Now, henry, don't go insulting the dunces of the cosmos by putting them in Hewitt's camp!
Hewitt reflects the view that the inroads Trump has made with traditional Dem voters can be taken for granted. The inroads will stay there, and the nasty tweets will go away. The view is most charitably described as delusional. Either (i) Trump is the GOP standard bearer, or (ii) Trump strongly supports and campaigns for the non-Trump nominee; or (ii) enjoy the inauguration of Prez Harris or Prez Buttgeek, or the re-inauguration of Delaware/Scranton Joe. That's the reality.
I was watching condor, a revamp of the film, which I thought was very cynical in 2018, but now in 2022, it's not cynical enough, think of it like a deep state tragedy, where like hamlet almost no one gets out alive,
jeremy irons plays the title character who is more earnest than redwood, who uncovers a 3rd conjecture type plot, against the middle east,
the eminence gris, is played by bob balaban, much like the villain in term limits, who is a midlevel official, who we discover started out as a yale divinity student, so savanarola as intelligence bureaucrat,
So, if the CO2 content has increased in the UK by 0.04% since 1961 and they've declared a climate crisis does that mean the kiddies get climate days? Or is it mental health days?
And what is the effect on the Brazilian rainforests from that extra jolt of CO2? English barley? Irish potatoes? German hops? How do the phytoplankton react?
Perhaps someone should study the effect of increased CO2 on food production worldwide. That would make a great ultra dense jargon filled word salad of a scientific paper!
And another thing. All of our oil, natural gas and coal are presumed to come from biomass over the course of billions and billions of years. Wouldn't that make them green energy too? After all, it is simply the rotting and compaction of dead dinosaurs, grasses and plants just like in your compost heap except longer.

Bill de Blasio eyeing run at newly drawn NY seat Jerrold Nadler has left behind
"x-New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio told a state lawmaker he plans to run for New York’s newly drawn 10th Congressional District — the seat that entrenched Rep. Jerrold Nadler (D-NY) is vacating to fight it out with former longtime ally Rep. Carolyn Maloney in the rejiggered 12th."
Maloney and Nadler both live in the new 12th district. It looks like some other democrats also now share districts. Great fun.
New York's new congressional maps would place 5 pairs of incumbents in the same districts
The maps for New York's 26 congressional districts will play an instrumental role in whether Democrats can retain control of the House in the midterm elections.

Now that Russia's defeated the Azov Battalion, have they won the war?
In short: the war is over. The US will try to send over another $40 billion in “aid” -at least half of it weapons-, but there’ll be nobody left to handle the small fraction that is not destroyed by Russia. And just like the Russians can simply wait for the last Azov troops to leave the steel compound, they can also sit back and track any NATO weapons deliveries, and then take them out. It is really over. Unless we go all out Napoleon. I don’t think we will.
Meanwhile, we should all be happy that the war is over. Well, are we?
I looked at the Quokka link and there was not enough background detail to fix the location. I saw my first Quokkas on Rottnest Island. I felt a little homesick watching the Quokkas.
--Now that Russia's defeated the Azov Battalion, have they won the war?--
I think a good case can be made they have largely achieved their most important objectives; secure the Donbas and the Black/Azov sea coast to Crimea.
Once the ethnic Russian portions of Georgia had been secured and granted effective autonomy Putin relented, and he may do so in Ukraine as well. He may reinforce occupied eastern and southern Ukraine and make a renewed push toward Odessa, which is majority ethnically and linguistically Russian, and perhaps even Moldova, but I doubt it, especially the latter.
We'll see.
Went to the doctor today for a routine appointment. Some of the nurses wore masks, a couple did not. The doctor did not wear a mask for the first time nor did a technician. As with Ukraine, I think that war is over. Now we have to see what the one world government Adam Henry's come up with next.
I was just pointing out that Russia has suffered massive casualties and are continuing to do so. All of those tank and truck and BTR carcasses are hard to replace while the Ukrainians have received a brigade's worth of T-80's from Poland, the Czech Republic, Bulgaria and others. They continue to receive anti-tank weapons and their use of drones has been brilliant.
Mariupol is like Berlin ca 1945. A wasteland. All of those troops now need to occupy what is now worthless territory.
Even in Donetsk and Luhansk people are turning against the brutality of the Russian war machine.
Crimea 1856, Eastern Front 1917, Finland 1939, Gates of Moscow 1941. The Russian Army hasn't done well in its foreign wars, and if they hadn't received Lend Lease would have been out of the fight in WW II.
They will defend the Matriya, but unless it is an invasion as brutal as Hitler's, I don't think have the mindset for successful conquest.
Their economy is collapsing. They can't get parts like advanced optics, electronic components or industrial equipment and they don't have the quality of reserves they would need to go back on the offensive.
Putin is micromanaging the way Hitler and Johnson did, and that doesn't turn out well. So they will use massed artillery, but for what if they can't hold ground?
P.S. Russian naval casualties have been surprisingly high as well. And worse, the overall quality and maintenance across the military have proven to be utterly substandard.
And now Finland and Sweden have formally applied for NATO membership, thus creating a solid line of NATO opposition from the Arctic to the Bosporus.
This may have been the worst miscalculation in modern military history right up there with Hitler's June 1941 invasion.

Small, fast and nimble forces have helped Ukraine batter Russia, just like Green Beret forces did against the Taliban two decades ago.

The 80s was the last formative decade for US politics. You'd be hard pressed to say for any good, but it certainly defined the future.

Ex-Green Berets Say Horse Soldier Lessons Ring True In Ukraine
Small, fast and nimble forces have helped Ukraine batter Russia, just like Green Beret forces did against the Taliban two decades ago.

What’s your social credit score:
"The Leviathan, furthermore, is the emblem of the ideal age, when this world will become the home of the righteous. It is an ideal symbol of a new economic order in the world when righteousness will be one's only requisite for acceptance unto the realm of happiness and prosperity."--Michael Higger, ‘The Jewish Utopia’, 1932, p. 17

The 80s was the last formative decade for US politics. You'd be hard pressed to say for any good, but it certainly defined the future. The New Deal coalition, having shaped politics for the previous half-century was in dissolution, heading to oblivion. Its politics had been personified by Franklin Roosevelt

Elon Musk
@elonmusk
Exxon is rated top ten best in world for environment, social & governance (ESG) by S&P 500, while Tesla didn’t make the list!
ESG is a scam. It has been weaponized by phony social justice warriors.

Durham seems to have nailed Sussman to the wall today. I wonder if Sussman will give up any of his co-conspirators? Durham seems to have a pretty paper and e mail trail that leads right into the heart of darkness this time, unlike Comey's non-indictment of Hillary for her e mail coverup.
DC is Borgias vs Colonnas vs the Imperial Guard these days.

The Pennsylvania primary is like a football game.
It seems you really don’t ever ‘lose’ a football game, you are merely behind when time runs out.
Most of Tuesday night, McCormick was ahead, then yesterday Oz broke ahead by 1200 votes … and of course it was “times up”
Personally I voted for McCormick (I look at Oz as a carpet bagger)
