So ... my feeling is that Trump and supporters gave Repubs a Pres Election win, but were cheated which GOP by and large were not interested in contesting.
Additionally, GOP was given victories in 27 of 27 swing House races.

Therefore, it was decided to stab the base in the back.

They made sure to do it just before the GA runoffs.

We've heard about all the usual suspects-- Rice, Yates, Clapper, Brennan, Comey, etc...

Those names are intended to misdirect.

Q: Who haven't you been told about?

A: Celeste Wallander.

Celeste was Obama’s Russia expert on the NSC.

Fiona Hill and Celeste Wallander are old time pals.

@realKTMcFarland spoke w Fiona just before Flynn called Kislyak.

Reference (read only if you have several hours to spare):
newyorker.com/magazine/2020/…

Before we get to Celeste, consider the possibility @adamentous was likely tipped off about Flynn-Kislyak call by Fiona Hill.
foxnews.com/politics/washi…

According to the Mueller Report we know Flynn called Michael Ledeen right before calling Kislyak. But we were never told about the call between K.T. McFarland and Fiona Hill.

As the "Special Assistant to the President and Senior Director for Russia and Eurasia on the National Security Council", Wallander would qualify as a "Senior U.S. Government official" defined by Ignatius.

The Flynn-Kislyak transcripts surely came across her desk. How else could Celeste allege there was "clear evidence" Trump's team had "coordinated with Russians."

Narrative: Liberals consider Victoria Nuland and Celeste Wallander as Obama's top two Russia experts who tried to "warn everyone" and offer "solutions" re: Putin. Always being "dismissed" and "sidelined," Celeste had no choice but to leak to @IgnatiusPost.

More old movies could have warnings added about racism and stereotypes, after UK film censors said Ming the Merciless in 1980's Flash Gordon was "dubious if not outright offensive".

The British Board of Film Classification (BBFC) added a warning about "discriminatory stereotypes" for the film's recent re-release.

Ming was of East Asian appearance and was played by Sweden's Max Von Sydow.

Next year, the BBFC will examine how to handle stereotypes in other old films.

The organisation gave Flash Gordon a 12A rating for its reissue - more strict than the A rating it was given on its original release, which is roughly equivalent to a PG today.

Link to Bannon's War Room podcast which is now live. I put it on in the background on a separate channel. He just had Guiliani on who said that the arguing over important decisions is NORMAL and the President is usually the calmest guy in the world.

Bannon said that the media is acting like this is some sort of "Shakespeare drama, like 'Richard III'" (which I though funny) and no "fairy godmother" is going to come in, but grinding this out will do so.

He also has trashed Chris Chrhistie and called him a "gutless coward" (direct quote). HA!

Clarice, that AT at 10:34 is a fitting bookend to a presidency that began with great hope and ends like he was never here. In two aspects, we are even worse off: We now accept that justice applies only to some of us; and we now accept that stealing an election in broad daylight is OK if the right people are declared winners. Those two realities, now accepted, will do more long term harm to the American Experiment than any positive accomplishments he achieved.

Navarro: He said people would come into his office asking for help dealing iwth China. After listening to their "tale of woe" he would pull out his white board chart with Paul Simon's list of things China does and would say "Oh, you mean they did this and this and this?"

Navarro: Suddenly the lights would go on in their eyes and they would realize it wasn't just them, but that was how China operated, in a coordinated fashion. That's what the legislatures need to realize, that this isn't just Georgia or Michigan but ALL of their states in a coordinated strategy.

In the end, I think 75 million people have invested every ounce of mental energy they had in the emotion of hope these last four years, and in that we lived and breathed every glimmer of hope we could find wherever we found it. In the end, it came to naught so why waste even a minute more listening to or watching the rabid cheerleaders. None of them were right about anything.

Never happen, Cap'n. And we lack the numbers to make it stick. What good are more-better words when nobody gives a damn about the present words in the first place. If it takes 2/3 to change the Constitution, the other side already has a veto proof contingent that would rather just tear up the whole thing now.

President-Elect Jim,SunnyvaleCA

"A Trump veto would be a great "F off" to the DC establishment, both R and D. But I wouldn't bet on it, as one thing Trump is not is a fiscal conservative."

Senate made it clear there's a veto proof majority (2/3s to override?).
The House is where the rubber will meet the road. If there's any MAGA spirit left in GOPe.

Natasha Mantle
November 9 ·
Willie Brown, former SF Mayor and Kamala Harris lover who gave her first big Government job, opines on the potential election results:
"I hope Joe Biden is enjoying his victory over President Trump, because he is about to walk into a nightmare.
Biden has the White House, barring a legal Hail Mary from Trump. Kamala Harris will be vice president, and it seems Nancy Pelosi will still be House speaker. But that’s it.
There’s a good chance Republicans will have a narrow Senate majority, and that keeps Mitch McConnell in the driver’s seat. And believe me, he will hit the brakes on every piece of legislation that Biden and Pelosi try to move, just as he and the rest of the Republicans did during President Barack Obama’s second term.
McConnell is not the type of politician to compromise or seek peace. He wouldn’t even compromise with Donald Trump.
And he punishes people who go against him.
It will be gridlock.
Biden also faces a potential split among Democrats, with progressives eager to move on their agenda and moderates reading the election results as indicative of a much redder landscape than they expected.
It’s not a pretty picture.
The biggest thing Biden has going for him: He’s almost surely a one-term president, not because he’d be defeated for re-election but because he’ll be 81 during a 2024 campaign and probably won’t run. That gives him the freedom to forget about scoring points for himself and concentrate on what will actually help the country.
Why Dems underperformed: We were tantalized with the the possibility of a blue wave once again sweeping ashore on election day. What we got was muddy water.
Democrats hoped they could flip the Senate. They might still, but it looks like it will depend on winning two Georgia runoff elections Jan. 5. That’s a long shot.
Democrats hoped they would increase their House majority. Instead, it got narrower.
It’s clear that the Democratic Party has lost its way. We no longer generate much excitement outside the Sunday morning talk shows.
We have to stop telling voters what they should do, and instead start listening to what voters want us to do.
Democrats, and that includes me, have become the elites. And we will keep disappointing ourselves in elections unless we rethink what we are doing.
Simple solution: The tug-of-war over vote counting has made it clear that we need one nationwide standard in federal elections.
Let the states and counties continue to decide the guidelines for local races, but when it comes to the federal part of the ballot, there should be a firm set of rules.
And we need to give people a way to vote digitally. After all, if the financial world can figure out how to make make billions of dollars in electronic transactions, if you can pay just about all your bills and even your taxes electronically, then we should be able to come up with a safe way to vote online.
Another rule ought to be that the vote has to be in the registrar’s office by 8 p.m. on election day. None of this waiting 17 days for the mail to come in.
You get the ballot a month ahead of time. Don’t wait around." Nov. 7, 2020
