Grr: 'Effing Aaron Rodgers cost his team a game and may be costing people their lives.
NFL COVID protocols strongly push towards vaccination, not whatever Rodgers homeopathic whirligig did to obtain "immunization":
"Unvaccinated players who test positive must isolate at least 10 days, even if they are asymptomatic. Vaccinated players, however, can return following a positive test as soon as they produce two negative tests with 24 hours in between, as long as they are asymptomatic. In other words, Rodgers would at least have a chance to play Sunday if he were vaccinated."
THROWING IT DOWN: Kareem dunks on Rodgers. More in the Times.
Grr II: Rule of law, anyone?!? A Federal court has stayed the dubious Biden-OSHA vaccine mandate pending review but Team Biden exhorts companies to ignore the court and soldier on. The distinction between "good idea" and "within the scope of Executive Branch authority" seems to baffle the Bidenauts. OK, Bidenuts.
Grr III: Erik Wemple of the WaPo once again bashes credulous lefties for their unwavering faith in the Steele dossier. As a bonus, Matt Taibbi piles on Rachel Maddow.
Despite their efforts I doubt this will redeem the left-wing media in many eyes on the right.
--Catalytic converter thefts rampant in the Bay Area--
Here's why; in CA if your converters fail you cannot replace them with used ones, even if they work perfectly. You can replace them with new ones that usually cost in the neighborhood of $1500-2000, for the parts only, not including installation. That's often a substantial portion of what the car is worth. Of course the state will buy your $4-5,000 vehicle for $1500 if it can't pass smog after they devalue it a couple thousand for no good reason.
So lo and behold a black market of stolen cats for poor people with old cars screwed by the ruling class that drives new Audis and Mercedes and Teslas.

pin, I find that story about fabrics for women not credible. Even into the 80's when I visited there several times, their clothing was execrable--shoddy, poor fabrics.

This Clever Map is a Window into 19th Century New York City
This gives the background for the map.
Here's the app.

It's not intuitive, but kinda fun when you figure out how it works. Click anywhere on the satellite image and you can scroll up or down or click and drag to move it. The "spyglass" shows the older map "revealed" underneath. You can click and drag that around too.

Slightly shocked the judge allowed that "enhanced" screenshot of "Rittenhouse". How could they tell it was even him, let alone what he was doing?
Posted by: Ignatz Ratzkiwatzki | November 13, 2021 at 01:48 AM
Ig, the JUDGE has a ton of pressure, to try to find an ACCEPTABLE outcome. THERE IS NO SUCH THING.

Hey GUS, do you recall what Gordon Lightfoot said about the Green Bay Packers?
“All the slaves say, they’d have made Whitefish Bay
If they’d thrown 10 more Chicago fans over”

It’s a good thing that Twitter isn’t in the High Sierras because LEBRAWN has done nothing for months but trigger avalanches of ignorance and bad arguments.

Yes Pin, as you know, I'm a YOOOOOOGE Gordie Lightfoot fan.
Sometimes I think it's a shame
When I get feeling better when I'm feeling no pain

"The judge had to see the image multiple times before he allowed it into testimony."
Oddly enough, I think the judge thought the jury would show the same puzzlement about the enhanced photo as he did. Like, "I'm not going to completely dismiss, but I think they will."
I think the defense can demolish any argument based on that blurry photo.

I suppose the riots will happen whatever the verdict.
Wisconsin Gov. Tony Evers announced Friday that approximately 500 Wisconsin Army National Guard troops have been authorized to support authorities in Kenosha following the trial of Kyle Rittenhouse.

Just think the exponential in riots if the people Rittenhouse killed were POC.

This link goes to an image I uploaded to a different website …
http://www.elevendayempire.com/JOM2/download/file.php?id=520
It shows a Jack Posobiec twitter post with images of Kyle from the drone video and Kyle holding his AR15 pointed at the ground near his feet.
I added a combination image to show that it is impossible to determine direction of aim.
What the prosecution is trying to do is like a claim that Kyle in my image is aiming at some protesters in the street instead of the ground behind the guy in the wheelchair.
