--So the identified Babbit’s murderer - but still no arrest?--
He almost certainly won't be arrested because that would destroy their "insurrection" lie.
But WTF is a guy who apparently for months, in public, threatened to kill Trump supporters doing on the job as a cop?
If a Trump supporter or Republican spent months talking about shooting BLM clowns or Biden voters he would have been fired and had his life cancelled.

Just read the Federalist piece on Noem someone linked earlier. I’m still of the opinion that Noem is trying to do what she thinks is least worse re the tranny sports mess. There’s a certain rigidness in the counter arguments including TuCa’s that I don’t think covers the slimy way the legal system routinely messes with their conservative adversaries.
As the exception to prove the rule, would we have a single case on our side if not for that (now considered wacky) Lin Wood’s success slamming the nuze scammers on behalf of the MAGA hat kid?
Posted by: Manuel Transmission | March 25, 2021 at 10:27 AM
We don't know what success he had re the nuze scammers because of NDAs.
If they admitted no liability and settled for peanuts what difference does it make?
As for Noem, isn't the desire to always settle for the least worse choice thrust on us by progs why we are in this situation? We're running out of hills to die on, and if dudes taking showers with our daughters isn't one, I'm not sure what is.
To paraphrase Patton, until we start making the dumb bastard progs start dying on their own hills we should consider ourselves losing.
Posted by: Ignatz Ratzkiwatzki | March 25, 2021 at 10:35 AM
There may be a rationale for what Noem is doing, but it's her job to communicate that. That aside, calling the left's bluff is a better strategy. "Oh, so the NCAA is going to shut down SD college sports? Let them try, and see what that does to public opinion, not only on this issue of men crossing over to compete against women, but on the NCAA and the entire leftist agenda. Go ahead, make my day."

anonamom,
The second hour of Bannon's show has information on payoffs to people affiliated with WHO and Peter Daschle's Eco-something group.
Profiteering off the virus, sounds like.
I am sorry I can't do a more comprehensive recap today. It took me 20 minutes to get onto the site AFTER Mozilla helpfully informed me it was an unsafe site and wouldn't connect, so I had to go through a different route.
After things calm down here, maybe over the weekend, I can get my computer squared away and get myself on a new browser. This was set up long ago and all of my sites like the bank and the grocery are used tot his configuration.
The first company who invents a "we promise to keep your basic computer use the same" site will get my business.
I am now off to lunch with sisters and friend. Hopefully my dem sister won't feel like we have to watch the press conference.

Investigative journalist Laura Loomer has revealed that Ahmad Al Aliwi Al-Issa, the terrorist who perpetrated Monday’s deadly attack in a Boulder, Colorado supermarket, was actually inspired by ISIS and targeted the supermarket, King Soopers, because it is kosher friendly. The supermarket keeps lots of kosher foods and is known as a place where Jews will be present to purchase such foods.

Rabo guy who is always good;
"Central Banks Are Gonna Need A Bigger Boat"
Perhaps jimmy or OL or someone equally sharp can help me out here;
I used to believe that interest rates and debt had an indirect and at times independent relationship. I used to believe that the Fed could generally set short term interest rates, but that market forces [subject to certain manipulations] usually and generally set long rates.
However, after looking at that long term chart I mentioned awhile back on the relationship between debt and interest rates, I'm wondering if I have been wrong all along and that interest rates are in fact largely set by, and the range that they move in is constrained by, the amount of outstanding debt, and that the Fed and other actors have very limited ability to alter them beyond those constraints, if at all.
If that is substantially true then my question is does the market [which the amount of debt essentially represents, though not the actors in it] in fact set rates based simply on supply and demand?
Over supply of debt creates a low cost to that debt. But eventually that low cost creates such an oversupply [or vice versa] that the market corrects by raising the cost, to cut supply because fewer people want to buy it? And the Fed itself eventually loses the ability to step in and buy up the excess at which point interest rates roll over [because markets can only be denied so long]? And debt shrinks out of necessity because people and governments can simply no longer afford it?
And the only other method to relieve the pressure of all that debt is to create inflation [along with the ballooning interest rates] which also helps to eliminate the imbalances of oversupply? But, is a general inflation [other than hyperinflations] an actual choice and policy of a central bank or does it simply appear to be and is in fact just a method by which the market rebalances accounts?
I have wondered how and what causes a high debt/low interest rate regime to end. If central banks had control of interest rates then MMT would work and governments would never not pile up debt, but we know historically that isn't true. But my previous presumption was that actors, both public and private, monetary and fiscal determined when and if those trends reversed. But now I'm thinking they're more like ice ages. A conscious decision may be made to lose fiscal discipline and pile up debt [because that's what people do, especially with OPM] but the ending of it is purely a result of the glaciers growing so thick they fail of their own weight regardless of what public and or private actors want to happen. Correct?

Iggy, I take the view that the quantity of debt itself is not so impactful on interest rates, especially with the Fed buying it up like a crack addict. Long rates are mainly affected by longer term real economic growth and inflation. Growth will suck once the economy's climbed back from the lockdowns, but the markets seem to think the Fed can somehow squeeze the toothpaste back into the tube. I don't think so, but as Keynes said, markets can stay irrational longer than I can stay solvent.

It's not a perfect correlation and there are other factors like inflation/deflation but the general trends of public debt vs interest rates seem to be pretty closely inversely proportional.

Not much to say. That chatter about the DOJ making up info while prosecuting so-called 1/6 rioters is just another notch in the scary-things column. Also the marine testifying that the DOD is adding Catholics to the domestic terrorist list is a bit much, not to mention bizarro, as Biden is Catholic. Huh?
