. Those birthed the Tea Party movement and Trump and we have no clue where or what those both will still lead to nor do we know where the next couple of years will turn.
Life's a bitch and people are awful. If we spend all our time bemoaning that fact as though we are helpless pawns in a passive audience rather than actors on the same stage who have at least as much power to direct the play in the direction we want, life will be even more of a bitch.
There are more of us than there are of them. If there wasn't they wouldn't have to cheat and steal. Even though they have captured the culture and the institutions they still have to lie, cheat and steal to get elected.
The only way they win is if we give up and cry, pout, run away and fight with each other rather than the real enemy.
So, you can be miserable or you can make a prog miserable. I know not which course others may take but as for me, give them misery and/or give them death, if and when it comes to that.

Cecil Turner

MT, I could never figure out the Q think, but I read the stuff you posted.is he/they supposed to come in and save us? If so, I’m all in!

Ignatz Ratzkiwatzki

I think Sasse is largely correct on the legal technical issues [I have no knowledge, and neither does he, what the TX AG's motivations were] but that's because it is in the context of the Dems peeing in the swimming pool and then grinning and saying "see if you can get it out."

There's no doubt they peed in the pool and IMO there is a great deal of merit in taking it to court in every venue possible even if the only lesson for the populace is, there is no legal remedy to what the Dems do and so self-help is probably our last option.

Ignatz Ratzkiwatzki

It's at the end of TM's thread starter Jane.

Another Bob

Rich, you talking about ETFs that are levered? Because absent leverage, ETFs are glorified mutual funds, no?

JimSV, I'm more or less in the same boat as her. Is she looking to conserve what she has or does she need to grow it? Return ON capital or return OF capital?

The PTB have constructed the system to try and force you to invest in stocks or consume. As you say, cash seems pretty pointless because ZIRP and a devaluation in some form seems inevitable.

I've still been in the stock market, but that's declining to "toes in the water" as I've been selling on the way up. The more "sophisticated" types here may point and laugh, but my parking place has been no-load short-term corporate bond mutual funds like VFSUX (I LOL at that ticker symbol too). Relatively safe 2.5% return or so.

Lyle's idea of annuities isn't bad except hasn't the chief criticism been they're a relatively expensive product generally?

jimmyk

Agree with Iggy @1:11.

Hi Cecil, welcome back. I can’t judge Sasse’s argument because I haven’t seen the evidence, and IANAL anyway. I suspect the probability arguments carry no weight legally, but that doesn’t mean they aren’t compelling. The one in a quadrillion thing was silly, but the circumstantial configuration of outcomes and the timing is all suspicious to me. Of course they are not the smoking guns needed for a legal case. On the other hand, there apparently a lot of affidavits asserting cheating. Those seem like solid evidence.

lyle

Takes a lot of zeroes to live on 2%

Takes even more at 0%.

Fixed annuities are NOT expensive if you stay in to term, i.e., pay no surrender charge. Variable annuities can be quite expensive, fee-wise.

Another Bob

+1 Jimmy.

The problem Trump is stuck with is the "it's not what you know it's what you can prove".

And dem pols and dem judges have created a tilted playing field that accommodated fraud, and permitted the evidence to be obscured or destroyed.

clarice

I think as a political matter the state legislatures would be hard pressed (as would Congress) to toss the elected slates unless it was first demonstrated that no legal remedy was available after all had been tried. If you can't get the pee out of the pool with chlorine then drain it.

ETFs are glorified mutual funds, no?

I hope this doesn't sound harsh, but as anti American as the progs and their disgusting project is, the Ledge and the idea of retreating to a safe harbor rather than fighting it out down in the streets and fields and the attitude that I'm demoralized because all is lost and what can we do and the progs have won and all the rest of the doom and gloom crap is in its own way as antithetical to American values and the Founding as the progs are.

Proust of Joyce?

Proust and Joyce were pretty good.

Hi Jane, Rocco, Iggy, Rich and Clarice . . . and anyone I missed. Thanks.

I read a few of the filings (and decisions) and was struck by the same thing Sasse said about fraud claims. And I looked at a few of the pieces of evidence (esp. the GA video and those affidavits that were online), and they were very weak. Whatever fraud happened, the legal team seemed singularly ill-equipped to find it . . . or at least it didn't appear they found much . . . and they must've been looking in the wrong places.

My brother and I were discussing this and we concluded mail-in voting was inherently vulnerable to things like voter drives getting lists of unlikely voters and engineering mass mailings to central city buildings or PO boxes, where they could be completed in bundles. And once fraudulent ballots were prepared, they would be most likely mailed in as any others and indistinguishable upon receipt. And the only way to catch them would be an insider snitching at the preparation end. No idea if they could organize that, or if it in fact happened.

But I was struck by the disconnect between widespread belief in cheating and relative lack of evidence.

Michael Yon is at the march in Washington DC:

"My guess: MAGA march will be huge and underestimated by media. BLAMTIFA will make many attacks -- especially on the edges, and especially after nightfall, which will barely hit news unless they do something spectacular."

Here's something I don't understand: Why is it up to the legal team to find it? Isn't fraud a crime? Aren't there state and local (and even federal) employees whose job it is to investigate criminal activity?

And the only way to catch them would be an insider snitching at the preparation end.

As mentioned, I was under the impression that there were sworn affidavits to that effect.
