More CNN anonymous source reporting. Because we all know how reliable THAT has been lately.

Sammy Small

I don't remember Trump interrupting the speech to his supporters to take a call from McCarthy. Hmmmm, but its CNN, so....

Don’t worry James, Jim Acosta contributed! What a joke!

Eight Famous Libs Who Have Compared Conservatives to Nazi’s

I would have thought CNN (and TM) would have reported that it is too bad this evidence did not come out during the collecting of evidence by Pelosi’s House in their impeachment investigation.

Oh, I forgot. The majority in the House doesn’t believe in Constitutionally protected due process.

Which group is a greater threat to the Constitution: the “crowd” strolling through the Capitol semi-invited, or rampant militant House majority bent on overturning votes in every future election?

You make the call.

matt - deplore me if you must

We live in a world where all out propaganda has become the norm so long as it fits the narrative.

"sources close to", or "White House officials" are the coin of the journalistic realm these days. Remember "Anonymous? Some low level hack. Ciaramella? He heard to from someone who heard it from a guy he knew. Vindmann? They all knew they could get away with their petty vendettas because the media were desperate to keep the lie machine flowing.

And now they are banning Project Veritas, who have nailed at least 50 grifters and liars fair and square.

This is today's Ministry of Propaganda. It is coming close to equalling Goebbels of the Soviets, take your pick. Tractor production is up 200%!!! It's a Right Wing Conspiracy!!!

matt - deplore me if you must

Evidence???? We don' need no steenkin' evidence!!!

Just lie down...

Given zero degrees and more snow, I’m locking myself down for today.

Had a thought on the “socialism” never working, so why keep trying it? Look at the nomenklatura, or Chinese princes, or the Kim’s, Ceaucescus, Chavez of the world. Socialism works perfectly for them. (Until it suddenly doesn’t).

Ah. Remember how, for a while, Steve Schmidt was in a different beautiful room in every TV appearance? One day he's Zooming from the kitchen, next from the living room, next from a loft?

It was a virtual tour. He was using cable news hits to market his flipper house.

lol, one of the lincoln project dudes used the money he got to flip homes apnews.com/article/donald…

M.S. Bellows, Jr.
So Steve Schmidt took his Lincoln Project $, bought a mountain mansion, used his cable hits to market it, and now is trying to flip it for more than double what he paid. Here's his MSNBCZ (Microsoft NBC Zillow) home tour:

I mean the press issues articles about millions of people that are unemployed, food insecure or behind in their rent payments. Just by the way our economy is structured I expect that the majority of them are illegals.

And unfortunately, they can’t go live in with their parents because they’re in Guatemala.

Many of the legals can’t because momma is shacked up with baby daddy number 9.

Efforts to explain the Holocaust often include the debate between Intentionalism and Functionalism (also called structuralism).

On the Intentionalism side, there are those who argue that the orders to murder millions of Jews came from the top, that the intent from the leadership drove the design and function of the process. Mass murder was always the desired outcome. On the functionalism side, the argument is that the Nazi top leadership did not really have a plan to commit genocide - not that they did not approve - but that the outcome was an inevitable, albeit unintentional, product of the structure and function of the Nazi movement and organization, aided by other external factors.

The same variety of debate arises as people seek to explain why Africans were victimized by the Atlantic slave trade (operative from the 16th century through the mid-19th).
Intentionalism argues it was because white Europeans were simply racists whose intent was to destroy Africans whom they feared.

Functionalists will argue, as the economist Thomas Sowell did, that “Blacks were not enslaved because they were black but because they were available.”

Intentionalism in this context does not mean simply intending (wanting or wishing) something to happen, it means setting a specific goal and then building and managing a functional structure to deliver that outcome. Conversely, functionalism means building a function and structure first, and then assessing the resulting outcome.

One might assume, because progressive Democrats honestly believe the world can be saved by good intent, that makes them intentionalists – it does not. Equating to an “At least you tried” idea of relying how hard one works rather than whether the desired outcome is delivered indicates a reliance on function or structure – essentially a reliance on process. If a strong law is passed, is supported with a strong bureaucratic and regulatory structure, and we stick to the rules and work really, really hard, the outcome will be assured. Progressives are functionalists, believing in the mechanisms of government.

That progressives are functionalists is revealed in their expressed that “real collectivism” has never failed because it has never been implemented correctly. They will get it right THIS time.

However, as Thomas Sowell noted in the response to how ineffective government will always be in curing “inequality”: “As a result you set up process whose end result may not result in any more or less inequality than exists now but the question is that those processes may indeed reduce freedom greatly.”

One would be correct to deduce that function or structure alone is not enough to assure the desired outcome – because they may well fail to deliver the desired outcome while yielding disastrous unintended consequences – or to extend Dr. Sowell’s thought, it is possible that the process does yield the expected outcome, but with a terrible and unacceptable cost in collateral damage.

There is a significant gap between the real world and the Utopian construction the progressive movement favors.

Perhaps I have been rooted in the “hard” sciences like engineering and mathematics for far too long to have an appreciation of living in a world where intent matters more than actions and results. Granted, I have been trained in hard sciences and have worked in the operational end of several “hard” manufacturing businesses in my 40 some odd years in the workplace. In every case, results have mattered – often to the very survival of the company. Maybe I’m just too sensitive to the execution of plans to comprehend the idea that our purpose is simply to “be” and be taken care of by a benevolent government and that requires no “doing” and that having an idea is as good as putting one to work.

Ideas (intent) most certainly do matter - but simply having an idea is not enough. An unrealized idea, something that yields no result, is worthless. It is the same in politics as with business. In 2011, Mark W. Johnson, co-founder and senior partner at Innosight (a leading innovation consultancy), wrote:
“Creativity, by itself, is not enough. As I’ve previously written in this space, inventions that aren’t commercialized—no matter how creative—remain inventions, not innovations. To be commercial, an invention needs to matter enough to a customer to be worth paying for. And what matters to most customers is not the invention itself but what job it enables them to do that they could not do, or do well enough, before. The microwave, for example, when it was first introduced, was a terrible oven, but it was fantastic defroster—and to many customers it was worth quite a lot to be able to keep food safe in the freezer until moments before they cooked dinner rather than have to think about it the morning or the night before.”

Results matter.

As Master Yoda said to Luke: “Do, or do not. There is no ‘try’.”

The real world relies on outcomes, it is do or do not. There is no try.

Stephanie Nene Not Your Normal Granma

A commenter on Michael's post:

The other really really cool thing about "intent" is that gratification can be immediate. Obamacare is passed. I feel great. We did it! O.K. - what next? Intent is instant gratification...and, oftentimes, you can conveniently ignore the rule, law, program's implementation since "my work is done here" in the action itself - the outcome is largely irrelevant.

Well the wannsee conference says differently the red terror unleashed after lenins injury was more impromptu the post kirov purges were more deliberate.

Suddenly, California officials want aggressive signature verifications.

The hypocrisy with politicians is a sickness.

Actually it was a little more byzantine then that.

Wow! The hearing is pretty amazing. Democrats are freaked - now want witnesses, and do not believe the rules apply to them. Dems want a zoom deposition first - and our counsel says if they get it, we will have at least 100 depositions in person. Vote happening now.

A note from the Immanuel Project:

In this video we would like to introduce Project Immanuel, which critically examines the scientific background of the so-called "Corona Crisis." With the help of the natural scientist and virologist Dr. Stefan Lanka, all fundamental publications on SARS-CoV-2 and COVID-19 are closely scrutinised and scientifically examined in a series of posts.

The Senate is voting now on "whether or not it shall be in order to consider and debate under the impeachment rules any motion to subpoena witnesses and or documents."

Methinks they've put their collective noses a bit too far over the tips of their collective skis, at the collective.

And on to witnesses it shall be.

Jerry Dunleavy
The last-minute Senate vote on Trump impeachment witnesses passes with Susan Collins, Lisa Murkowski, Mitt Romney, Ben Sasse, & then Lindsey Graham joining the Democrats. Senate erupts a bit after the vote when Patrick Leahy says it is out of order to ask what they just voted on.

scuse me.

During the last 4 months of 2020, the FBI had a flood of reports of ransomware attacks.

Most of the details in this story come from outside the FBI, especially from hospitals.

Motive unknown, other than money, which they seem to have gotten quite a bit, almost $30 million.

I wonder if the data on the China Virus was being monitored or manipulated. The FBI thinks some of this came from Russia, but offer no evidence. I suspect China, myself.

Begging for qatarie to buy south carolina real estate is not a good look.

Like this

If the democrats decide on Zoom call witnesses, can we have them with the cat filter?

Now the senators have no idea what they voted for and Leahy refused to clarify. It is 55 to 45 to allow witnesses. Democrats want 1 witness, but that is unconstitutional (as if they care) and the good side will call 100 witnesses.

They are the most clueless group of people on the planet.none should ever be elected again, and every democrat should be impeached for stupidity. Of and BTW McCarthy says the reported conversation is not true.

To clarify: The dems want one witness and none for our side. That is unconstitutional.

Is MAGUIRE actually Jim Hoft.

What happened to MAGUIRE??

They arent clueless they are the pawns of every evil power on the eartb.

Ignatz Ratzkiwatzki

--McCarthy's "Who the f--k do you think you're talking to?" was no doubt rhetorical. But since McCarthy voted early the next morning to overturn the election and later voted against impeachment, I'd guess Trump thought he was talking to his cabana boy.--

If McCarthy testifies to this I will consider it likely to have occurred, otherwise I'll consider it like the last four years of MFM lies.
If it did occur all I can say is good. If DC doesn't get a clue we're sick of them destroying our country on behalf of their fat cat succubuses and China from a few LARPers paying a quarter for an envelope and walking around with Madame Tussaud's podium then they're sure as hell not going to like what comes after their refusal to listen.

Has anyone said what it is that TRUMP said or did to create an insurrection.

The fact that this shit is ongoing is bizarre.

Col Vindman Maguire aka JIM HOFT, is TURGID with excitement over a phone call rumor.

He ran over somebody's cat gus.
