Some Iraqi crude export details here, via @Bacharelhalabi for @ArgusMedia - if accurate this could be a sign that southern capacity has increased
Kaliningrad has been Russian sovereign territory since WW II, I believe. It is their Baltic port. It makes no sense, but there it is.
One one of my trips to Eastern Europe I wanted to visit Kaliningrad, but found out that I would have to fly to Moscow and then onwards. Just not worth the hassle.
It is their foothold to mess with the Baltic States, so a blockade is probably overdue now that they have threatened Finland and Sweden as well.Sort of like having a neighbor that plays loud music all night and leaves a car on cinder blocks in the front yard.
Congrats, BoE!!

The hot season of barbecues and poolside drinks will officially start on Tuesday, June 21, 2022, at 5:14 a.m. EST when the summer solstice finally arrives in the Northern Hemisphere.
This is Putinâs full speech at St. Petersburg on 6/17. There are parts in bold which the blogger feels important. I am unsure who did the translation, but there are certainly some interesting economic goals highlighted, which seem important to me, including establishing Russiaâs agricultural and industrial independence.
Americans always seem to look down on Europeans, but maybe we need to be more like them.
Case in point: I got to shoot a suppressed AR yesterday. It was the smallest suppressor you can buy, and it dramatically reduced the decibels compared to the Glock 9mm being fired three lanes down; but you have to be retarded to think they would help criminals get away with murder.
As far as I know, in Europe they are relatively easy to obtain. They have no business being on the NFA. Imagine what a $200 tax stamp was in real dollars 100 years ago.
So I just talked to a guy I havenât seen in 30 years at Home Depot. He told me about the new section of the town dump designated for retired Chinese wind turbine vanes.
Hey, you donât think China (CHI-NA!) is disposing of toxic waste in their exports, do you? Why would it be impossible to recycle the bloody things?
.And, I am annoyed that the trash pick-up has gone from two times a week to one.
"Village overrun by leaping cannibal rats infesting bins and eating anything to survive
Residents in Plean, near Stirling in Scotland, say the area has been over-run with rats since their bin collections went from fortnightly to monthly and roadworks disturbed rats' nests"
"Dan Zielinskiâs autistic son eats three âLunchables Ham & Cheddar Cheese Cracker Stackersâ every day -- one for breakfast and two for lunch. The boy used to enjoy putting together the six crackers, cheese and ham into a perfectly even sandwich. That changed in recent weeks. âHe asks for an extra cracker at breakfast because he says one is missing,â said Dan. The family buys 21 boxes a week for their son, and all contained just five crackers."
I can relate. I don't think I'm autistic, but if they had tested when I was young I might have fallen somewhere on the spectrum. In any event, I've always been a picky eater and messing with an expected cracker allowance would upset me too.
It seems like an abrogation of an implied contract - instead of pulling a stale sandwich out of a brown bag you're guaranteed quality-control over building your own, presumably fresher, mini-sandwich with cracker end-pieces and then they go and short you a cracker.
It's kind of like those soup cans that proclaim, "new and improved, tastes better." And you know it no longer doesn't, before you even buy it, but against all odds, you're still hopeful that, well, maybe it will.
A short prologue is in order. Even before the Civil War commenced in 1861, this Court indirectly affirmed the importance of the right to keep and bear arms in public. Writing for the Court in Dred Scott v. Sandford, 19 How. 393 (1857), Chief Justice Taney offered what he thought was a parade of horribles that would result from recognizing that free blacks were citizens of the United States. If blacks were citizens, Taney fretted, they would be entitled to the privileges and immunities of citizens, including the right âto keep and carry arms wherever they went .â Id., at 417 (emphasis added). Thus, even Chief Justice Taney recognized (albeit unenthusiastically in the case of blacks) that public carry was a component of the right to keep and bear armsâa right free blacks were often denied in antebellum America.
Garland is Biden's appointee. What did you expect. Most states, even California, have concealed carry laws. My nephew the cop had to leave his service weapon in his locker because they changed the law even for off duty law enforcement.
So some psycho punk goes out and somehow get a rifle and high capacity magazines and slaughters a bunch of innocents and they wonder why crime is out of control in New York State.
his trajectory is interesting he started in mortgage backed securities at first boston, then petersens outfit, name escapes me, and then was able to force the head of the nyse out for reasons,
Hey matt, just to clarify: as far as I know, any person who graduates from a Law Enforcement Academy gets a concealed carry permit nationwide for life. Itâs a federal law that preempts almost every other restriction, aside from certain federal buildings and military reservations. Itâs possible your nephewâs agency restricts their service weapons to work hours. A lot of departments expect off duty LEO to be prepared to intervene during serious felonies committed in their presence.
I was talking to a retired game warden several years ago. The only time he left his gun behind on his trip out West here is when he and his wife drove thru the Peace Garden in ND and they werenât sure if it encroached into Canada.
Happy pre-Special Persons Day!

Lunchables shrinkflation frustrates father of autistic son
Kraft says âcracker shortageâ forces cutting from six to five
"Dan Zielinskiâs autistic son eats three âLunchables Ham & Cheddar Cheese Cracker Stackersâ every day -- one for breakfast and two for lunch. The boy used to enjoy putting together the six crackers, cheese and ham into a perfectly even sandwich. That changed in recent weeks. âHe asks for an extra cracker at breakfast because he says one is missing,â said Dan.
