I've read PL religiously every day for more than twenty years. For most of that time is has been the #2 bookmark on my top bar. (It's been so long that #3 used to be Little Green Footballs.) But the breathtaking stupidity of this and other posts (notably eager acceptance of astoundingly cringe pro-Ukraine propaganda) makes me think those days are quickly coming to an end. After all, in all those 20 years, have the Republicans ever "start[ed] carrying out the duties for which they were elected"? Yeah, I didn't think so. When something isn't working, it's time to try something new, not make laughable claims such as that by electing McCarthy, "House Republicans will be able to get to work." PL needs to understand it's not 2002 anymore, and Reagan has no relevance to today.
