Grr: 'Effing Aaron Rodgers cost his team a game and may be costing people their lives.
NFL COVID protocols strongly push towards vaccination, not whatever Rodgers homeopathic whirligig did to obtain "immunization":
"Unvaccinated players who test positive must isolate at least 10 days, even if they are asymptomatic. Vaccinated players, however, can return following a positive test as soon as they produce two negative tests with 24 hours in between, as long as they are asymptomatic. In other words, Rodgers would at least have a chance to play Sunday if he were vaccinated."
THROWING IT DOWN: Kareem dunks on Rodgers. More in the Times.
Grr II: Rule of law, anyone?!? A Federal court has stayed the dubious Biden-OSHA vaccine mandate pending review but Team Biden exhorts companies to ignore the court and soldier on. The distinction between "good idea" and "within the scope of Executive Branch authority" seems to baffle the Bidenauts. OK, Bidenuts.
Grr III: Erik Wemple of the WaPo once again bashes credulous lefties for their unwavering faith in the Steele dossier. As a bonus, Matt Taibbi piles on Rachel Maddow.
Despite their efforts I doubt this will redeem the left-wing media in many eyes on the right.

--If they can create an energy crisis, but have cover for their actions that are attributable to tribal justice and environmental concerns,...
they believe they can come out on the other side as the good guys who not only fixed the crisis, but saved the planet, respected the ancient tribal folks and thus saved the day completely.--
I think that's an accurate analysis of what they think but the results will not be what they expect.
We're past the "your lyin eyes" stage of things and progs never fix the crises they cause.
The actual result of a provoked energy crisis will be anger at Injuns and green weenies, if Xiden is successful in blaming them as demanding the closure.
But few will believe him anyway about the cause and even fewer will care as their skyhigh prices are made permanent and now unreliable by Xiden's "solution".
These retards will not stop careening from one self imposed, intentional catastrophe to another until they are either voted out of power or removed forcibly and their bodies dumped in the tidal basin by an angry mob of patriots.

Something else we're well past is the "never ascribe to malice what can easier be blamed on incompetence" theme.
That may be true when dealing with relatively benign actors dealing in good faith.
But the forces arrayed against us are malignant and invariably acting in bad faith. That they are often also incompetent is no longer particularly relevant.

For those running WinDoze 10, please be advised that even though you may not be using MSFT "Edge" browser, it will run all by its lonesome in the background on every reboot. You have to turn off it's functions in the Task Manager, after clicking on Details and start from the bottom of the list, by left clicking on the Edge process listed as running, and then right clicking on it for the menu to pop up so you can End Task.
Only way to turn the processes off and let your PC run at normal speed.

My concern is that the prosecution which has crossed the line so often will cross it again in closing arguments and if they do I hope the judge is strong enough to declare a mistrial with prejudice which would prevent a retrial.
