Twitter has censored the Hmmmm account which cleverly identified Igor Danchenko, as the Steele Primary Subsource, who, jointly or severally with Steele, fabricated collusion allegations in Steele dossier

One of the replies says it shows someone is keeping tabs on researchers.

I assume you mean "RobinHood," OL?

Trading is pretty cheap on Schwab, it shouldn't make that much difference.

CHICAGO — A Chicago investment manager who fled the country after being charged in a fraud scheme has been returned to the United States from Indonesia.

MARCUS BEAM was indicted in January 2020 on charges he fraudulently obtained money from women he met online. According to the indictment, Beam falsely claimed to the women and other investors that their funds would be invested in stocks such as Uber and Lyft. Beam instead spent the money for his own personal benefit, including rent, auto loans, and retail purchases, resulting in a loss to investors of at least $500,000, the indictment alleges.

Rep. Jim Jordan
The Senate is divided 50/50.

The House is almost equally divided.

President Biden promised he’d work with Republicans.

But he’s signed 40 executive orders and actions in nine days.

Capitol Police will boost security at train stations and airports around Washington, D.C., for traveling lawmakers.

This extends the security beyond the Capitol, which was stormed by protesters on Jan. 6.

Just put the lawmakers is sealed Kevlar bags. Let the postal service ship them. If they are lost in the mail, we can easily get new ones.

Hell of a broker.

Trolling CH that blatantly is not nice. If you insist on doing it, howz about changing your name to 'paleo' instead?

Let’s get this straight.

The COVID-19 pandemic prevents President Biden from meeting with 26 U.S. Senators to discuss his action targeting energy workers.

The COVID-19 pandemic does NOT prevent President Biden from putting thousands of Americans out of work. twitter.com/SenDanSullivan…

Are Louisiana workers not worth a moment of the president's time?

Pres. Biden’s federal leasing ban would eliminate 48,000 direct energy jobs in Louisiana by 2022 and another 8,000 high-paying jobs in water management and coastal restoration.
Alaska and Louisiana senators ask uncomfortable questions. No wonder they are adding more security in the DC area.

Some beats are just obvious

Schwab and others limited purchases too, jimmy.

That link of Mel's from this morning seemed like a pretty definitive explanation that Robinhood et al are caught in a Dodd Frank regulatory bind, which explains the massive credit line and loan tapping an otherwise seeming pipeline conduit for transaction had to make.

"In the past two years, President-elect Joe Biden’s pick to be Treasury secretary, Janet Yellen, has raked in more than $7.2 million in speaking fees from Wall Street and large corporations including Citi, Goldman Sachs, Google, City National Bank, UBS, Citadel LLC, Barclays, Credit Suisse, Salesforce and more."

Forms posted late Ne Year's Eve. Story ran in Politico New Year's Day.

Looks to me like this was sort of buried. Ran acoss the link on a Glenn Greenwald thread.

By the way, the slant of the article is about how this might upset the Progressive wing of the Democrats. They apparently don't understand Trump Republicans yet.

Any thoughts on this?https://www.tierneyrealnewsnetwork.com/post/tierney-s-real-news-01-29-21

Not a constitutional scholar, but here are my two thoughts anyway.

1. If exception to mootness depends on a "reasonable expectation that the same complaining party is subject to the same action again," then Mike Pence ought to be added to the suit if he's not already on it. That should prevent the Democrat congress from killing the case by disqualifying Trump through some censure resolution.

2. I can't fathom how citizens whose votes have been nullified by election fraud are somehow not considered harmed by the fraud. But as with ObamaCare, the Court seems to focus on how government can be empowered and to hell with the citizens.

Years ago I signed up for a free Epoch Times account and get multiple emails per day from them since, which I have been clicking on. Then about 2 weeks ago they bulk mailed their 1/8 print edition as a free sample. I was impressed enough to mail them a check for a years subscription. (I wrote on the form that I already had an account under the email.)

So my free account got changed to a subscriber, and my weekly paper edition appeared today.

I’m pretty impressed. It’s well put together, with lots of interesting content. The emails with links to the online edition and the online stories are still surrounded by trashy ads (1 WEIRD TRICK TO ELIMINATE TOE FUNGUS!!!) but their content is quite serious and the print edition looks a lot more like Wall Street Journal than Weekly World News.

I have no idea how widely they distributed the free samples. The subscription envelope went to Chicago.

Mr. Solomon, whom I had high hopes for, is using as his sources in this story Politico, CNBC, the law firm, and Biden's comment about how their family has a reputation for philanthropy. I see NO news and feel like clicking on it was a mistake.

In fact, it infuriated me as an example of how this type of BS and rumors gets circulated around and offers nothing except cover for the Biden family's shady dealings. I probably will quit visiting his site.

The latest financial disclosures of @SpeakerPelosi includes a recent stock option buy that could result in a financial windfall for the California Democrat.

This is thanks to a Biden administration electric car executive order just issued.

Looks like Biden Inc. is still in business.

The president’s son reportedly still has a 10% stake in a Chinese private equity firm despite @POTUS promising this wouldn't happen.

This bullpuckey is payola more than anything the record companies and DJs ever did.
These fees are for what? Some pointless stupid boilerplate speech that does not and cannot, in itself, contain anything of value to the payers. So its value is in the form of access and influence only; which used to be called graft and influence peddling.

In related news the CNN/Dem revolving door spun again as Doug Jones (D-AL) was also hired as a CNN contributor.

Infuriating, isn't it? I am also enraged at the high book advances some of them get.
