Giuliani’s son Andrew on FBI raid:

"The only piece of evidence that they did not take up there today was the only piece of incriminating evidence that is in there — and it does not belong to my father — it belongs to the current president's son."

This is great, using Roberts Rules to remove the school board (from Ace).

"Hundreds of parents showed up to the Vail School Board meeting to demand the board make masks optional. The board didn't want to hear it so they walked out of the meeting before it even began. So the parents, under Robert's Rules of Order, voted in a new school board. Then, the new members voted to end the mask requirement in Vail Schools. The old school board members revealed exactly who they are and that includes GOP LD 10 Chairman, Chris King. .."

"Could he be in THAT office? I don't think he can legally be in there but I will check before Ieave." https://t.me/linwoodspeakstruth/1867

Lin Wood is strolling an empty White House, photographing, and posting it all on his Telegram account.

Red State has more crap than readable stuff, but this one is worth the time, especially after reading about the scho0ll board being voted out for not addressing masks. You have to wade through the commentary about Biden's mask, but keep going.

[An aside. When I was going to secondary school in the UK, I was not a great athlete. I was a good cross country runner. I could not imagine trying to complete a long run while wearing a mask, let alone running in an 800-meter race.]

"HS Runner Forced by State to Wear Mask Collapses at Finish Line by
By Mike Miller | Apr 27, 2021 10:00 PM ET"

"...An incident in Oregon last week came close to illustrating the point.

As reported by The Blaze, after Maggie Williams of Summit High School in Bend, Oregon, collapsed at the finish line during an 800-meter race last week, outrage erupted over the state’s mask mandate for athletes — even for runners like Williams who “compete with the sun shining on their backs and the wind blowing past their faces.”

"...The veteran coach said he had never seen anything like it in all his years of coaching.

“I’ve been doing this for 31 years, I’ve never seen anybody basically lose consciousness. I’ve never seen that in the way it happened with Maggie.”

The good news was, apart from the fact that Williams broke her school record after her momentum carried her across the finish line, she came to, and at the time of the report was being monitored for a concussion she sustained in the fall, according to The Oregonian..."

Before you judge Biden:

Davod, I was conference champion in cross country my sophomore year in high school. Also ran 880, mile, and two mile in track. (I preferred beer to training by my junior year but kept competing). I cannot imagine doing that in a mask. That is torture.

MM2 - Joe Kent reads as if he is ready to become a congressman.

Is this the Constitutionally required State of the Union? Or just a deranged idiot blubbering away? As for “his” plans, they can sit on a cactus.

Catching up--

The Smokehouse? Say it ain't so, rse. I stayed there last summer on my way back from Florida, and the ice machine was broken but the nice people in the restaurant gave me two bins' worth, then there was a terrific storm which so weighted down all of their decorative canopies with gallons of water that they all collapsed--down goes Frazier! That place has been a tourist trap (that is the restaurant and gift store) for decades. At least their swimming pool shaped like a hambone can't have been damaged...

MM, loved the piece on Sargent--very useful, and good heavens, what we would do NOW for scandals on THAT level rather then the level we have descended to...

Sounds like someone’s side deals might be at risk there.

The press pimping Biden’s speech and policies is brutal. It must really suck for them to push this hard.

We went to Port Charlotte Park tonight and a very nice couple from Ohio with 7 kids were there. All the girls were in skirts and the older about 14ish girl and her mom had their hair covered. From Lodi, OH.

Ariel had a big time playing with the kids on the playground. She kept calling their 10 year old "Princess" I guess; because, she was in a long skirt. It was adorable.

Go down Tamiami to Harbor Blvd. Take a left and it is down there about 3 miles.

Beach, pool, tennis courts, horseshoes, shuffleboard, basketball, volleyball, bocce ball, small pier and a playground. Oh, and a boat launch, but that is kind of a given in Florida isn't it?

The beach isn't great, but it is close to go walk around after dinner and the sunset was still spectacular.

Time to talk rodent control. Burrowing beasties can bring down the dam.

Many folks know I grew up on a farm in rural Mississippi. I know you do because, like crossfitters, vegans, and Covid-19 vaccinees, I seem to bring it up with the persistence of a Jehovah Witness at your front door.

My upbringing of farming, raising farm animals for food and income, plus a copious amount of trapping, hunting, and fishing brought me in direct contact to the natural world and all its lessons in basic logic. The natural world is based on the simple logical proposition of is/is not and the consequences of answering that dichotomy. You either fed the cows or you did not, you either pulled the corn, picked the peas, or slaughtered the hogs. If you did, you ate. If you did not, you did not.

So, there you go. Lessons learned.

We have a 30-foot-tall stone (boulders, actually) retaining wall in our back yard, holding back the side of the hill that our lot was carved from and as I was mainlining coffee this morning, I noticed the wall was covered with critters. An assortment of prairie dogs and squirrels make the interstitial spaces between those rocks their dens for the winter and as the warm sunshine heats the rocks (and probably the fresh grass), Spring is bringing them out. It looks like a scene from a Disney movie (the 50’s movies, not the SJW garbage of today).

I love to watch them play, raise their young, and fatten up during the spring and summer, but due to my experiences on our Mississippi farm, I cannot fight the thought that percolates from the back of my mind that those little varmints are weakening that wall with all their excavations, den building and frolicking.

It was a common problem on local farms – the dams and levees create an environment that attracts muskrats and beavers. These two were a deadly double team for levees along our creeks and the dams we used to retain water for stock and crop irrigation. Muskrats would tunnel into the embankments and beavers would dam up the small tributaries, forcing water into the muskrat tunnels. Over time, the spring and winter rains would wash through the abandoned tunnel/den systems, eroding the soil and weakening the earthen embankments, causing them to leak and sometimes to fail.

If you did not want to see your levees and dams fail under flood loads, you had to get rid of the critters.

We tried several prevention methods – putting crushed rock down to the waterline and even burying chicken wire under the surface of the earthwork – but neither really worked and both were expensive – so we chose to get rid of them. I trapped beaver and muskrat in the area for several years because the state had a bounty on both. Mississippi is a perfect environment for the rodents and their reproduction rate was so high that there was little chance of damaging the populations permanently - for that reason, they were determined to be nuisance and a bounty was placed on their heads (or tails, as it were – a beaver tail turned in to the County Agent was worth $25 at the time).

The natural world is simple, sometimes brutally so – and has applications to the larger, socially constructed, world in which we live.

Imagine if you will, America is a massive earthen dam, holding back the worst instincts of the world, and like the Mississippi dams and levees, it creates an environment attractive to political and ideological rodents. These rodents proceed to do what they do and in the course of doing that, damage the structural integrity of the dam and when the flood comes, and it always does, the likelihood of a total collapse grows with each passing year.

What do we do?

Prevention is possible, but if not religiously pursued, will always fail. I would submit that the damage done is far too extensive for prevention to be successful – progressive rodents have burrowed into virtually every institution in America and Critical Race Theory is tunneling into our local public school systems.

The only avenue left is to eliminate the rodents, to get them away from the dam so we can repair the damage – and of course, I am not talking about trapping and eradicating humans, I am talking about the using traps in the logical sense, hunting in the sense of seeking out the ideological dens and rewarding those who are willing to pursue the varmints. I am talking about protecting our Republic from the tunneling common to anti-constitutional and anti-American critters.

The natural world has answers, we just need to pay attention.

The Sad Circus is Open

China Joe avoided scrutiny of John Kerry’s treason by doing what he has been doing with many of his other anti-American advisers. He appoints them as counselors and advisers but not to a position that requires senate confirmation. If Chuckie Schumer and the other anti-American senators actually read the Constitution, they would know that the Senate can remove the authority given the president to appoint any government employees without their approval. I think the word I am looking for is “co-conspirators.“

There is another thing overlooked by people who have never read the Constitution they swore to defend. The 14th amendment prohibits Kerry from serving in any government position because he gave aid to Iran, a clear enemy of the United States.

Although this treason just came to light.

China Joe is most afraid of the Senate looking into the deal Kerry and CJ approved during the Obama administration to allow the manufacturer of the stabilization system on the stealth fighter planes, Hennings Automotive, to be sold to the Chinese. The Chinese ownership was hidden by the two investment bankers who put together the deal through a front company. They were Hunter Biden and Kerry’s stepson.

Do you really think neither father knew about the real owners?
